The so called white are even worse at speaking their own language

Agree. But does that mean they can't demand a minimum level of proficiency from those who want to come to their country? If I say you cannot wear your shoes in my house when visiting me does that mean I can't wear my own shoes in my house?

Have you visited forums dominated by "native English speakers"? I guess not.

Any language proficiency test with a validity period attached is an avenue to rip people off.
Thanks to our population, Nigeria is a viable market for such business to boom but let's not make excuses for greed please.

Would you say then that JAMB Use of English in The UME exams is an attempt at ripping Nigerians?

Maybe you're right but surely a person that passes Ielts shouldn't have to retake the test ever, or at least not after a decade.
Are we saying the person has suddenly forgotten how to speak the English after two years?

It's a good money making scheme hiding under the shell of standardisation

Should we now focus on some issues/problems and neglect others? Your reasoning level is quite low.

My reasoning level is low because I question why we should be agitating about IELTS when we have issues like poor local infrastructure? Our house is burning and we are more concerned about chasing rats? Okay I agree...my reasoning level is low. We should be more interested about how to better our country rather than the obstacles other countries put in place to discourage us Nigerians from flooding theirs

So assume the girl is a sex addict and rehabilitate her na. You can even do all those social media stunt where the lady will appear and say I have gone with carnal relations for 8 months. Babcock powerful system has delivered me from the curse of fornication, doggystyle and swallowing ( which if I recall is another deadly sin at least for Catholics )

So here's how their system works. If you have an addiction, you must report your self to the counselling unit. Then and only then will you be documented and taken in for the rehab programme. If at any point after your self reporting you are "caught" using your addiction, the system doesn't punish you rather it increases it's level of support. If you are caught in your addiction and you haven't self reported prior, just know that you are going home. All of these are articulated during freshman year and also in the student handbook. In this case the lovely lady was caught without self reporting.

I have no issues with the legality or otherwise of Babcock decision, nor the hypocrisy of it.
I just think the school (our tertiary institutions in general) can do better in solving some of our social vices, religious places avoid you, schools expel you all because an immoral act was committed, if those two institutions can't reshape the one, then such soul might be a nuisance (probably a dangerous one) to those the institution see as morally right.

Babcock Alum here. Regarding social vices, are you aware that babcock allows drug users as long as they agree to undergo rehab from the schools counselling unit?

gcc hijacked the recruitment process, period.

How do you mean?

As a company that operates on Integrity, what could Total have done to reverse the outcome of this alleged "hijack"?

You do know though that iDevices dey catch Gono and and other diseases that you neither know of or get to hear off. It actually suffers more attacks than Droids

How is it boring? What do you do on android that you can’t do on iPhone apart from ringtone?

Lemme give you an example. I'm sort of a tech guy. Do a lot of stuff like downloading softwares (and 1080p/4K movies) on my phone that I need to move to a laptop or my home media server. On an android I just plug in a 256gb OTG flash drive and move large amounts of downloaded stuff. No need for laptop or any fancy tricks. On my iPhone I'm not even sure there is a download accelerator. I have a SanDisk 128gb OTG type of flash drive for iDevices. Everyday it's a trick trying to move files. I love the unrestricted nature of Androids and the attendant risk of catching Gono or Staph. Lemme be the one to decide if I want to catch them or if I want to protect myself
