Politics / Re: The Second Coming Of Goodluck Jonathan - Dele Momodu by Akinwerndey: 10:59pm On Nov 19, 2016
dadaic:
I think we are all loosing a great and vital point to this. If the country has the ability to curtail 2 Presidents, the country still won't change. The effect will still be the same and the recession will surely happen. Things are bound to happen and we can't change them, we only can prevent them. Resources are limited, and the population is growing daily. How do we manage these resources with the ever-growing population. We don't have a clue of the number of persons living at a particular place, we have no clue of the number of resources that can be harnessed at different states, and yet we think either Jonathan or Buhari can make a change? I think not.

Time after time, each sitting president seems to be better off than the former. Can't we see as time passes, things gets worse. Companies are leaving, unemployment has become a norm, and no one seems to be ashamed of it. And you clamor for Jonathan, or some freaking futuristic president who has got no clue of what the country is like?

If you want to understand a man, give him money, after wards, give him power. I think Jonathan was given every possible time to make the country right in his way. But he didn't, he couldn't. He failed, just like every project that has been handled by companies failed. Buhari has made a mess of it, and it keeps getting worse. We should not take our sight off many things. Our resources will soon wear off, and in no time, we will have nothing. Our kids are growing, our schools are depleting, we have nothing. No advancement, nothing to show for it. Great minds are leaving the country, and yet we say one man can make a change? This country has failed, and we keep putting blames on this and that.
When will that stop?

I was walking today at Abule egba, where the road construction which the Fed govt has got no clue where to begin from. I decided to control traffic, and a friend of mine asked, why should I be bothered about it? He asked why I should help people who have got no care about me or know about my existence. And I said, If someone doesn't do it, who will? I have to. If we keep neglecting little things like this, my brother, this country will never change. It will remain the same, even if Jonathan and Buhari work together. We claim we are one Nigeria, but we are not. I clamor for a working country, give me goosebumps when you rule, give me a reason to live for Nigeria, not to live in Nigeria. Give me a reason to cry when someone I don't even know, or will never cross path dies. Give me so much reason to love my dear country. We claim we are the happiest of persons in the world, how are we happy? Suffering, yet smiling. That doesn't exist anymore. I love this country, I left and came back, and I am here to stay, no matter what. Give me reasons not to regret the decision I have made.
oh Man U got me shedding tears! This is the most reasonable comment on Nairaland so far today... God bless U

it is highly pity for u,everybody is happy for subversion of corruption through corrupt judges that give favorable judgment to corrupt government officials and politicians, certainly because the looted money has been used to bribe them

Please please you all Buhari apologists should stay clear from my post. I can bet Buhari himself that those judges will come out clean. I will be the last man to say this government is having any l inteligence to prove any case against any persons. These dull set of lie tellers and people who are known to be worst propagandists? We will we will get there, get there there. Very brainless humans.
Has Buharu government ever win any case genuinly other than oppressing the defenceless, people without saviour?
I only wonder why some people who think they are sane will believe in the antics Of dullhari... I lost hope in Buhari since last december presidential media chat, he was given the perfect avenue to win over biafran agitators an opposition with straight forward but sensitive question but you know na he's dull, he blew it and that was it! Come 2019 buhari must go!

The nations you mentioned did not become developed today, I wasn't referring to the system of government they practice today. Those countries you mentioned have been developed and civilised for over a century. Using Germany as a case study, I suppose Germany under the iron claws of Adolph Hitler and his NAZI party is part of the governments you refer to as a democracy right?.. Or probably a Monarchical system practiced in france or the UK in the past is what you refer to as democracy?

was Hitler elected or nt? Did you know when the parliament seize power from the royal family in england and made it mere ceremonial? Or was it the monarchy system that was in place during the industrial revolution? Abeg bros no feed trash I no wan chop!

Are china and UK democracies bros? Do u know that in the event of a hung parliarment the queen decides who becomes the PM so is that democracy? China is a communist country. All of russia's military advancement was achieved under what? Is russia a democracy in the real sense of the word? What about U.A.E ? Dubai we are all going to today became what it is under what? How bout libya, how is it doing now wit all the democracy noise NATO and allies came with. How bout iraq ? Is it better now ? .infact the almighty USA is the biggest debtor in the world. EU as a whole with the exception of germany all the rest are f-uckin debtors so u see there's no PERFECT system and african like arabs need strong hands not petty systems that work for caucasians. We hav our history and they have theirs. Democracy has failed us completely
are U serious? Kai I can't argue with you because I'll end up dulling my brain! Do U know what is called socialist democracy? Do the presidents of Russia and china put themselves in power without elections being conducted from the parliament or even the public in the case of russia? And for your information the monarch in the UK is ceremonial and they have less powers... My friend get your facts right please.
