EducationSujimoto And Dencia Promises – ‘I Got Nothing At All From Them’ - Ayodele Daniel by AjayiWrites(op): 5:36pm On Jun 06, 2016
Remember Ayodele Daniel Dada, the genius who graduated with a 5.0 CGPA from the University of Lagos?

He is dishing details about how he was able to achieve the feat; graduating with the best result in recent history, and the national recognition that followed afterwards. He also revealed that all those who promised to help him get a luxury apartment in Lagos never did so.

Recall that Daddy Freeze called on top companies and telecoms to come to the young graduate’s aid after he learned that Dada’s rent had expired. Days later, the OAP wrote an elaborate post, confirming that Sujimoto Construction Company had promised to take care of the graduate’s shelter.

“I just got off the phone with @sujimoto81 who was very enthusiastic about @ayodeledanieldada and in his exact words he said “Never again in the history of this country would the talent of a young man/lady be left without helping him attain it’s full potential,” Daddy Freeze said back then.

“Earlier on, I read that@iamdencia offered to help with his rent,” the OAP added.

However, Dada says he got nothing from Sujimoto and the singer Dencia, even though Nigerians had praised and thanked them for offering to help the young graduate out.

“No, I haven’t, at all,” he told Ebuka Obi-Uchendu in new episode of Rubbin Minds.

socialmediaman:
Nigerians are creative and hard working people. If they had half the incentives and opportunities available in developed nations, they will go places, that's why they're envied in places they're found all over the world except in their home countries. Imagine that Nigerians are being employed into top companies in US, UK etc because of their ingenuity, people who would ordinarily unemployed in their home country.. Their strengths and wisdom are remarkable, they only need more opportunities lacking in Nigeria. Let's put more pressure on government to do more. How many social security and intervention program bills have our legislators passed since office? They're more worried about limiting the powers of CCT for their benefits, they're more worried about frivolities etc. let's come together and put pressure on them, all of them. The Buhari led government needs to do more for Nigerians, they need ingenious people who are creative and can deliver services to the people. They need to empower people to create wealth for themselves and employ others, not the 10billion/yr YouWin project, I'm Talking like investing 1 trillion a year empowering 100,000 businesses with 10 million each to create up to 2 million jobs. I'm talking about investing 300 billion training professionals abroad on Technology, Engineering, Agriculture technology, Business Revolution etc and investing in them to create jobs. We need more from our leaders and we must come together to Put that pressure on them.
Have you heard of creating opportunities even when opportunities didn't come? My gross with the youths is that we tend not to think outside the box, that A did something and made an headway doesn't mean its gonna work for you. What about the tenacity of a Nigerian, but we seem to have given in to blackmail and lazyness, when I finished from NYSC, jobs didn't come asap but I got doing something, and to God be the glory, what I am doing to put food on the table is not what I studied in school, not even close to it all, what of self discovery, must we blame govt for everything? We lay claim to develop countries like US, UK etc, have you ever read that the govt provide everything for them? yes we have our challenges, yes we have corruption to handle and a whole lot, but have you thought to making an headway using that moment, Ymodulus used to say, use your present condition to create an opportunity for yourself (emphasis and interpretation using mine)

Are we really winnig against Boko Haram? Your thought
PoliticsFreed Hostages Say Boko Haram Lacks Weapons by AjayiWrites(op): 4:21pm On Feb 10, 2016
Two Cameroonian hostages who managed to escape from Boko Haram captivity in Nigeria have returned to Cameroon. They say the insurgent group used them and hundreds of others in a camp to loot and kill.Former hostage 32-year old Gaullaume Minka said he was taken to Nigeria along with 7 other men by 15 heavily armed suspected Boko Haram fighters who seized their transport bus near the northern Cameroon town of Kousseri on the night of January 23. He said he knew he was in Nigeria because their captors spoke English and Kanouri, languages spoken in northern Nigeria.

He said while in Nigeria, he and the others were told they would be freed only if $4,000 was paid by their families or the government or if they themselves went out and stole the money.

Gaullaume said they were chained by their legs for two weeks. They could only have a meal on a day when some of the captives succeeded in stealing cattle, rice and other livestock. When some Nigerian and Cameroonians held in captivity were taken out from the camp to steal, he decided to escape into the forest with Sylvian Nradim, another Cameroonian held in captivity. They were later found in the forest by Cameroonian soldiers and taken to the town of Maroua after identification and handed to the governor of far north Cameroon, Midjiyawa Bakari.

Sylvian Nradim said that while in captivity they were given machetes to use in attacking people.

Last month Cameroon government spokesman Issa Tchiroma Bakary said about 5,000 cows and smaller animals have been stolen since the country started fighting Boko Haram three years ago. He said that Boko Haram's fire-power had been weakened since then and the group was now resorting to kidnapping people.
