ilugunboy: That is the surest bet for APC......

Locking down the NW...NE....SW zones and garnering impressive outcome in three states in the NC is as good as a done deal..

That surely won't lead to any run-off elections.

Sarcoc: Like most things in life you will only be fully convinced once you ve tried it and not before. I have lived in the UK for near 15 years and have met various people in that time.

My advise - stay steady in Nigeria and you are by far better off. If you and your family can raise £9-15k for your tuition I will strongly suggest that you invest it in a good business. If u are not an entrepreneur get a good job invest then money in say land for instance and you will be onto a winner.

I ve advised a few ppl to go this way but they all end up in the Uk weeks later. I suspect you will do same too but you will surely remember reading this down the line.

Just to portress my point further, I am relocating back to Nigeria next year by God's grace. Oh just to add I am a full UK citizen by birth but still feel this way and can tell you that it is worse for none citizens.
oga keep hthis nonsense to yourself......

op,pls anwser these few questions:

1.do you have a person that you believe can accomodate you comfortable temporarilly
2.life in london can be a bit expensive but other city like leiceter city is ok
3.op the bottom line is that wen you start to work, try to send a little money down here for investment, the more the stupidity of this country is increasing the more it favours the smart onces sending money back home....
today 1 pound=260,tommorrow it is 270.it hardly ever comes down....dats ur advantage, suffer, starve urself there just to squeze pounds for investment.

[quote author=♥Dεs•Chγκσ♥]". My house rent alone costs me N84,000 per year, aside from the contributions of my housemates. It is true that electricity is always on, but we pay dearly for it. In a three-bedroom flat occupied by four of us, we utilize about N360,000 yearly on electricity. Even my feeding alone costs an average of N220,000 (more than) yearly at a rate of N600 daily or more. My spendings on airtime for transactions and data costs about N200 daily, making more than N72,000 yearly."

1.but in coker where i stay,we pay 450,000 per year for a 3 bedromm flat.we even got one of the cheapest house.
2.a plat of food in coker here is 300 naira permeal in buker and about 450 naira in a fair resturant.
3.a lot of us here use more than 200 naira per day to recharge our phones.

manny4life: I'm trying to stay away from this argument but I will try.

The Federal Inland Revenue Service also known as FIRS is the agency responsible for collecting Oil and Non-oil tax receipts, they are the revenue generating system of the FG, in the U.S., they would be called the the IRS or the Internal Revenue Service. When taxes are collected, they are deposited into the federation account, from that account and like the oil derivation, the money is divided amongst the 36 states, it's LGA's, FCT, and federal govt. I do not have the actual sharing formula but you get the idea. For instance, VAT accrues to the federation purse and NOT the federal purse, hope you understand. That is the FAAC allocation that governors go to Abuja to collect.
does firs also collect the money gotten from crude oil sales?
if no,the money gotten from crude oil sales is it recorded in the budget partly or wholly.

are u trying to say that the money given to state are not included in the fg budget?
Politics › Re: Okonjo-Iweala To Present 2014 Budget To National Assembly by AK481(m): 12:58am On Dec 19, 2013
manny4life: @AK48,

There you go, these are your good answers, although some of the numbers you quoted are absolutely WRONG.

For instance 80% accounting for our revenues is wrong o, rather 80% accounts for our FOREX which has declined since we're gradually exporting some agricultural products. Thanks for the new terminals opening after completion, Nigeria may well position herself to compete in the agricultural export business.
Thsi is not a resonable answer.

Why is our entire budget less than common firs revenue?
Politics › Re: Okonjo-Iweala To Present 2014 Budget To National Assembly by AK481(m): 12:56am On Dec 19, 2013
CFCfan: @AK48: Only 60% of the oil revenue goes to the federation account. The rest goes to the multinational oil companies, who are joint-venture partners with the NNPC.
Dat still didn't ansa why only the firs revenue is bigger than our entire budget.remember frsc pay into fedration account.

Remember the I simply used" 80 of our revenue. "Statement obviously in inline with the 60% joint venture with oil company.

Pls make me understand.

excess crude account is the biggest fraud in the history of mankind.
the total budget of nigeria is 4.3 trillion naira, the questions people are not asking are:

1.the firs boasted last 2 year that they currently collected 4.62trn naira and hope to increase it to 5trn naira in the comming years..www.punchng.com/business/business-economy/fg-made-n4-62tn-from-taxes-in-2011-firs/

2.the nigerian dont produce much, the implecation in the we are ''importation dependent nation'',the positive information there is that the custom makes a huge amount of money which is also put back in the government purse...about 900bn naira..http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/03/customs-2012-revenue-boosted-by-n90bn-underpayments-abdullahi/

3.oil;this is undoubtably the bigest source of our income,it account for more than 80 percent of our total revenue http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/protecting-nigeria-s-revenue-through-crude-oil-hedging/120055/

doing the maths,if 20% is 6trn naira,80 =24.meaning that the actual ammount nigeria makes from crude annually is close to 24trn naira.now 24+6=30trn naira.

common sense should tell us that our budget is about 30trn naira and not 4.sumtin trn.

how can only firs revenue be equated to our entire budget?

because of the naija flavor in it.

The truth is that nigerians are wonderful and talented people who love their own first and others later,no nigeria by default in his right senses prefer the white man's stuff to its own.bt wen there is obviously no competition or close substitute to foreign goods, people begin to say "nigerian nont patronise locally made goods"

Gombs: Mr Reyginus, the next question is for N5million ....You have 50 50, phone Kunle, or ask the audience.

Why was Peter carrying a sword when Jesus was to be arrested?

(A) because he wss a butcher
(B) he was an agbero
(C) he was a thief
(D) he was carrying it as a body guard

Goodluck
None,and a nonsense question.

Peter never went there with a sword,he drew it out from one of the soldiers to cut off another one's ear.
