What an endless quest of 3 months and 2 weeks . $200k evaluation challenge passed, making it total of $350k for TFT account, it would have been a total allocation of $550k if MFF did not close, in all, all glory be to thy lord.. This account really stress me cuz of Max drawdown of 6%, was risking only 0.35%..

It's selling for me,and have being on the position since last week,just added another position.
If you are using a strategy of moving averages maybe buying but price action,trend line, Elliot wave strategies will be selling right now.
I saw the bullish candle on weekly chart truly but as we speak selling.
Don't forget even inside bullish weekly candle you may have like 50/50 bullish and bearish candle at the end of the week so paying attention to price at any point in time matters.

It's also not very volatile

Sincerely, I don't like the push down gold is doing, currently running 190 pips. Based on the quoted, this means I will not be able to tap down with another short position which was closed earlier.

I'm hoping that I can see a big news released to come bullish atleast, once that happens: I will knock it with another 0.5 lot. If that does not happen, so be it - I will continue this already running position till next week.

Seems your retracement is finally coming afterall.

Unrelated to fx, ard 2021 and early 2022 period, I looked at charts and did some analysis on Nigerian stocks like Jaiz Bank, UBA and the likes of Ftn cocoa and chams.

Now, all these stocks have done well but most will yield you a net loss on your investment in the end

If you bought Jaiz bank at 0.6 naira in June 2021 and sold today at 1.65 naira, you have incurred a loss, even though price has risen by 2.6x, which is fantastic.

As at 2021, naira to dollar rate was N 420

Today, we are hovering around N 1200

To break even in terms of dollars with a 5% profit, you need the stock you bought to have risen by 3* the price within 2 years

If anybody advises you stock market anything naira, show them this maths.

Better to buy gold or save in dollars

Your analysis are very correct,but that is purely because of inflation and naira loosing ground again dollars very fast.
I think saving dollar is good but gold is cyclical.

Try to follow very strict money management.
It will help you to improve but it won't save the account.
If you can find a mentor,it will save you alot of pain and agony.

believe you will agreed with me that it's the fundamentals(news) that always move the candles and charts that we focus on every trading day.

I believe gold will gap up at market opening today.
My own opinion is the war is just starting going by what we saw in the news, Lebanon (Hezbollah) had supported and launch an offensive at Israel around Sheba farms.
Recall that they are the 2nd in holding gold reserves after Saudi Arabia in middle East.
Egypt had already attacked and killed 2 isreali tourist in Egypt in addition to Iran supporting Hamas(Palestine).

It's a sure bet that Isreal will respond accordingly to all this attacks.

Interesting weeks ahead as I believe gold market in the Middle East will be slightly not accessible in the coming weeks which inturn create some demand in gold market.
The West have many investor of Jewish origin who may want to turn quickly towards safe haven assets like gold,silver, Swiss franc etc.
I believe strongly in a gold rising quickly.

Which means that had I not secured some Profits, I would have lost totally!

Placed a trade and used Trailing Stop Loss to Manage my Trade. My New Stop loss got hit after doing like 3R but then Price still went ahead to hit the Full TP.

Question I have is: Is it better to manage trades by using Shifting Stoploss or we should just leave it like that??

What happened to you is called whipsawing,it part and passle of the market.
Basically no body can give you a precise answer on this excerpt yourself.
Backtesting and staying loyal to risk management will in most cases keep you afloat.

All in all shifting your stoploss will encourage indispline at least for a beginner.
