one thing i can say is that SE states apart from ebony and abia the rest is doing very well and soon APGA will take over the rest so that the people can feel the diffidence of APGA, now all the erosion site in anambra soon they will start work on it gov obi visit the place and commence work to start on it after raining season check this out

Residents of Onitsha went into jubilation, Wednesday, following the commencement of the dredging of the Sacomori flood channel which was responsible for the flooding of many areas of the town. The project to be financed by the Federal Government is estimated to cost about N1.3 billion.The flood channel meant to flow through the Nwangene river and empty into the River Niger, had been blocked over the years resulting in massive floods in the town.
When Governor Peter Obi visited the site yesterday, many residents expressed joy at the development and commended government for embarking on the project.
Some of them said although they have lived in Onitsha for many years, they never knew that the several kilometers of the channel measuring over 20 meters deep existed in the area as the entire stretch was completely blocked with debris.

@POST

I do not know the motivating factors that spurred the author to write the piece. However, I tend to agree with the author on certain issues raised. If the author is genuinely real, he or she would have highlighted major economic infrastructures painfully missing in Alaigbo that leverage business activities in other regions. Ndigbo would have stayed home in the east if there were functional gateways out of Nigeria in the region. Since such economic amenities are pitifully lacking in east, Ndigbo had no options but to swim along the deceitful jargon such as One-Nigeria.
^^^
EXACTLY no good roads for transportation of good,no sea port in fact  no infrastructure  in place for igbos in SE so if the region lacks all these amenities and a country like Nigeria which their is nothing good to talk about you can see why,

Nice post.

I agree with their call for federalism. A constitutional conference would be wonderful.
Indeed. It is a good idea, but it should come out of federal funds, not state funds.
you are right i hope it becomes reality cool

hmmm well he is right igbos don't need to build big Manson and hotels in the north they rather build ware houses just for business and then carry the money and build estates and apartments in SE at list we were fixing our roads in SE with our own cash some private roads were fix by business people, same as housing estates private estates  and plazas hotels industries markets all build by igbos in the SE no help from anybody.I think those ones in northern Nigeria should start selling fast for their own good,
