Bro, it's best you buy from a genuine and registered real estate company

I can link you to their physical and verifiable office in Lagos.
They will take you for inspection, show you the necessary documents like deed of assignments, surver and Ogun state land chart.
Ensure you go with your lawyer when checking documents, this is to proof of the company genuity.
I recently made part payment and will complete the remaining later.
When I went for inspection, I saw Nigerians living abroad that came to buy there too.

Be very careful in land dealings
If you need more information, as to visit the office at Ikeja to make enquiries, email me at emmydon646@gmail.com

Ok thanks chief, I will email you when am ready. More grace

First of all, I am not the author of the attached schedule. It's the DMO who is incharge and that's the actual payment date.

Secondly, that some people chose not to do their work when and how they should do it doesn't not make it correct.

Thirdly, saying the payment is usually between 20-23 is not correct because apart from the first coupon which I didnt collect early because there was a mistake on my account and it did not deliver, this is the the only one I am getting this late. At most, I have get it on the 19th of Dec. Yet, that does not negate the fact that the official payment date is 16th June or Dec except that date false on weekend or public holiday. I just don't want to litter here with proofs. If not I would posted all the alert from June 2021 till date for you to see that you are not correct or that your bank takes time to credit you. Your usual delays for upto 20-23 is not from CSCS.

Well u may be right sha, no wahala

Just 15th of last month, 21 casement windows with burglary and net was delivered to me for a 5 bedroom bungalow, total cost 1.690M plus delivery and workmanship (hanging it).

List out the sizes/dimensions of your window let me help you ask for quote from same person that did for me.

The dimensions should be in mm like 900mm*1200mm, 1200mm*1500mm, etc

Please am also interested in this.

Which type of material used?

White, grey or black?

Thick imported, ordinary imported or tower?

Casement windows without burglary?

Thanks in anticipation

Got this materials quote for wiring of a 5bedroom bungalow all ensuite with visitors toilet.

1. 1 coil of 16mm load wire Copper

2. 8 coils of 2.5mm single wire red

3. 8 coils of 2.5mm wire black

4. 10 coils of 1.5mm single wire green

5. 8 coils of 1.5mm red

6. 8 coils of 1.5mm black

7. 2 coils of 4mm single wire red, and black

8. 1 coil of 6mm single wire red

9. 2 coils of antenna wire black

Your thoughts please 🙏

What's the length nd breath of the building?
Try to get electrical drawing layout for the wiring.
From the drawing u should know where ur money is going to.

If u r buying Coleman or nigerchin cables, this is a lot of money running into millions.

I think this is on the high side!

Now I understand you, if your engineer is a civil engineer he might not know the size of cables.. I can bet it with you that the cable bought for your water heater and AC is 4mm.. They collected money for 6mm and buy 4mm cable.

I have seen some electrician recommending 50mm armoured cable for a 2- bedroom bungalow, FOR WHAT??.. Make sure you get expert advice to avoid paying excess money. The recent I got from one of the member here was so crazy.... See below quantity
1.5mm
Red 8
Black 8

2.5mm
Red 5
Black 5

10mm
Red 2
Black 2

Above list are for single 2bedroom flat as quoted by electrician and civil engineer... So if the man did not contacted me he would have bought all the cables and the left over be taken away.

Before you select your supply cables, there is calculation to be done for the total load in the building..

U r absolutely right, that's their doings.
That's y I advice the guy not to follow their quote and he should personally check everything physically if possible he should involve third party engineer to ascertain the quantity.

But in my own case I bought my cables direct from a major distributor myself because Coleman cables prices is not a child's play.

Can you believe me that my electrician quote excess pipping fittings and after day one work on site he went home with keys as against our agreement that he should drop the key for my inspection.

I called him to know y he went away with the keys, he said he forgot to drop it and since he's resuming very early the next day I shouldn't bother. I took spare keys nd was wow at the quantity of materials left bectthe job is already at 75%.

So I decided to do video coverage of all the job he has done nd the left over materials nd gave him voice not to go away with my materials.

After all the job I still have up to some bundles of pipe, U ways, couplers gum and some adaptable boxes.

It's better U crosscheck whatever they quote or even buy 70% of their quote nd monitor the job thoroughly because they make more than their payment from ur materials.

Boss... I studied Electrical and Electronic Engineering and i have been practicing for more than 10yeas now. I design, and also install. I have never design using above 4mmsq cable for split unit. 4mm cable is enough 1hp, 1.5hp, 2hp and 2.5hp and 3hp AC. The only way you can consider 6mm cable is when you are installing 5HP 3-phase AC.

What size of cable did you use for your water heater and AC?

Like I said earlier, I am not an engineer, so I agree with you in totality.

I used 6mm for water heater and ac.

The highest gauge of cables quoted by my electrician is 6mm but like I said I listen to engineers around me nd follow their advice.

4mm is enough for AC and water heater,,,. Buying 6mm or higher cable for AC and water heater is a waste of money. price of cable is not smiling these days... Even 2.5mm at times is used for 1HP .. Do not give him wrong advice

I have engineers around me nd I always listen nd consult them before embarking on anything.

How could you say am giving him wrong advice.

On my own project, I used 25mm recline from pole, 16mm for load from the cutout to distribution board, then 2.5 nd 1.5 for load sharing to sockets nd switches.

Bear in mind no body is an Highland of knowledge.

If u r talking of cables high prices these days it's understandable, especially Coleman and Nigerchin but never u say am giving him wrong advice.

Long and short BS screw
Black star screw 2" INCH
Blacks tapes 4 pieces
Multiple colours tapes light 4 row, chokes 17 pieces...
Thanks in advance for your assistance

Am not an engineer but my little contribution,

Try to count ur switches and sockets yourself as they are easy to identify. Never buy materials base on these quote, they are funny people. Like I said crosscheck everything physically base on ur building length.

With this load, buy 6mm or higher, 4mm is too small for water heaters and all these air conditioning.

Acidosis:

Not in the way you expect. Inflation affects everything in the same manner. Assume you have N200,000, and you intend to buy an Air Conditioner unit. You visit the market, and the seller informs you that the final price is N220,000. Unable to raise the full amount, you decide to invest in a 2-year bond with the expectation of returning with more funds to buy the AC later. However, you return after two years only to discover that the same AC unit is now being sold for N550,000. The amount you receive from the bond after the 2-year waiting period is only N280,000.

U r right but am not in agreement with ur submission 100%.

Did u consider DEPRECIATION effects on the initial air condition u could have gotten at #220,000 2 years earlier?
