Hello akmog, what's this letter of introduction about? I didn't get any. I only got a mail from the Embassy asking me to check my cic account for the message they sent. That was how I found the approval message . Are we expected to get a letter from them other than the visa? What is the importance of this letter? Must we travel with it?

The letter of introduction is require at the point of entry in Canada, the officer there will request for it and the visa. Normally it should be in our cic account but I don't know why it was not uploaded there.

Pls advice on what to do, my visa was approved 3 weeks ago, and I have gotten my visa, stamped on my intl. passport but the introduction letter didn't accompany it. I checked my online profile maybe I could download it from there but there was no message there, I also checked my mail maybe it was attached to the mail they send to notify me of my approval it wasn't there. what can I do. thanks

The SOP is different from my letter of explanation. In my LOE, I addressed the reason of my previous refusal by itemizing them one by one.

On your third trail which was successful, I have couple of questions.

First of all, can you throw more light on this Affidavit of return?.

Secondly, how did you go about Affidavit of return? Did you go to a high court to swear an Affidavit of return?

Lastly, how did you resolve the Travel history rejection?

I did the affidavit of return at high court , secondly on the travel history stuff, I told them in my letter of explanation that I have travelled to some West Africa countries for official assignment since where I'm working has branches in those countries but this is not showing in my passport because I didn't need visa to enter those countries. And I also told them that the reason have not travelled to places like USA, UK Canada is because travelling is not my hobby, I only travel when I have something very important to do which is why I am applying for visa now in other to add value to myself and also enhance my career. You just need to be sincere and straight forward with your explanation and hope for the best

the first time, I got it 3rd day after denial at vsf office in Lagos, but the 2nd one I used courier so it took 13 days before I got it.

I do not really think it is because you are going for second master program. It would be because you did not justify why you are going for your propose program and establish the relationship between your current work and your proposed program.

The letter from your supervisor could help but you also need to explain to officers how your career in telecoms will improve as a master in space physics. You have to really do this well.

Well, i can understand why you may not want to defer. The burden now will be on you to show that you need the master you intend to pursue.

Thanks for your responds. Please I need clarification on some things concerning the application I want to re-submit
1. Do I need to do medicals again since is not up to 2 months I did upfront medicals for the initial application that was rejected
2. Do I need to add all the documents I added to the initial application without removing anyone.

Did you write an SOP to justify why you're going for another Masters instead of PhD?
The VO in that light may not see progression and therefore question your intent. What area did you do your 1st Masters?
Some of this things needed to be well explained with a good SOP

My supervisor was the one that asked me to put in for another master with the hope of transferring to phd in the second year so that it will boost my chances of getting scholarship. But I have informed him about the rejection, he promised to give me a letter to the vo, explaining why I was admitted for master and the intention of transferring to phd in2nd year.

Concerning gcms, I would have liked to request for it but the processing time is long and with that i wouldn't be able to make sept entry. And if i differ my admission to Jan, I wouldn't be able to do that for my scholarship and the truth is that without the financial support, I wouldn't be able to finance my study.

I understand my bro. While i'll like to help you in your re-application, i'll most likely want others to benefit too. One or two persons may be in your exact situation and may not know how to go about it. With a collective contribution of everybody here, you can get your issue tackled better than just an opinion of myself alone.

So bro, i appreciate and feel priviledged that you'd like me to help u, i also think we should help others too while at yours. I hope you get what i mean.
So let's start by you sharing your profile(proposed program, undergraduate course, work experience, etc)

By the way, i'll really recommend that you still order for your GCMS file. This is the only way you can acurately tackle the concern of the visa officer. If your program is still opened for another term, do well to defer it if you feel you can't meet up with september. It will be for your greater good. You may feel you can sufficiently tackle the reasons on the refusal letter but the GCMS file will be the first point for another officer reviewing your re-application and your new application will be reviewed from that inference. So please order for you note.

current qualification- BSc. and MSc.in Physics
work experience- more 5years experience as a transmission specialist in telecom industry(i.e I manages transmission equipment like vsat, microwaves etc, and my propose program in space physics is to investigate how atmosphere affects radio signals from satellite and transmission equipment)
Source of funding- got financial support from school($28000 CAD), Myself (3.5m), My uncle as co sponsor(with swear affidavit by a notary )
Landed properties document - for myself, uncle
My marriage cert, daughter and wife cert (pls note, they are not accompany me to canada is stated in the application)
My wife letter of introduction from her place of work and her pay slip to show she can cope when I'm away

But my visa was deny due to purpose of visit and travel history.
