tensazangetsu20: Six months to a year. Sweden is very okay but much more expensive than Chile. Universities in Sweden are at least 20000 euros per year and that's just for tuition. You still have to sort out your proof of funds and the visa is not assured. You can do everything right and still be denied a visa. That 20000 euros in Chile will take you to university of Chile or pontifica catholica which are the best universities in south America and Chile and both universities are in the top 200 in the world.
I think if you can afford Sweden, you shouldn't be thinking of Chile. Chile is an alternative for people with not much money and is a solid transit point to any country.
For instance, in Chile you can get permanent residency after your program. 3 years on permanent residency and you can be a citizen. With a Chilean passport you can work in Canada without needing an LMIA and work in the US on a H1B1 visa which is just for chileans and singaporeans. You can also visit both countries without needing a visa. Chilean citizens only need to live in Spain for two years to get Spanish citizenship. Once you can get Spanish citizenship you can work anywhere in the EU especially in the much richer places like Switzerland or Luxembourg. Chileans rarely take advantage of any of these programs. For instance chileans have been exempt from LMIA in Canada since 1997 due to the Chilean Canadian trade agreement and there's still less than 30000 chileans in Canada. They don't migrate there. Also for H1B1, singaporeans use up their spots more than chileans. Chileans don't apply for it since most of them can't speak English.
Chile is a very solid stepping stone to anywhere in the world once you get the passport and is not too expensive or popular yet. This might just be the pivotal point In few years we go don full Chile😃😃😃 |

yMcy56: NASCON: If NASCON can cross the 40 marks today, then the post merger price may likely be juicy be that.... * Pls don't take my comment for it......just stating my observation*
* GSK: on full bid @8.90...... How much can this Coy possibly offer as buy-out Price?
** Most trades on GSK are cross deals!! Make dem allow people to sell on the floor as well na Is it advisable to buy NASCON at this point |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Ajibade123(m): 1:54pm On Aug 04, 2023 |
yMcy56: Many factors could be responsible for this.
In the case of NASCON, it was owned by another company but not doing so well, so Dangote bought it over some years back and change the story of the company for good. - it was listed before Dangote aquired it, so he left it to be running separately from Dangsugar, which was also listed separately then.
Now, Alhaji is planning to merger all food companies since he can't come and list DANGRICE separately as well....... * Merging all food chains will create more value for him, the shareholders and the economy at large.
My understanding of it. Wow Thank you |

tensazangetsu20: I was in Brazil yesterday and Brazil is a very amazing country. Studying in Brazil is completely free and there's a Brazilian university in the top 100 in the world the university of Sao Paulo. If you are in tech, Brazil is a major tech hub. All major large tech firms from Google down to Salesforce have a large engineering presence in Brazil. South america is also very easy to get papers after studies compared to Europe except Finland before they changed it sha. Why Chile, why not Brazil Is there any specific reason you didn't consider it? |

yMcy56: The name will change to DANGFOODS and you'll be alloted the proportional shares based on the merger conversion and based on the stock you have (either Dangsugar, NASCON or DANGRICE. I wonder since they all belong to the same parent company why were they listed on the stock exchange differently before?? |

Babanla2356: Hello everyone, I am a Nigerian who was studying in Ukraine before the war broke out. I left Nigeria on the 5th of January 2022 and I applied for my temporary residence permit (povidska) in Ukraine before the war started in which the immigration authority gave me a proof that I applied. So after the invasion I left Ukraine and headed to Germany when I arrived in Germany I contacted the immigration authority and tell them about my case that I am a Nigerian national studying in Ukraine I submitted all the Ukrainian documents I have with me and applied for a residence permit after a month I got a response from them that my application has been accepted and I should come to their office, when I got there I was issued a fictional certificate (Fiktionbeschenigung) which was only valid for 6 months. After then the district started paying for my house rents, health insurance, enrolled me in a language school and I was receiving social benefits. A month before my fictional certificate expires I received a letter from the foreign authority that I should go back to Nigeria that longer protection is only for Ukrainian citizens that Nigeria is a safe country. I told them that I would like to continue my studies in Germany and I send them the paperworks of the language school I’m currently attending and they still insisted that is not a proof not to go back to Nigeria and they rejected my residence permit application, they stopped all the social benefits I was receiving and they gave me a month to appeal the decision at the court which I did. Learning the language was so easy for me because I attend the school everyday and I will get my B1 certificate this July and I also have an apprenticeship position right now as a Plant mechanic for heating and plumbing and I have received the apprenticeship contract. I sent the contract to the foreign authority they still said no that I have to return to Nigeria and I apply for an apprenticeship visa in Nigeria but the case is still at the court but I don’t know when the court is gonna decide because it’s getting late, the apprenticeship starts in August. I wanna ask if there is anyone that has been in this situation before or any Nigerians here living in Germany that know how the system works that can advice me on what to do. Please move it to Front page @lalasticlala @Seun @justwise Please I want to ask something How was living in Ukraine like before the war, were their citizens nice? |

kernniejay: Using cooking gas to power a gasoline (petroleum) generator is not just risky but also deadly! No manufacturer of those generator will ever specify that gas can be used as alternative fuel. But in Nigeria, we know better and we are smarter than the manufacturers, there is nothing we don't by pass or take for granted and we are fond of re-designing machines and equipment to suit our madness here. Don't just speculate give reasons why it is like that Even in advanced countries experimentations produces theory |
