manwomanok: Thank you sir

I want to learn In a layman's language....... Normally u get paid every six month, making it twice in a year. If u buy now u r to collect the first coupon in six month but in ur case u r getting ur first coupon in March this year. That's y we have the dirty price for u to pay since September in order to close the gap. U will get 12m at maturity because u r paying for September to January from the 13m then by March u get six months payment instead of 3 months u genuinely bought. It's like u r paying upfront for 3 months then u will b paid ur 3 months back from the coupon u will get in March instead of counting fresh six months. |
