Nigerian author and lawyer, Reno Omokri, claims to have the antidote to the troubling menace of ritual murder and fraud that has besieged the country.  Reno Omokri in a recent post on his Instagram page suggested four ways he believes internet fraud and ritual killings in the country can be eradicated. According to the former presidential aide, parents should stop seeing their children as a source of income and averred that women would have to avoid being transactional in relationships. Photos of the Nigerian soldier killed by a drunk police officer in Borno state on Tuesday, February 1, have been shared online.  The soldier identified as late Donatus Vonkong, was providing security for Abubakar El-Kanemi, Shehu of Borno, at his palace when he was killed by the policeman from the Force’ mobile unit. The police officer was said to be under the influence of alcohol when he fired the shot that killed Donatus. The policeman started “misbehaving” around the palace and the deceased, who was the leader of the security unit at the palace had to intervene. Vonkong was said to have been handpicked by the Shehu to serve as his chief of security since 2012 when he reportedly saved the monarch from a suicide bomber. El-Kanemi escaped the bomb blast that went off immediately after Jumat prayers at a mosque in front of his palace. About 10 people died in the blast. Vonkong, who had noticed the suicide bomber moving close to the Shehu, was said to have jumped to pull out the Shehu from danger. The Federal Government in a new update has said that it is taking some actions to combat the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic as it has suspended the passports of over 2,000 in-bound travellers for disobeying the strict COVID-19 guidelines.  Mukhtar Mohammed, the National incident manager of the Presidential Steering Committee (PSC) said, during a press briefing that the government had to take such necessary steps to keep the people of Nigeria from a super spreader event that may cause danger. Mohammed also explained that travellers who did not follow the strict Covid-19 protocol have been penalised. He also added that they had bolstered the surveillance systems at the airports and land borders to improve the security situation. Passengers travelling from high-risk nations such as South Africa, Brazil, India, and Turkey must spend 14 days in government-approved isolation centres. Mohammed said: “We have included the provision of quarantine for passengers who arrived from restricted countries, and people who evaded these protocols have been penalised by publishing their names, as well as by suspending their passports for one year. Passengers arriving from high-risk countries like South Africa, Brazil, India and Turkey are to embark on a mandatory 14-day quarantine in government-approved facilities. The celebrity photographer whose name is given as Fortunate Umunmame reportedly drowned (based on trending rumour) at an unknown location in Lekki Lagos. Remember on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, Obama DMW who is also one of Davido's friends also died on the same TUESDAY! Anyway below is the list of Davido's friends who died mysteriously between 2017 and 2021. 1. DJ Olu Before his demise, he was an intelligent DJ in the DMW group. DJ Olu, also known as Olugbenga Abiodun was found dead in a BMW automobile parked in one garage in Banana Island alongside Chime Amaechi. 2. Chime Amaechi Chime was another close friend of Davido who died together with DJ Olu. Blood was gushing out of their mouths and noses when they died on the same day. According to police sources, both of them may have died as a result of using too many hard drugs. 3. Tagbo Umeike Davido was embroiled in a slew of disputes and turmoil following Tagbo’s death. Tagbo was said to have died after drinking ten Tequila shots on his birthday. The fact that Davido was present at the scene when his friend was having fun with 10 straight shots of Tequila was the major reason for his death being connected to Davido. 4. Ahmed (King Jhaffi) The death of Ahmed, better known as King Jhaffi, is the first death in Davido’s camp in the year 2020. Davido confirmed Ahmed’s death on social media in a very devastating state. It was reported that Davido’s bodyguard died as a result of complications from a long-standing diabetes struggle. 6. Habeeb Uthman (Obama DMW) Obama DMW, an associate of popular Nigerian entertainer and DMW boss, Davido also died on Tuesday, June 29, in a hospital in Lekki, Lagos. Fortune Davido’s official photographer is the latest member of his crew to join his long list of dead friends. Popular Celebrity blogger, Linda Ikeji has recently changed the surname of her son Jayce from her baby daddy’s name Jeremi to that of her own father Ikeji as she celebrates him on his birthday.  Linda Ikeji for some reason changed the surname of her son Jayce to Ikeji taking the identity of his father Jeremi from it and even changed it in his Instagram bio and we wonder why. For reasons best known to her, Linda Ikeji changed the surname of her son, Jayce to Ikeji, removing the identity of his father Jeremi from it and even changed it in his Instagram bio and we wonder why. Some possible reasons why most women give their father's surname to their kids could be when the father of their kids doesn't take responsibility and do what they are expected to do as fathers or sometimes the mothers just feel like based on privacy issues. But in the case of Linda Ikeji, we believe something might be wrong somewhere because she was using the baby daddy's name Jeremi for her son, Jayce but then has changed it all of a sudden which means something might have gone wrong somewhere and we are yet to discover it. Linda Ikeji hardly talks about her baby daddy and now is trying to delete his identity from the life of her son Jayce by giving him her father’s surname meaning she doesn’t want to have anything do with him again until whatever be the reason is solved.
