Even with right mentality and understanding I read about some trader who made money in bets and went to currency/stock market for pride sake and still made more money.
Arguably there are some similarity between good gamblers and professional trading (pls don't misquote me for many with gambling problems) for example John Law(Mississippi stock delusion in 17th century from the book crowd madness and delusion: Charles Mackay) was professional gambler who understands economic and maths very well put the France as country economic chaos after the bubble burst of his company.
Another trader with consumate study of market with bet/gambling analysis is Ed sekoyta.

Great response. And this boils down again to what I was talking about boss mi. Look at usdchf, @saxy4c did not post chart. You did and just by looking at your chrt which is your view of the pair. One will say yes, it is a good call. But if you try to zoom to daily, weekly and monthly, it's clear to me based on my own view that the level will give way and break lower. So the fact that you posted your chrt does not mean it validates the call. But the call alone helps because it will make me to check my chart as well to see if I am willing and ready to risk it or let go.

Considering the fact that it just hit a strong support on the weekly chart, I think it best to buy the current retracement now and set ur stop loss at 0.8945 region. On the long term it's bull market to me.

Definitely bull but the volatility is the concern you know. When 1hr candle can bring 200pips+ moves. You see that's extraordinary.

When one have a sound knowledge of a particular market, volatility always look like high way to wealth, but in case of wrong analysis or mistake ,na pain and anguish personified.

Iran vs USA Is obviously a win for USA. But when Russia and China support Iran. It most likely wil be stalemate with lots of losses in both camps.
Not a good time to trade oil and go to bed.

Which Ever way the war goes it be bull for oil price because the whole of the middle East will be unstable, surely Saudi Arabia and Israel is already behind USA , Don't forget the region is already fragile considering Saudi Arabia place a Economic blockage on Qatar(major oil producer) which are backed by Iran and Turkey. The region is already sitting on keg of gun powder.i believe strongly the escalation will be bull for oil.
