Mama you are right about Zaynie. Imagine, I accidentally passed one of the party venues she was invited to and saw one woman crying by the side, I asked her what the problem was and she said Mama Zaynie has finished her food since she arrived.

I have been trying to console the woman ever since.

True oo I dey wan cry most times, I'll see food here and if I say make a try am, e no go still go down well with me but I'll just keep calm and form big gal and unto the next trial. Since the beginning of my pregnancy till date, the only water I can take is cold water very chilled I can't take any other water even when the weather is very cold. I don't think there is any side effect cos my baby is so hyper active and always kicking.

I don't even know who started this "pregnant women should not drink cold water ish..."the thing is so annoying cos ordinary water makes me throw up, that's how my Mum-inlaw will be shouting that cold water makes the baby hard and difficult to push during delivery, in my mind I'll like una go come take this belle carry

Life of a pregnant woman... Lol, I can relate! That's what used to happen to me early last month until one day after all my wasted tp and strength when I got there it has finished I had to googled how to prepare it on YouTube and now I'm free from such stress!

I don't see it as an issue self, it happened to me during my first pregnancy, and I had a very healthy pregnancy. The only issue is when u don't release gas within those poo free days, u might feel heavy and not comfortable. Also, body differs too, like myself I hardly go to the toilet everyday and some supplement that contains iron use to harden my stool. As long as u dey release fresh air everyday and not that u don't poo at all, u don't have issue. Just continue to be taking ur veggies and fruit and be drinking enough water. Happy waddling and safe delivery.

I will advise you take more of fibers,increase your intake of vegetables and take plenty of water,not pooing isn't healthy for healthy for pregnancy.Please change your eating pattern for just Nine months kpere.

Watermelons sis, watermelons to the rescue. During my first pregnancy, i buy watermelons, divide into 8 and refrigerate, so i take it first thing in the morning before eating. Then i poo freely.
Pls don't eat at night cos frequent urinations won't allow you enjoy your sleep.

Thanks sis for the quick response, the day I took watermelon I was feeling uncomfortable through out so I concluded it not good for me this pregnancy period so I don't know maybe I'll try again, as for not eating at night that means you want me to swallow DH while he's asleep, me that hunger will wake me midnight to go and eat, I pee like 3-4times at night same with drinking water sha so peeing at night is becoming a lifestyle my dear

Good evening waddling mamas and my dear October teamie please I need help on how to tackle this, I don't poo daily sometimes it's once in 3days like right now the last time was Saturday, it's star apple that used to help soften my system when I eat much but right now that kind fruit has gone extinct, and most other acidic fruits like orange disturbs me, cucumber is the only fruit that I take without problem but I doubt if it can help so please I need una help, thanks in anticipation!

No i do not think it does. Pregnant women crave cold things a lot. My friend who gave birth in the US said they gave her a very cold drinkwith ice when she went to the hospital.

My dear there's nothing of such. There's practically no relationship btw d water u drink or its temp wt blood clotting or labour/delivery. Water is basically for hydration & for body's metabolic processes. It goes thru d digestive tract after ingestion & there's no link btw d digestive tract & d reproductive system.
As much as it does not affect cramp, I'd like to say that cramp after delivery is not an anomaly. It's caused by d contraction of d womb in an attempt to return to its previous size & site. It's breastfeeding that rather has affect on cramps (cos of increased production of oxytocin) and it's beneficial in d long run.

Please what of during pregnancy does cold water have any negative effect?

Good evening house, please my fellow October team what are you people using to tackle nausea help a sister please or am I alone in this alone?

Have used everything I can lay my hands on ranging from gum, TomTom, ginger tea even bitter kola but in minimal quantity still it disturbs, I feel weak most times cos I don't eat much even when I eat small portion I'll feel like vomiting the next minute, what kind of life is this?
After using the little strength in me to prepare delicious meal I can't eat it

Try crackers first thing in the morning. The yellow and dry one.
Also agbalumo works wonders.
Get a big bottle of water with a tiny slice of lemon in it and sip all day.
Eat small meals often. Hunger makes the nausea work. So always have something to munch on in your bag. Chips, sandwich, puffpuff.
