It isn't a new development. A number of companies do same and deduct from your salary monthly. Were you given a separate letter/contract to sign for the loan?
Whatever you ain't happy with, you may discuss with your recruiter in a subtle way.

It's not right but most of us are used to such most especially when it comes to JAPA. For example, a lady was promised JAPA and after the process she was told that no cell phone will be allowed for a year while she works for the agent there. She agreed because she just wanna leave this country, so such is life.

What type of job is this ?.... morally employer suppose to cover all cost , at the minimum you should have been told before cos.

However the streets are not playing . Home offices charges are so much that employers are coming up with all manner of tricks to cover the cost. Some are putting in the contract that you pay xx amount if you leave before.

It’s a care worker job. Having read other people’s input, it’s like it’s a norm.

No agent should hold down someone’s application for any reason.

what if the applicant can’t afford the excess rate the agent is using as a benchmark.

As at today oanda is 582, so are we saying.

In as much as you want to play safe, you don’t have to inconvenient your client.

My agent told me 650-700, guess what? I used 620 because i can afford it. And i’m sure as hell I am still playing safe

It’s either you take IELTS or try Manchester metropolitan uni or uni of Salford if u really wanna school in Manchester. You can check Uni of Bolton as well.

That Uni of Manchester ehn, they have plenty shakara and it’s not pocket friendly.

Any Leeds Beckett applicant in the house. I was informed via mail that I was given a discount of 4k but when I requested this to be reflected on my offer letter, they responded that the discount is only communicated via mail.

2. No. A person already in the UK before July 1st is qualified. Only those people who come to the UK to study after July 1st are not qualified.
3. You can for those present in the UK before July 1st. Her husband is eligible if he studied in the UK.

Oga I recommend you find time to read about the post study rules again and digest it this time around. You need to be accurate about the information you dish out so you don’t mislead people.

@akanniade samething salford did to me.. Meanwhile I got stress free admission to Leeds Beckett over GBP 4000 less than salford on same course. About rounding up my first semester now and am grateful I went the beckett route(more friendly to my pocket. lol). My advise to prospective student would be to get as must industry relevant skill set as possible. And look at industry relevant internships while studying as this would provide you with experience (even if your school doesn't do placement). I am yet to get an internship but I believe I would get one soon. We moueeve

No, I wasn't even able to login at all. Mine came in yesterday.

Congrats on your offer. I am trying to understand your complaints. Which account are you having issues with? You can’t log into your email account, you can’t log into your salford application portal or both.

Ps: I called the school few minutes ago, they said an offer letter will come in within 5working days of getting an offer decision.

Lets keep in touch. I have have unconditional offers with Sheffield Hallam, Leeds Beckett, Sunderland and Oxford Brookes. But my first choice is Salford which is why I can’t wait to get that letter so I continue with my admission process.

When did you receive this offer? I also got an offer email on monday but there was no offer letter attached!!! I have sent sent mails upon mails, no response. I logged into my application portal, no offer letter there too.

Please which number did you call? I sent a mail since Monday, but no response. I think the way forward is calling them.

I need them to send me an offer letter sharply so that I can push on with the admission process. The mail I got 3days ago was “congratulations on your offer, your letter would be sent in the coming days”....
