madenigga:Na who go dash am post....we don’t want such a person |
Only death penalty for such a crime can curb this menance. Also, the State administrators should be quick in signing their death sentence when they are convicted... |
Shawnnn01:Your comprehension skill is damn too low....too bad! |
That’s is the outcome of a robust and genuine fiscal federation, where competition drives increased productivity, resource allocation efficiency and improves the capacity of the human resource to function nearly uninhibited as being. Back to Africa, Nigeria in particular, the facts are skewed and robed with greed, economic platitudes are constantly rejected and refered to as unrealistic, parasitic states are being nursed to remain unproductive despite the bountiful resources each possess. The political class, which doesn’t make up a percent of her population, keeps deceiving the ‘majority’, as we all celebrate and fight each other over recycled, career politicians. Well, we deserve the kind of leaders we have...I only feel for the intelligent few who lacks the capacity to upturn this situation. |
Most Igbos on NL are disgrace to their Kinsmen...lol |
His paid online goons should view this page and show it to him. His quality of work specifications is at par with his intelligence; you can’t give what you don’t have... Nigerians should reject this man and his kinds when they go in for the presidential contest. |
CSTR1005:I spot you, bro! |
loverboys:This is not politics, friend! These guys are getting it right with their strategy on basic education. This is the only region with such style and it’s working for them. Good one, Mr Gov.! |
mightguy:Sure, when it’s time |
AnambraDota:Lol... Well, you have the stat. to identify with: You need to be more concern about that, not me |
OMANBALA1:Nigeria... |
AmericanQuarter:‘Ease of Doing Business’ is horrible in the East |
Ofodirinwa:Do not be in hurry to jettison the truth that we created this forum. I will always be around to constructively critic your IPOD-way-of-thought if you go astray, please know that! One love, buddy! |
Ofodirinwa:This dude is a clown! Kindly stay fixed on your trapped comprehension IQ. For the last time, the problem with your region has nothing to do with a political party in office but your representatives and administrators who are not apt in politics. The Nigerian political arena is competitive, so your dunce leaders needs to know that. Political power is not given in Nigeria, it’s earned by strategically competing with the rest. Igbos should get over the loss of 2015 and forge alliance for a secured tomorrow. APC is not your problem, but the unity of your tribe and leaders. |
Ofodirinwa:First, you missed the import of my response, which is: a state Governor can’t embark solely on such capital project that cut across states. However, since you wish to derail a little, let’s ride on! You claimed APC is anti-Igbo, what did PDP do for SE. You guys had GEJ as your man, why didn’t your politicians persuade him to link Aba-Owerri-Umuahia or Asaba-Onisha-Enugu-Abakaliki? The Enugu-Onitsha express way is till deplorable till date. Under PDP, the only established airport was not functional, despite having your daughter up there. It took just few years to set-up kaduna airport under APC, but you guys failed to deliver one functional airport in 16yrs under PDP. See, the leaders in SE are greedy and gullible. Under GEJ, the old Eastern region couldn’t establish a viable trading route from Aba through Ikot-Epkene down Calabar. Go see the road linking these towns, it’s in a pitiable state, yet you want to blame APC. The lesson I’m trying to teach you is that the infrastructure deficiency in SE/SW has nothing to do with political party, but majorly on the tenacity of the politicians to push for projects and the will to see them actualize. The FG is connecting Lagos and Ibadan, Abuja-kaduna-Kano-Maduguri, while other important tracks are deferred to later phases, with your sons as minister of transport and trade. Or don’t you think Chibuike has the power to push for PH-Onitsha-Enugu rail carriage? The greater Eastern region needs to act as a group and shun their individualism. Push for project that will improve the region as a group and see to their implementation. Forget about this APC or PDP stuff, hold your representatives accountable and see to project completion. It’s sad that till today Owerri axis of Ph-Owerri road is uncompleted, same with Enugu-Onistha, yet we want to blame APC. It’s like the Black American here in the States accusing the white for their backwardness, instead of getting the right education to compete for opportunities that abound in the country |
Why would one suggest a single governor to construct railway line linking both states? You guys are very funny, for real! It’s like asking Okowa or Obiano to build the second Niger bridge, or Bello to link Lokoja to ABJ by track. Why didn’t El Rufia construst the Abuja-Kaduna metro line? See, until the leaders of the SE gets their political calculations right, you guys should stop proposing such a heculian project for a single person to embark on. And I wonder why you guys are not proposing Aba and Owerri rail route, instead of Umuhia. |
N400m for a foot bridge!! You see why politics is lucrative in 9ja! sh**t!! |
Nice! There should be a race (like a marathon) tournament on that road. This will help showcase it to the outside world. |
I don’t like any of the candidates; I prefer an independent person. Too bad my dear country is a popular two-party state |
Abagworo:This is what I call a project worth commissioning, not thoses statues. |
Abagworo:90% of WHAT! sup man? quit lying, bro!! |
This is Nigeria! |
Abagworo:The truth is most lads here don’t know how to analyze figures and make intelligent comparison. SW tops the chart with the highest number of candidates; however, Imo leads the packs. Those shouting ‘Igbo Amaka’ should relax and read through again, this time with much attention paid to figures. That said, we need more private capital flowing into our tertiary institutions to make them globally competitive, provide for the numerous applicants and position them to take up task required to be tagged a ‘graduate’ |
ChiefAzubuike:Your stupidity is gross! |
It seems only Lagos has a timely Emergency Respond Unit. Why are those vechicle and debris still in that gutter? Someone should call the right office to get on the move! |
This is one sensible remark to that ugly tragedy. |
This is laughable! What kind of money disbursement vechicle is this? I see this as an opportunity for some opportunists to siphon funds. This only happens in a Third World Nation! |
spyder880:Those shanty-like structures extending towards the road should be demolished. We need to pay proper attention to the aesthetics of our environment. Maybe the Governor will have the balls to implement a program of ‘illegal structure removal’ in his second term, that if he wins. |
Most SE political representatives are not only naive but mediocre and personal thieves. They care less about happenings in their jurisdictions. It’s pitiable that this same set of folks would be re-elected during the next electoral process. It’s no wrong being an opposition, but it’s a disgrace and shameful if you don’t play the opposition game well. |
Abagworo:In this time, it’s unintelligent to ascribe this act as a ‘continental peculiarity’; waste of public funds, which is seen everywhere in Africa, should not be celebrated. The labor union is an independent organization and gets her funding from its members. If a need to build a house for its operation arises, the members (or private donors) should be responsible. Given the paltry of funds available for most of the States, I enjoin state administrators to focus on the core issues of governance. |
