Mcy56: I missed out "print it" in my response to you...
- Download the Form, print it out, fill the printed copy with pen and scan it back in JPEG. - When you want to scan, place your passport in the passport column, it would be scanned together with the form. - After scanning, name the file and upload (attach it) in your email reply to Morgan, attach other required docs as well, then - Send. Thanks a lot I really appreciate |

These are what I noticed.
-- I was the only one that used scarf.Even the choristers and the female ministers didn't use scarf.
--Almost all the female members are putting on trousers, ladies that put on gowns/skirt are not up to 20%. I was even surprised that the two female ministers and the female choristers also put on trouser to climb the church alter.
--During prayer intersection,I noticed everybody were praying in tongues and it seems am the only person not filled with the holy spirit to speak in tongues. Even when we were asked to pray on our offering, people still prayed in tongues.
And it just seems I'm odd among them or is it that am not modernized? It student area na |

Career › Re: Understanding The Japa Syndrome And What It Portends For Nigeria by Ajibade123(m): 6:54pm On Jun 23, 2023 |
Dogalmighty17: THERE has been a rather marked loosening of immigration controls by most Western governments in the last decade. A great number of our intellectuals, skilled peoples and professionals in Nigeria have moved out or are planning to do so for a promise of a better life. That's fair.
As much as it appears as if the West has opened its doors, the underlying truth is shocking.
Anyone who has undergone a rudimentary economics class will of course have fair knowledge of what is called a tax base. You need a vibrant working population that can be taxed to run an economy. Most Western economies however, are running into a demographic time bomb. They are facing an aging population and a lesser number of young people in the workforce. The greater number of the aged puts pressure on the social welfare blanket. With fewer young people paying into these social welfare programs, with fewer young people carrying out economic activities, the social safety net gets depleted faster.
When an economy grows to a certain size, it needs a certain population figure that must be sustained otherwise everything crumbles. The death rate in the West is greater than its birth rate. Japan is already panicking. China recently reversed its 1 child policy. The damage however may appear to have been done. They won't wait for their population to grow because it is impossible at this point. It is faster to import immigrants.
Furthermore, an aging Western population needs healthcare professionals. They do not have enough young people going into these fields. Even worse, the performance of young people in STEM courses across the West, has been dropping. Recent US test scores is an example.
So what does the West do? They resort to 'siphoning' professionals all across Africa and Nigeria is a major focal point.
The West is drawing the best out of Nigeria. Indeed they are hollowing us out. It is slavery 2.0. It will get worse. The West will keep incentivising our best to come over and Nigeria will keep suffering as a result.
In effect, Nigeria has no hope of advancement. Not when the West is ready to absorb the best we produce. It is not their fault however. Our government and their incompetence are the cause. Show proof that their death rate is higher than birth rate |

Interim is not always big like final Dividend o, but it's something too. 0.20k was paid last year. We don't know how much it will be this year.

yMcy56: You know what I'll suggest for you as a newbie? Buy UBA or ACCESS or DANGSUGAR
* If market goes down, you have your interim and final Dividends to hold body till the price correct or adjust itself back. * If market goes up, all well and good, you'll get capital appreciation as well as your dividends. * If market goes down, it will only present you with opportunity to buy more at cheaper price to average down your cost price.
Loco suggested Interbrew, well, if you so wish, you could pick some units if you think you don't want to miss out of the anticipated rally (if it occurs).
Try and surf thru some past pages of this thread, you'll learn one thing or the other that could make you better as an investor.......and, don't hesitate to ask questions if you have any. when is UBA dividend? |

yMcy56: Thanks boss. Oga Emma is a long term investor, so he chooses his portfolio items carefully......so it's understandable.....but he also needs to consider others who are day/swing traders while making his assertions.
That's one of the reasons I don't want to mention it initially when it started the movement from circa 44k or so.
Any banking stock below N1 is dirt cheap (in his voice) in my opinion.
If stocks with no result could be delivering over +100%, I wonder what we'll say about an established and active banking stock. Selling below N1. How many cent is that?
Besides, JAIZ and UNITY used to be in same league and move together. If JAIZ is approaching N2 now, I don't see UNITY still sitting or sleeping below N1.
With the new regime, banks are in for a good time.....at least so far that we've seen.
** Pls Note that I am not marketing UNITY. Mr. Market will take care of it as it's been doing since it started @44k. DD as always** Seems you don't do long term? |
