Six universities and polytechnics in Imo state are all located in or nearest to Owerri. Unique to Imo but to no other state. The young flesh of about 200,000 girls - and boys - in these education institutions drive the tourism industry in Owerri. Imopoly is nearest to Owerri. No Las Vegas or Healing River in Owerri to attract tourists.

Tell Owerri that one of the institutions needs to be relocated to Orlu or to Okigwe areas, you get demonized, or be told to organize people from Orlu or Okigwe to contribute money to establish private university in their domains. Filthy mindset.

Orlu zone made up of 12 local govt areas: Orlu Municipal, Orsu, Oru East, Oru West, Oguta, Ohaji/Egbema, Ideato South, Ideato North, Nkwerre, Nwangele, Njaba, Isu,



Owerri zone made up of 9 local govt areas: Owerri Municipal, Owerri West, Owerri North, Mbaitoli, Ikeduru, Ngor Okpala, Aboh Mbaise, Ezinihite Mbaise, Ahiazu Mbaise.

Okigwe zone made up of 6 local govt areas: Okigwe Municipal, Onuimo, Isiala Mbano, Ehime Mbano, Obowo, Ihite Uboma.

Unfortunately, the 24 local govt areas outside Owerri Municipal, Owerri West and Owerri North have been consistently denied basic development infrastructures by deceptive governors of Imo state, as the governors concentrate all infrastructures that promote modern development only in the 3 local govt areas in Owerri, and pocket what should have gone for infrastructures in the other 24 local govt areas, while people from Owerri area clap "Imo is developing." The governors thus get away with the impunity.

Thanks for your observations Sir, I like it when my readers bring things they notice in my projects for discussion. It makes me a better worker, as I learn a lot from all the inputs.

First, the use of the BQ is not exclusively residential. By this I mean that the BQ could be used as a shop in the future. Because of this reason, this private home where the BQ is situated is not planning on raising another building on the top of this one. It will be an obstruction to the beautiful view of the neighborhood.

Not only that, the top of the BQ has low hanging electric wires less than 1.5 metres from the decked roof. A sink roof, or aluminium roof would have been a serious danger to the would be occupants of the shops as any fall of wires can electrocuted those under.

Adding to this, is our desire to have water run off from the decking in a quicker time. That's the reason for the hip roof. We might not need to hang a tank on the roof as we still have plans to erect a water tank stand in another part of the compound to supply the upper floors by use of gravity.

Tbh with you, I don't care if EFCC goes after those people you mentioned. I'm only concerned about the happenings in 1 state in the SS and the 5 states in the SE. Talking about crippling Igbo businesses, may I remind you that the corrupt ex governors we had in Igboland actually did worse than this Buhari government. Let me ask you, do you think Abia, IMO and Ebonyi states are where they are supposed to be development wise in Nigeria?
We tend to talk about only the big industrialists who have suffered under the Nigerian federal government like Ibeto and Innoson but, what of the small scale enterprises like the shoe makers in Aba and Onitsha, the fabricators, the transporters, the importers, marketers and traders etc who suffer from bad roads, poor water supply etc because governors like Orji Uzor Kalu decided to use the money meant for development of the state for his personal business? How many transmission stations did these ex governors build to boost power supply in their various states? How many state and Local government roads are good? How many markets did they renovate to make the place attractive for business? I know you know what Ariaria market Aba looks like, what of Ogbete market or Mgbuka market in Anambra ( I don't know the full name )? What of water supply and quality health and education facilities?
Ndigbo have been greatly marginalized by the federal government of Nigeria and that is clear to everybody but our own state governors are even worse than the FG especially those that once ruled Ebonyi and IMO and all the governors that have ruled Abia since 1999.

If I were to be the President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo, I would have personally organized some members and paid a thank u visit to the President and EFCC boss for a job well done in making sure that useless ex governor goes to jail. Do u know what 7.4 billion would have done in Abia state?

Having built so many houses in the past, I have used Dulux, Berger, Intercolor, Sharon and Fynecoat paints. But of recent, because of lower cost and still a consistent quality, I use much of Sharon paints products these days.

I plan to use Vineyard white Matt paint for the ceilings, (made by Sharon paints) then Vineyard silk for the interior walls.

This is the last painting finish I completed this November 2019 with Sharon Vineyard paints, it was just wow!
