I have big issues with some contributors on this thread especially those with no single kobo in Oando Stock but keep on writing epistle upon epistle and -ve sentiment towards the stock. A bit of Sensible arguments BUT upon the whole, WHY CRY MORE THAN THE BEREAVED (Is it your money?). @ a time, the issue is Oando will never release any result, Later WT promised to release @ a date but reneged on his promise (Debates all over that resulted in calling him names), @ Last, a result was released with a dividend and interim dividend proposed, there is still lots of argument as to why the stock is not worth investing in. There are diverse interpretaion on the FS released depending on the side you are, use the info therein to make investment decision if you like, if not, move on and invest in other stock and not just join the bandwagon of writing epistles (SOme think it's a form of educating peeps on the thread) that are needless cos majority that invested already are aware of issues (RISK) on ground i.e. MGT, Lack of risk mgt practices, funding issues and the likes. Stock trading is not totally based on fundamentals alone, there are lot of other considerations as well when making investment decision. I may stick to Oando today and drop it tomorrow based on dynamics and info available to me as an investor (Decision is mine and will never be based on your thesis) @ Charlesnerd - thanks for the post. |
@mpi210 - but you have google by your side even if you are not privy to the info. Btw- you can check this out http://businessdayonline.com/2014/09/forte-oil-aiteo-group-others-scramble-to-acquire-oandos-downstream-assets/#.VCGCQFekrxU |
@Chibuking81, @Others - why don't you talk less on Oando matter since you don't have any stake in it anymore. It'll do you some good if you tow that line ![]() |
Agbalowomeri: When Oando moves, the whole market shakes. Ready for the bullsNSE-ASI go turn green sharply |
#Justpassingby, good to HOLD on sometimes sha |
From the NSE: Further to the announcement on 15 September 2014 where the share price of Access Bank Plc was placed on Technical Suspension pursuant to an anticipatory approval granted to the Bank, the Quotations Committee of Council of The Exchange yesterday granted final approval to the Bank. Consequently, the market is advised that Technical Suspension will now run from 15 September 2014 to 15 October 2014. Normal transactions on the shares of the Bank will resume on 16 October 2014. CROOKSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kudos to CEO of Proshare who wrote epistle on their goof 2 days ago coupled with lots of discussion on it via social media. I believe this led to this sudden U-turn from the 'so called Regulators'. |
@Agbalowomeri - Kindly remove/delete that your 'dirty' post. It's nonsensical and irrelevant to this thread. |
pls Pass your message accross with civility and respect. Market is full of +ves and -ves. I've shed close to 25% of my huge investment in O2 But still keep hope alive cos i'm not in this bus to do short term. My strategy is to buy @ low price to dilute the effect of the bear on existing units, still studying the market b4 I throw caution to the wind ![]() |
Oando is falling hand big time but i'll still hang on. I won't sell @ a loss |
@Dexterax@omaojo1 - Bottom line is Due process was not followed |
Dexterax: In your best interest and for the sake of your own togetherness, kindly ignore his comment sir. ![]() |
@Omaojo1 - you no too well that it's coined in an official language But i've de-mystified the reason behind it. This is a right issue that has not been approved by shareholders and the last thing to do is coming first via suspension. You'll see more of these infractions when AIG finally assumed office as NSE president |
The practice is unethical, criminal intentions and manipulations that could lead to loss of funds alas INVESTORS. It's synonymous to what OLOLO did for so many banks way back. Cowboys have returned in full force in banking. This is what SANUSI did when he flushed them out (Majority kicked against it) BUT the situation is no more the same with the entrant of this new man @ the Helms of affair in the APEX bank |
The suspension is as a result of insider trading/manipulations done on the share's price by some bad guys in past 10 days and has nothing to do with the rights issue perse. @Passwelle - you kept on monitoring the situation and informing us on this thread. |
PremBrew is nothing to talk about. FYI, in the past 3 weeks i doubt if the volume traded is up to 2M units. These are 'TRAP' stocks |
Dexterax: In a bid to maintain my intellectual humility and if it means anything to some folks here, please note that Dexter has liquidated 100% of his oxygen holdings, for a 59% profit.A great man indeed. hmmmmmm, I'm still Holding on |
for FTNCOCOA lovers, pls read this link http://www.proshareng.com/news/24372/FTNCOCOA-Snapshot-on-TRANSMAR-deal |
SKYQUEST: I do have an account with Morgan. What I only see is the market trades; market orders is usually blank. To see trading orders, double click on any stock and you will see BID/OFFER details |
Something is brewing aspa Oando STOCK, High trade volume and Value today. As much as people are dumping it, there are more than enough people to mop it up ASAP with lil variance in price. Pls be Vigilant |
chukyjones: seems like its swinging back to bid..Ok Sir, I hear you. Keep doing ur trade 'solely' on fundamentals, Time will surely tell. Don't have any info on FTNCOCOA but i just posted the trading pattern on it today cos i saw a lot of excitements on peeps on this thread dreaming of N3 in no time |
SKYQUEST: how can one monitor real time the offer/bid status on the NSE. You will get access once you open account with morgan. You can check their website www.morgancapitalgroup.com for all info needed |
@all, FTNCOCOA that was selling for N0.66 in the morning now fully on offer (25M+ UNITS) @ N0.60 - N0.66. Monkey Hunting ![]() Don't claim to know anything in this market otherwise.................................................. |
AMCON is set to name the winner of Enterprise bank BID next week (hopefully Monday). Is there anybody with useful info as to the likely winner of the BID. The info i have at my disposal is that HERITAGE bank is likely to be annouced but Sterling and Fidelity are also frontrunners to clinch the Bid. This will definitely affect share price and if we have this info ASAP, we can all smile to the bank. pls do your research |
Dexterax: Bruv I dey find that your email address again...I've sent u a line via mail, pls check. Thanks |
Which way Oando I'm tempted to reduce my holding by 50% AND do JIJO on some fringe stocks |
Where is that guy shouting FIDSON last week? I can't but agree that stock market is more of 'INTELLIGENT GAMBLING' than FUNDAMENTALS |
@passwelle- You can see a lot of people are in my shoes and found the info twisted 1 way or the other. It is well, omaojo- u can state it in lay man's language. i respect your opinion, that is why i'm curious |
passwelle: Which part? Oxygen or Alibaba?Just explain the sentence if you can |
@all, I'm @ a loss @ omaojo1's post |
http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/-okomu-oil-reaping-benefits-of-cutting-cost-/188157/ CSL maintained a ‘Buy’ rating on Okomu’s stock as well as a price target of N41.5 per share. |
paulcube: There is big difference between a spin off where current investors get shares and an IPO..I concur with your point BUT i still think this kind of arrangement should not hold waters in our clime. It's complicated and can be said to be Carved out/Divestiture strategy. The complication arise from the fact that the HOTEL still belong to the Parent company (Transcorp) and i can't rationalise the floating of IPO @ N10 while parent company is trading @ N6+. Nothing wey persin no go c for this NSE market via the Cowboys. When the board of directors decides to divest a unit, it is generally because of pressure from stock market analysts. A company may unbundle a high-value unit, when it wishes to “cash in” some capital but still retain links with the unit. This typically happens when the parent’s performance is declining, its leverage is high and a need for external financing arises. In such a case, the parent tends to sell the unit via a public offering, but remains in possession of a substantial part of the equity of the divested (carved-out) company - FT.COM |
@ all, I just spoke with somebody in Morgan Capital who advised that all issues should be directed to customercare@morgancapitalgroup.com. This is no i called - 013429613 or 08107596134. He told me specifically that the problem are majorly due to improper narration of the depositor and it'll be suicidal to credit without having the correct detail. I have tried my best possible, i hope we can move on to other things. @DEXTERAX - looking @ Wapic side, what do u think. is it good to go? |
