University of Salford is stressing the hell outta me... had a 30mins skype interview last week, I just submitted another 500 word essay today. Whereas I have admission for same course in Sheffield Hallam & Leeds Beckett.

Is it a crime to have the university of Salford as your first choice?

If the UK could deport a 5yr old boy born On british soil, then how much more a 20 year old terrorist.

Is it okay to apply to 10 different universities?

During interview, if asked how many schools I applied to. Hope saying 10 universities would not mean anything.

Go for MSc as it costs less and of higher level. You can also bring your dependent. Many candidate with non nursing background and get MSc Nursing pre registration (2 years) without studying Nursing. Google and ccheck for the requirements. You can get experience in Nigeria and it is accounted for in admission.

Also, when you study a BSc programme, you cannot bring any dependent.

Thanks

MSc Mental health is 18months and it qualifies you as a practicing Mental Health Nurse, I’d choose that over BSc

I saw you tagged me in another post with the same content. . ... I am always cautious about giving advice on field that are not my direct line of hussle because info I have might be generic or hearsay so please do your own finding

This nursing education means you be on tier 4 dependent and be studying?... if yes, There are currently no restrictions on dependants studying in the UK so that ok. However nursing can be intensive and have placements so you might have to pick a struggle . Money or schooling. If you want to school then it might be hard to work in the care job for let's say full time or 40 hours. If you are financially ok then you both can face the school with minimum need to work

On the issue of bsc or msc. I been told in UK no much difference. Both will get you to the end of entering the door in nursing. However I saw a comment that if you decide to go back to Nigeria then Nigeria might not accept that 2 years msc nursing . Apart from going to naija for uk. I would choose MSC over BSC

My problem with nursing is their pay structure for all the effort involved. I dont think it pays well although there is stability.

I would say maybe you come first as a dependent , stay one or two years, study the uk system and then make decisions based on your first hand experience in UK regarding what best.... when you come as you check for care job , also check other areas in admin or support so you dont limit yourself. You might just get a good breakthrough into an area not even thought about and grow from there

Thanks

Advice needed guys;

Wifey is going for masters in broadcast journalism. We applying for the visa together.

I have a bachelors degree in Agric economics obtained in 2010. However, this travel decision has made me decide to pursue a career in nursing.

As a dependant, I plan to do care jobs for as long, to get the experience and knowledge needed.

Which is advisable between getting a Bsc (3yrs) or Msc (2yrs)

Does any of the degree have advantage over the other when it comes to becoming registered with NMC.

Ps: I have B.Agric in the year 2010.

Has anyone used waec/neco statement of result from secondary school OR the online printout (using scratch card) to get masters admission before?

I understand this is dependent on the university but has anyone used it before.

The original certificate is missing.

Ask your intended school.

Okay, one more question. Does name arrangement on birth certificate mean anything?

Name on birth certificate: Red, Yellow, Green.

Name on all other documents including school results and passport: Yellow, Red, Green.

what hence did you need to prove when you have your marriage certificate?

I am scared cos they use to hammer on joint bills, joint account, mortgage in both names, anything joint sha.

Wedding will take place December 24th. We will be applying early next year as against May intake.

I don’t think we will be having any of those join join things.

I know marriage certificate will cover the genuine part, but what about the subsisting part.

What can we do?

If you've got pictures and any joint bills together, it's okay.

Good day house, wifey has Bachelor of Arts in English language (3rd class) in 2014 and a Post graduate diploma in Broadcast Journalism (Upper Credit) in 2016. She has been working as a journalist from 2017 till present.

Can she go ahead and apply for masters in journalism?

I would have reasoned she applies for a 2 years graduate diploma in journalism but I have been reading that it’s a bit tricky to convince visa officers when pursuing a lesser/same academic qualification in canada.

Gurus pls what do u suggest?

My question to the enlightenment of many of us is
If I am done with a 1yr Program, then applied and got a 1yr PGWP, but during or before the end of the 1yr PGWP I got admitted into another 1yr program, 1. Will such a person still be eligible to apply for a another PGWP?
2. If yes, how many years PGWP will he or she gets?

Please experience minds should also contribute with answers.
Thanks

Pgwp only comes but once.

Approval alert for my wife

She has a degree but applied for an Advanced diploma

Upfront medicals: 30th Oct 2019
Online application: 31st Oct 2019
Biometrics completed: 1st of Nov 2019
Medicals passed: 20th of Jan 2020
Bvl and passport request: 3rd of March 2020.

Docs submitted:

All IRCC forms
Admission letter
1st semester fees
Sop
Visas and stamps
Account statements
House papers.

My open work permit application was also approved, it was a joint application.

It’s good to know couples can submit their applications together. While the main applicant is applying for the study permit, the spouse can apply for sowp and the kids if any. Congrats!
