Please I need solution on how to put my baby to sleep at night, since I gave birth on 16th I don't think have slept up to 24hrs if they join all my night sleep together, she sleeps peacefully in the day but in the night na war, I normally put breast in her mouth to use and sleep but if the breast pulls out cos of me falling asleep she'll wake with cry and this is frustrating |

BS part 3 We entered the road around 10pm after calling all the taxi number my husband has in his phone and all promised to be there in 5min but we didn't see and I was in pains we started waving any car that just pass and one decided to help us with extra charge, as soon as we got to the clinic the pains was unbearable the woman asked to examine me I decline cos the pain was too much I preferred to wait till around 8cm to be examine in my mind oh, that was how I was in pain till day break cos I was waiting for 2min contraction my mother in-law hear am cos I was always bouncing on her my hubby ran away cos he couldn't watch me in pains, fast forward 6am 16th the woman came and practically forced me to examine me and I was just 2cm dilated she was so happy and congratulate me that I'm lucky cos some people do feel cramps still cervix not dilated me I was angry asf that all those pains through out the night I'm just 2cm, I asked to go let me go shout my thing a home she said no that I need to be monitored my dear mamas that was how I stayed there with contraction till 3pm and I was just 4cm dilated I asked to be induced and it was done then the real show began, I was asked not to sit it either I stand walk about or lie down to avoid pressing the baby's head I observed all and discovered standing was my best option, if I lie down the pain will last like 7min but with standing just 2min so I ended up standing from 3pm till 15min to 6pm that I felt the urge to poo and at dot 6pm I heard the cry of my baby, let not forget to say while standing I was urinating constantly on my pant with path inside cos I couldn't walk to the loo, and pushing ministry wasn't funny at all cos I had supernatural strength a moment I heard push and my baby came out at 38weeks 5days weighing 3kg through vaginal birth without tear, may his name alone be highly praised, i pray for the remaining Oct mums your labour shall be smooth and free of complications and for the TTC mum soon God will surprise y'all I thank all the mamas that contributed here cos it really helped a ftm like me, please y'all should manage my typo and sorry for long story, manage my wack story like that cos motherhood isn't an easy job since Tuesday night I don't think have slept up to 24hrs sef. Cappo joomie Cc Zaynie BS submitted Over to the new born thread, see y'all in 2020 God's willing. 46 Likes |

Part 2 BS At third trimester I had the shock of my life, the goods my husband has been expecting since April hasn't been delivered so he travelled to Ogun state where the coy is located and discovered he has been duped to the tune of 6m he came back and was hiding it from me but I suspected something was wrong but he kept saying nothing till his little savings finished and we couldn't feed some days except his mum will bring things from the village, I ended up not doing scan cos there was no money, some days I'll go to ANC with just t-fair, I was tempted to beg online but shame no gree me, I stayed till 35th week I didn't buy a pin for my baby but God saw through my situation and the pregnancy was smooth all through no complications, no day was I rushed to the hospital cos of one issue or the other, no sickness whatever not even malaria, for that I return all the glory to God. At week 36 I was already tired and wished to offload, I started taking dates fruits followed by searching for all the signs of labour, I'll be observing my pant each time I pee for show, I climbed stairs the days I remember, I promised to start trekking when I clocked WK 38 at least every Sunday cos my church is like 15 to 20min trekking, so on the 14th of Oct I decided I'm going to trek to church but rain said otherwise so I step out to enter bike but none was in sight in fact the two sides of the road was crowded with people looking for bike so i jeje waddle my thing dey go, close of church hubby said I should wait let's see pastor for prayers after all the waiting pastor came and apologize that we should come back the next day then hubby started blaming me that I didn't go in on time to tell him we were waiting since he was busy with his unit meeting, we started arguing and I got more upset and told him I'm not going with him, he begged that we should pay bike and go but I was just looking for a way to punish him for blaming me so I told we must trek home, he just knew I was out for trouble and avoided any by trekking with me that was how I ended up trekking to and fro church and alas it was a blessing in disguise. On the 15th I woke up feeling strange but so energetic than have ever felt, baby kicking was intense as if something is happening inside the womb I told my Mum-inlaw and my hubby that I'm feeling somehow but they didn't take me serious, I couldn't stay one place I checked hospital bag again to confirm, it was remaining toothbrush and towel I locate them and went to pee and I saw something like milky discharge I didn't tell them cos I was waiting for the bloody one, then after like an hour I started feeling sharp pain I then told my mother in law that I should go to the hospital and compain she said she's coming with me I told her I'm strong enough to go alone but the poor woman insist oh,so we step out and this was around 2pm inside scorching sun you need to see the steps I was taking cos of the pains. On getting to the hospital nurses and their negligence started, you know govt hospital nah, cos there was no money I had to resort to using them, the ones I met in the labour ward were not taking me serious some even said where is the tummy that's due for labour, while the others were packing their bags telling me I should wait for afternoon shift people that their time is up, I stood there and they left one by one telling me I don't look like whose in labour, tears rolled down my cheek and my mother in law started praying oh in the middle of the road...lol, one woman gave me direction to one private clinic cos the cramps was getting intense I raced down there the woman was so nice she didn't even asked of my hospital bag I just explained my condition and what the nurses in the govt hospital did, she wore her cloves and prayed and asked of my medical history which I supplied, she then told me to climb for examination, she did the do oh and I shouted she told me it labour but the cervix isn't effaced but brought out the remaining mucus plug to show me, she said I can go and come back when I feel pains at the interval of 5min I then asked how long labour will start after show she said it varies that it can come two days or even after a week in some people but it a sign labour will soon start, that was how I raced back home feeling a bit relief but after few hours of getting home I started feeling pains again around 7pm I went to pee and wipe to see blood I was scared I called the woman she said if I'm not sure of any transport system if it gets late that I should start coming to avoid stories, my husband that likes sleep like no tomorrow started complaining that I should relax but when the contractions hit me and I pinch him he knew it was not a child's play...to be continued, breastfeeding things 36 Likes |

BS BS part 1. My pregnancy journey: I got married February this year and took in that same month so to the glory of God I did not have any issue trying to conceived, in fact to some extent I was not happy that it happened that early cos I was hoping to flex small but despite our caution God had his own plan. MS Palava: At exactly 8wks I was not the owner of myself, I woke up throwing up every morning, my system couldn't take in any food initially and I was losing weight, only my boobs were gaining weight and was so painful, most times I hold on to it while walking. It wasn't much before I discovered some relief to my ms courtesy of this thread, first cold water did the magic for me and I was so happy, even under heavy down pour I'll be drinking chilled blocked water my mum in-law talk tire that it delays labour I no send her. My next next discovery was fruits but the fruit own was in phases, I tried all kinds of fruits till I discovered the ones that my system could accept, first was star apple, I can consume a basket full of star apple to the point that every morning you'll see me dragging it with market women, one would be wondering if I have started fruit business and to worsen the matter my tummy was as flat as plate so nobody believes me even if I begged those women to sell for me that I'm pregnant, well I still managed to come back every day with my sack full of star apple without sending anyone. My next fruit was cucumber which was the bae of them all cos with cucumber I was always full, before after cooking for the rest of the house I will be watching them eat but with cucumber I was good to go, I could stay a whole day without food but fruits, I later discovered mango which I can buy one as costly as #200 then I switch to fresh corn and pear that will make me belge like goat after eating but I still continued anyway cos that was my craving, I threw up after eating all citrus fruits so I avoided them all like a plaque, basically through out the first trimester I was living on fruits. Fast forward to second trimester my taste bud was back, I was able to consume some citrus fruits in small quantity though, my energy was back too I began to act like I'm not pregnant, I'll wake up to eat in the middle of the night, all of a sudden I started hiding foods my husband will just be wondering when this stinginess started, I have cried severally all cos he forgot to buy a particular food I craved for, I have never fought in my entire life but I find myself fighting in the market all cos of a particular food I was craving for, If I'm eating groundnut and it falls inside a hole I must remove it oh, to the point my husband nephews were laughing me. All in all my second trimester was sweet except those normal pregnancy symptoms which I do come here to complain and mama Liftedhands and her team will tell me to romance my package and waddle dey go. 26 Likes |
