Am going for Business Administration (Sustainability and International business)
Documents submitted (online application)

1) letter of acceptance from the university
2) Receipt payment of acceptance fee $7500
3) Statement of account (N8m) plus my fixed deposits(N2m)
4) Letter of support frm my sponsor (cousin) who resides in canada +his bank statement
5) Employment letter, Letter to show my last salary review and payslips
6) Marriage certificate
7) letter of support frm my spouse
cool SOP
9) Credentials
10) Property document (Land)
Teleayomi, if these are all the documents you submitted, you partially caused your delay o. You claim to have valid US VISA without submitting the visa page. This, to VOs, is hiding information. Again if you claim in your SOP that you are married with two kids without submitting birth certificates of your children, they might have seen you as insincere because there should be documents to confirm you truly have children. They want to see certificates that summarise all you claim. Pls think of these.
11) Life Assurance Policy Document
12) Certificate of registration for my business

Yes, he has, I think CIC is just relaxing with our applications, knowing we are resuming in January. They feel no need for rushing. My opinion sa.

Thanks for your contributions on this forum. It has helped a lot. Unfortunately my application was refused on Friday 30th Sept. Reason no family ties even though am a mature student with husband and 2 kids here in naija and travel history. That un a way baffles me cos i have travelled to the uk like 3 times in the last 2 years +I have a valid US visa. I have requested for the GCMS note thru my cousin in canada cos I would like to reapply.

I have made a tuition deposit of $7500 to the school. Please do I need to inform the school at this point that my trv was refused.

Also, I will be travelling to the US in Nov for 5 weeks. Can I reapply from there as av checked the processing time which is 4 weeks.

Please I urgently need your advise. GOD bless you all.
Sorry o Madam, pls refire and don't be discouraged. Get the GCMS note to know the actual reasons. But did you submit marriage certificate and birth certificates of your kids? Then what level of study? Again, were you once denied visa to any country which you didn't disclose, or did you overstay in any of the countries without cogent reasons. Pls proffer answers to all these and let us at least throw some guesses

yes i understand that, just asking so i have a clear idea of what I'm doing since I'm partially going to sponsor myself, that's why im looking for a very affordable school, going to leave a banking job for this if its works out so I just want to be totally convinced, about the region. How about the application, do they delay with decisions and did u have to send documents to canada or u did everything online.
About the chance of getting job in the region, you can embark on extensive browsing to get any information. But as per application, I did everything online. Search for you department, contact any lecturer there and ask him or her questions as per admission. Then you are good to go.

congrats on your admission and funding. What's the MUN application process like, want to apply for fall 2017. Seems MUN is cheap, going for computer science. U think Newfoundland is worth it in terms of job opportunities for students and graduates?
I do not know anything about job opportunities, but what I know is that after your study there, you can easily relocate to another region. You do not need another visa to do that. People worry much about job opportunities here in Nigeria when they have not got TRV. Why not get there first and sort your life out with research and questions later

Was delayed today after 8weeks. Applied online.
My advice to those from West Africa. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY ONLINE. These guys are going to refuse youno matter what.

Take paper route.

Was delayed due to Insufficient funds after I have showed more than 100,000usd in ma uncles and mom's accnt. Too sad. But am gonna refire via Paper.
Hello Bros, sorry for the delay, can you let the house know what you applied for, and the documents you submitted in order to offer useful suggestions. There is no problem beyond remedy. Pls do not be discouraged. I know it is painful. Pls share and let us be of assistance.

ok,thanks and to @mikymiko thanks,as you said it's very competitive,na MEng in my field i wan collect there,no be everybody get head to read engineering. i no dey struggle the competitive courses and funds with canadians and other int'l students cheesy
MichV, Let me hint you of the need to gather all documents relating to commendation from age one of your career. Don't leave any documents behind o. If you are the best in any subject in the university list that and let them know. Then make sure you specialise in the areas you passed most in the university. By these and with your intention to be thesis-based, you can get funding which invariably can make your TRV easy.

Thank you. I'm going for research based LLM at Dalhousie University.
I submitted the following documents :

the necessary CIC application forms
Letter of funding from school
Bank statement from my sponsor
Admission letter from school
Letter of sponsorship from my sponsor
Introduction Letter from my sponsor 's place of work
My employment letter
Pay slips for 6 months

I did upfront medical, submitted my passport upfront as well but was asked to get another passport since the old one would expire next year.

God just helped me, that's the bottom line. It is not of him that willeth nor of him that runneth. All the glory to God for his faithfulness!
Ayeyemi pls when did you submit and is your funding full, and what is the amount in your sponsor's account. Pls we need the details for some of us too. Thanks

for those who got admitted or have applied to memorial university of Newfoundland, do they require IELTS or any form of English test from international students in Nigeria.Though i have mailed them for some necessary concerning information.
cc:Ajayi4 et al..
MichV, no. All you need to do is get a letter of proficiency from your university here in Nigeria that the language of instruction is English. Not more than this.
