It is no longer a rumour that N-power Recruitment for 2020 has started. Federal Government has recently disclosed that out of over three million who applied for the program, Only 400,000 will be eligible for the N-power jobs.




Many applicants who had registered for the program are yet to get an email notification indicating that they have successfully registered. this has also created anxiety among them as many are so anxious to get such.

Although N-Power Management has said they are aware of the present issue being faced by Applicants.

A Nigerian man who got married three weeks ago has died on his way to Kano State.



The shocking news was confirmed by his friend, Nasir Adhama who took to twitter to share the heartbreaking post.

According to Nasir Adhama, his late friend whose name was not mentioned got married few weeks ago only for him to die a painful death while travelling to Kano State.

However, the cause of his death is yet to be known but many people believe that he must have died as a result of an accident.

Nasir Adhama wrote:

“Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihirrajiun, Allah ya jikan ka Khalifa. I’m shocked! He got married 3weeks ago, and a day before yesterday he called me ”Uncle Nasir, I’m going to kano tomorrow if you are free, I will come by and greet you.” He died yesterday on his way to Kano. RIP my son”.

The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has announced that the “2019 batch B stream II” passing-out parade (POP) will hold nationwide on July 16.



The scheme revealed the passing-out parade will be a low-key event due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The statement issued and signed by its Director of press and public relations, Mrs. Adenike Adeyemi, in Abuja on Wednesday, said qualified Corps Members would receive their Certificates of National Service (CNS) at the Local Government level.

It also disclosed that distribution of the Certificate of National Service would be staggered for a period of ten days in the first instance, in keeping with the safety measures established by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

The statement quoted the scheme’s Director-General, Brig. Gen. Shuaibu Ibrahim to have lauded the outgoing Corps Members for their service to the nation.

Shuaibu charged the Corps Members to remain steadfast in rendering service to the nation and humanity, even after they have concluded their national assignment as that is the hallmark of the Corps.

In his words, “Finally, all Corps Members and NYSC stakeholders are advised to stay vigilant, in order to guard against the contraction of COVID-19.

“Therefore, all must ensure strict observance of the safety protocols, predicated on consistent use of face masks, proper washing of hands with soap for at least twenty seconds, use of alcohol-based sanitizer, and observing social/physical distancing,” the statement added.”

A nursing mother whose name is yet to be known has been caught stealing human hair at a shop in Balogun market.

According to the owner of the shop who is identified as Kingsley, this is not the first time the nursing mother would be caught stealing human hair from the shop.

Kingsley further made us understand that there was a time she also came to steal hairs though he was caught but allowed her to go scot-free after she begged.

The nursing mother came back to steal human hairs which worth 200,000 and thank God she was caught red-handed, The vendor reports.
