My dear self pity is not the solution.

I was forced to look for a teaching job that was paying me about 25k monthly after my NYSC. It was small, but at least I was not begging. Was able to get a room to myself after saving for sometime. My friends and ex-coursemates were mocking and telling me that they can't earn such a paltry amount, after all the uni education. It wasn't easy, but I continued with it just to keep body and soul together.

I still teach today, but with a salary close to 150k monthly.

Not there yet, but not where I used to be.

Just look for something at all for a start.

Being a technocrat in a private enterprise does not confer political experience especially in a country like Nigeria. It is a different terrain entirely.
