http://www.irunmoleblog.com/2018/12/profile-of-man-utd-new-coach-solskjaer/ WHAT IS SOLSKJAER’S MANAGERIAL RECORD? Solskjaer has been a manager in his own right since 2011, when he took charge of Molde, though he has never experienced a job anything like the magnitude of Manchester United. He does have experience working in the backroom of the Old Trafford club, however. After retiring from the professional game, Sir Alex Ferguson gave him a role as the striker coach and a year later he was put in charge of the reserve team. It was at Molde, though, that he first cut his teeth in a managerial role. He started in an inauspicious fashion, going down to a 3-0 defeat to newly promoted Sarpsborg in his first match in charge, but the first season proved to be a success as he led the club to the league title for the first time in their history – quite a way to mark their centenary year. He proved to be in no rush to return to England, turning down the opportunity to manage Aston Villa in 2012. “I have said for a long time that I have ambitions to be a Premier League manager, but I haven't been chasing after any jobs,” the former striker told the media at the time. Although another Tippeligaen title followed, the following season proved difficult and Molde finished in a disappointing sixth place. It was at this juncture he finally elected to move to the Premier League as he replaced Malky Mackay as Cardiff manager. “I feel lucky to be back in the Premier League. I had to have a talk about it with the family obviously but it is a great opportunity,” he told the media. He was not, however, in the top flight for long as he was unable to save the Blues from relegation. Indeed, their fortunes deteriorated under his charge as they fell from 16th to bottom, earning only 12 points from 18 matches, while conceding 42 times and scoring only 17. Cardiff persisted for a time, but a 1-0 loss to Middlesbrough that left them 15th in the Championship saw him sacked in September 2014. In 2015, he returned to Molde and has enjoyed steady form back in Norway, with a couple of second place finishes in the Eliteserien. On December 3, he signed a three-year contract extension with the club, stating: “I’ve never hidden that I enjoy being here and am pleased to continue developing the team. We’ve moved to the top of the table slowly but surely, and I was to see further development and improvement over the next few years in pursuit of trophies and European football.” And now, if only temporarily, he has the top job at Old Trafford. Speaking about the appointment, he told the club's official website: “Manchester United is in my heart and it’s brilliant to be coming back in this role. I’m really looking forward to working with the very talented squad we have, the staff and everyone at the club." READ MORE: http://www.irunmoleblog.com/2018/12/profile-of-man-utd-new-coach-solskjaer/

https://www.irunmoleblog.com/2018/12/a-poor-african-boy-drinking-dirty-water.html There are numerous reasons why poverty has become a serious problem in Africa. it is very obvious largely in Africa that a lot of factors are being attached to poverty:political instability, ethnic conflicts, climate change e.t.c The greatest causes of poverty in Africa which African government is not taking much concern on is the lack of clean drinking water across the country. According to Africa public Health.Info "1.6 million people die every year from just diarrhea diseases (including cholera) attributable to lack of access to safe drinking water & basic sanitation. The lack of water is an often a great obstacle to helping oneself. You can't grow food crops, you can't stay healthy, African women are dis-proportionally burdened by the scarcity of clean drinking water. In most African societies. The World Health Organization has shown in economic terms that: for every $1 invested in water and sanitation, there is an economic return of between $3 and $34! African Government should therefore make a viable structure and mind-blowing investment plans relating to the availability of clean waters to every homes. Without clean water, the possibility of breaking out of the cycle of poverty in Africa is very low. -OTAWA.

A young man named Bakare John who is a student of UNILAG was being harassed by 4 Nigerian policemen and 1 Mopol. He narrated his ordeal with us; he was being harassed and brutalized seriously. According to him, the police officer intercepted his car along Agbowa- ikorodu axis suspecting that he was a yahoo boy. Here's what he said; “I had a nasty experience with some 4 Nigerian policemen and a Mopol on Wednesday evening around 7:30pm as I was coming from a football match with my friends inside the car with me, this incident happened at a police checkpoint along Agbowa- ikorodu axis. A policeman asked me to stop and he was slapping me and beating me seriously till blood was rushing out of my mouth, he collected the key of the car, he also smashed my phone on the ground, he sprayed tear gas to my eyes and I was crying bitterly, he said I'm not the owner of the car and I told him it's my mother that owns the car he said I should call my mother and I called her .The policeman spoke with her on phone. They alleged me as a hardened criminal in which I’ve never being involved in any sort of crime case whatsoever. I was even telling them to let us settle things peacefully and explain things calmly. As I was speaking with them I observed that some of them were drunk, so I was trying to play smart so as for them not to pull any trigger. I told them I’m a student of UNILAG and that I was coming from a football match and that I'm going back home. He checked through my phone maybe he would see any traces of fraudulent chats or anything relating to cyber crime, he checked through but he didn’t see anything. He said if I’m ready to cooperate with him he’ll cooperate with me, he spoke with my Mom. I was being stranded for hours until they requested for money. I told them I don’t have money to settle them that I’m a student. They pressurized me until I gave them #2000naira just for them to free me and let me go”
