JustMellow: Its advisable but not compulsory that if you're a matured applicant, do well to show your personal BS, especially if its a third party sponsorship.

abusmanlouis: The question stated, is work essential component of your study?
What you will need to do is to check your admission letter and read it line to line to see if your program has a mandatory practicum. If it has, the admission/acceptance will come with a letter to apply for work permit along with your visa application, then tick for yes. thanks |

Obehi44: Hey that question is very coni, the truth is that some programs require that you work as a student. Therefore, kindly check with your skol, program and the admission letter to see if it states that you have to work. thanks |

demicupid: For the Assessment Centre
Work on your presentation well, relate your topics to polaris bank
Be confident during presentation and expect questions.
The group discussion would be a walkover
The interview wasn't bad too.. You'd be majorly asked on things you put on your CV, also some of your responses could bring about further questions, so be prepared.
The E basket is going to be a walkover, just listen to the given instructions and pay attention to detail.
Then the Microsoft proficiency tests excel and word, it's actually easy if you're good and you're used to working with them.
The Essay, you'll get 3 topics to pick from and write on, it's typed actually.
I tried my best and I'm leaving the rest to God! what activities did you do on the excel pls. and the e basket, was it audio all through ni |

Qualcoms: Well, Akin... if assessors didn't say anything after presentation, does it actually mean the presentation was ok?
I had it the same way, but kind of scared... they didn't ask any question. Well, its subjective, though, I believe it is positive. if I were to assess myself based on my performance with regards to the presentation, I did a good job. |

I rambled a faithful bit here. mentioned my name, talked about being an enthusiastic, innovative , outstanding, self motivated graduate of la la la university, that I'm passionate about banking and believes fbn has what it takes to mould me into a competent banker while achieving with her. also listed my skills I.e good communication skills, creativity, team player etc, that I believe I'll be an asset to them. |

Thanks to all the guys in previous recruitment that took out their time to share their experiences, most especially scented , cloud9usher and the other guys too. May Allah reward you all. I had my AC towards the end of the exercise. I'll share my experiences as follows:
Group discussion: This was the first exercise I had , we weren't up to 6 in my group, well, I spoke first and contributed my points, another guy followed, and we all spoke at turns. At a point, I had to call the attention of my colleagues to the limited time we had, while a contributor was dragging her contribution for so long with unnecessary stories, though, I said this after she finished with her contribution( don't know if its a negative). Power point Preparation: I did well here, I was able to prepare my slides in time, about 8 of them.
Interview: This was were I think I performed best, I answered well all the questions posed. I.e About my self, scopes of FBN services and products, time I was innovative, time I led a team, a time I disagreed with a boss, time I felt I did3 have enough skill to accomplish a task. I answered all the questions drawing up experiences from.my undergraduate days and NYSC mostly.
Essay writing I tried my best here too, but I couldn't writing the concluding part of the essay due to time factor.
Presentation: I had no issues here, I presented well, and my assessors asked no questions and said nothing, except when one of them told me I had a minute to conclude my presentation.
Overall, AC was cool. it was a worthwhile experience. I pray for success. |
