Hello, somebody should help me o, I am filling the form for Study permit outside Canada. I have some questions. 1, the cost of study abd Board, will this be for one year or two. Then do I add the amount of the fund the school has given me to the one my Uncle is giving me. eg 8, 000 CAN plus 10, 000 which Uncle is promising. Somebody help. Then the UCI in number one of the form, what do I fill there. Pls help urgent

Also what does designated learning institutions mean?

My resumption according to my letter is September 7, I intend deferring till January, what date do I provide in the duration of the programme. Should I fill Sept 7, 2016, start date to Sept, 2018, or Jan 2017 to Jan 2019. somebody pls help, I am filling the form.....

Pls professionals should advise me here o, very urgent. If I have a funding of 8, 000 CANADIAN dollars per annum, which covers tuition and my total expenses including accommodation, feeding and health insurance is around 12, 000 dollars, how much do I ask my sponsor to declare for me? Do I still ask him to declare the compulsory 10, 000 dollars in the required to get study permit. Pls somebody help, my sponsor wants to know.

Thanks, my I want to include my pension account which is around 300, 000k because there is nothing in my salary account. My salary is small and I have four kids already, even though I do some other part time teaching in secondary schools to sustain ourselves. Besides, I have a car worth 600, 000 naira just bought, but the problem here is that I have not done a change of ownership, there is no proof to be presented. I feel if I do the necessary paper on the car now, won't the appear suspicious to the VO? Pls someone advise. Thanks

With your US travel history and work experience, your chances for Canadian study permit is high. As par work permit, your study permit authorises you to work in Canada. Choosing your uncle as sponsor is fine but try to include a proof of relationship (even though you both have same surname), and include your financial statement too.

Hello guys, I want somebody to help me on this: With funding from MUN covering Tuition and other educational dues, aside from accommodation and feeding, including travelling expenses, if I use my pension account running to K300, 000 without salary statement of account and having my Uncle, same saw name as my sponsor, how good am I to go? My salary account has no savings. As I said earlier, I work as a journalist. Thank you all.

Hello fellow friends on the thread, I need your advice urgently as I am about applying for my student permit. I was offered admission by MUN, MA in Linguistics with funding. My first question is how good am I with my uncle with same saw name choosing to be my sponsor? Equally I am a Fulbright scholar, taught at a university in US. How bright is my chance of securing the permit with all these. Also, I am working at a newspaper company as a Chief Correspondent, read English in Undergraduate. Your answer please.

Hello people on this lovely website. I am a new user who though has been following the trend here. I want to say I have been very much impressed by the testimonies, suggestions, pieces of advice as well as revelations many of you guys have posted. I feel Nigerians are more united here than elsewhere. Just a pity our government and leaders have handed us these predicaments we are facing. How come our visas will have to be stamped in Ghana rather than Nigeria, the far larger country? Anyway, I am not here to address all these, but to greet all of you and start asking my questions as the needs arise. I have applied to MUN for a MASTER'S DEGREE IN LINGUISTICS, though I studies English at my First Degree level. My admission has been post poned till Fall 2017 because I just submitted my application. I will, tomorrow post the statement from my department for you guys to weigh and tell if I have hope of being eventually admitted then because I was not given a categorical statement as per the admission.
