reason for the drop of the dollar is because most niger, benin republic and cameroun bdc trader are sneeking into our boarder and selling the dollars,so there is now an increase in the supply in the dollar.the sad news is the the gain they made wont be spent here in nigeria.

Fashion › Re: Made In Biafra Shoe Spotted In A Lagos Market by AK481(m): 5:29pm On Feb 03, 2016 |
pharmagba: although I can never support biafra, I think it a good idea if the shoes were actually manufactured in Nigeria, As a business man and a product development and sales expert, I feel the manufactures have shot themselves in the foot by writing Biafra. With that the shoe will never be accepted by all and can never reach it full market potential, hence one of the objective of business profit and growth will be lost also loss may occur to any investor. I'll rather suggest they write made in Nigeria for now, and keep the biafra to their chest yet, with this they get backing even fed govt and even opportunity to export abroad, then even if biafra comes, which I strongly doubts, they already have a market and a brand which they can ride upon. Look for instance it has to be taken to Lagos, that is to tell you people not in support of biafra will reject it. Same will happen in Kano and other places not favored to biafra. THEY WONT PRODUCE FOR THE WHOLE NIGERIA,while others will be indifferent to this, the south easterners will boys it in mass, thats ok. the producers will also produce for and others without the biafre logo |

Education › UNN Is Number 1 In Nigeria And 14th In Africa by AK481(op): 9:22am On Jan 28, 2016 |
WEBOMETRICS just released its December 2015 ranking of Top 2000 Universities in the world based on their Google Scholar Citation profiles[First Edition (December 2015)]. It is my pleasure to inform you that UNN came 1st in Nigeria, 14th in Africa and 1389th in the world. As a matter of fact, less than 30 African Universities were ranked. Also, only UNN and University Ibadan were ranked from Nigeria, a pointer to the overall poor quality of academic publications from most Nigerian universities. Hence, our collective efforts are paying off and UNN is now counted amongst the best in the world. We are now reaping the dividends of increased publications by UNN staff in high impact and visible journals. However, we are still a long way from getting into the top five in Africa. But it is achievable, if we intensity our publications in high impact visible journals that can be accessed and cited from all over the world. http://www.webometrics.info/en/node/169http://www.unn.edu.ng/world-ranking-based-on-impact-of-publications-unn-is-no-1-in-nigeria-and-14-in-africa-2/LALASTICALA come and see oo,my school has overtaken university of ibadan and uniben. |

StOla: Fashola's was also listed as "website update" but it turned out that to be more. From his explanation, the website was a repository of licensed software made available to the public with the cost already borne by the state government under the caption of "Website Update".
None from the mob of critics came out to fault the claim or prove that the licensed software available on the website should have cost significantly less?
I'm not an emotional critic or apologist.
I hope if a plausible clarification is given subsequently on this outlandish amount for a website update, you would hurry here to acknowledge your error? LICENCE FOR WEBSITE. PLS EXPLAIN TO ME MORE. |

Romance › Re: Why Condom does not guaranty HIV prevention. by AK481(m): 5:54pm On Dec 24, 2015 |
Toks2008: I know this topic will shock many people who believe in the propaganda that the use of condom is a formidable prevention against HIV but unfortunately, using a condom does not prevent you from contracting HIV but only reduces the chance of contracting it.
Now read this and i doubt if you will ever read this anywhere else because the condom industry is a huge one and facts like this may not be widely disseminated but here i give it to you to ponder over.
-Human immunodeficient Virus(HIV) is very virulent and can pass through through unnoticeable and painless skin abrasion on the penile shaft as well as the vaginal region.
-The viral load is present in cervico-vaginal fluid and of-course in the blood.
-We will agree that in most cases if not all,the condom no matter how carefully worn still exposes some part of the penile shaft and this is where the problem lies because in most cases, the vaginal secretions come in contact with this exposed region of the shaft.
-This means an automatic entry of the virus from the vaginal fluid into the man especially when there are some abrasions on the penile skin which of-course is so delicate and easily bruised.
-If the man also has the virus and he happens to have any form of abrasion on the penile shaft then the woman can easily contract the virus once the Unclad part of his shaft touches the walls of the vaginal.
This is just a simple illustration to show that condoms are no guarantee prevention against HIV.
Staying faithful to one sexual partner who is HIV negative and will not be silly enough to indulge in careless sexual act with an infected individual remains the best way to prevent HIV.
The bottom line is that no one is really safe and we all stand the risk of contracting it as the Virus has a transient period between when it is contracted and when it can be detected in the blood so you may meet someone who is tested negative today and later may test positive.
GOD HELP US. Op please provide link or information of someone that got infected and the condom was used without tearing or leakage. One u use a condom and it didn't not tear, and all instruction on the pack was adhere to,then you used it effectively. |
Politics › Re: Fayose Distributing Bags Of Rice To People In Ekiti. Photos by AK481(m): 5:46pm On Dec 24, 2015 |
TonyeBarcanista: I have been witholding my position on Fayose's style of 'governance' all these whÍle. I think it's time to express it.
With due respect to Governor Ayo Fayose and his supporters, I think the Governor is abusing governance and is damaging the psyche of average Ekiti indigene on the responsibility of government by his actions.
His stomach infrastructure program has made government to be a "come and chop" affair. Instead of devoting such resources towards capacity building that will boost the human development of Ekiti people, and also wealth creation programs that will empower Ekiti people to be able to increase their financial capacity and build Ekiti economy, the governor rather spend it on non productive stomach infrastructure.
This pattern of sharing rice, cutting animal skin(kpomo), buying seasoning etc doesn't help the state go grow. Has he asked himself, "after eating the rice, what next for the people?" Will he feed them three times in a day? Will he give them money to buy cloths? Will he give them Shelter? Will he 'dash' the people automobile? How can his people get these without real empowerment?
I pray the Governor doesn't carry this form of governance(misgovernance) into the new year! He may not be the worst Governor but he needs to change... After working for a company,is it right for a company to share gift @ the end of the year to boost morale and productivity next year. Is fayose also building road and paying salaries of workers? |
