Jobs/VacanciesRe: It Is So Frustrating by akumbu: 5:39pm On Sep 17, 2007
Kingsol4u.
Do u also belong to the category of people looking for Jobs? who will employ you?

the problem is that a lot of Graduates are not even qualified for positions they apply for, they don't apply to the right places where they fit in. All the employment offers I 've ever got were never influenced, they were all by Merit. I made a 2:2, so dont think i made a first class, I am not saying that there people don't get employed by influence, but it is just only 20%, prove you have something to offer, add more value to the CV every other person has, make urself outstanding and apply to the Job meant for you, and then wait for people to beg you to work for or with them.
Do not be frustrated, probably u have been applying to all the vacancies u see whether u meet up with requirements or not, at the end of the day u become frustrated and tired of applications.

Fellow Nairalanders,
Can you people imagine different ways all these 419 people dupe gullible and greedy human beings? I received this message from one of them, but the question is, who ever told him I am a foreigner? pls, learn your lessons and don't fall victims. I decided to put this message forward for the world to see and be on their look out for such devils.
Read and beware of 419!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Friend,
I know that this mail will come to you as a surprise as we have never met before, but need not to worry as I am using the only secured and confidential medium available to seek for your foreign assistance in a business. I am contacting you independently of my investigation and no one is informed of this communication.
My name is Dr.Yakube Akim. I am the bill and exchange manager in African Development Bank.I Hoped that you will not expose or betray this trust and confident that I am about to repose on you for the mutual benefit of our both families.
I am writing in respect of a foreign customer of our Bank who perished along with his next of kin with Korean Air Line, flight number 801 with the whole passengers on 6th of augustus 1997 and for your perusal you can view this site http://www.cnn.com/WORLD/9708/06/guam.passenger.list
Since the demise of this our customer, I personally has watched with keen interest to see the next of kin but all has proved abortive as no one has come to claim his funds of US$8.3M (Eight Million Three Hundred Thoudsand United States Dollars) which has been with our branch for a very longtime.
On this note, I decided to seek for whom his name shall be used as theNext of Kin since nobody is coming for the fund again. The Banking ethics here does not allow such money to stay more than 12 years, because the money will be recalled to the Bank treasury as unclaimed fund after this period.
In view of this I got your contact through the internet when I was making a research for a foreigner that I will use in this great opportunity because I dont want the money to be recalled to our Bank treasury as uncliamed fund.
I am offering you 40% of the total sum if you agree to execute this transaction with me and the rest 60% will be for me.
The reason for a foreigner in the business is for the fact that the deceased man was a foreigner and it is not authorized by the law guiding our Bank for a citizen of this country to make such claim.
This is the reason while the request of you as a foreigner is necessary to apply for the release and transfer of the fund smoothly into your reliable Bank account.
If you are really sure of your integerity, trustworthy and confidentiality, and accept not to cheat or disappoint me after this business, reply with your telephone and fax numbers and Banking account details where you wish to receive the fund.
Upon receipt of the above mentioned informations, indicating your interest in the business,I will draft and send to you by fax or e-mail a letter of application which you will re-copy and send back to our Foreign Remittance Department in our Bank, for easy execution of the transaction.
I will not fail to bring to your notice that this business is hitch free and don't have any negative implication .Please you should not entertain any fear as I have made all modalities for the smooth and easy transfer of this fund to your account. This transaction will be completed within 14 Bank working days immediately we start the business.
Please observe utmost confidentiality and be rest assured that this transaction would be most profitable for both of us because I shall require your assistance to invest my share in your country immediately after the transaction.
Waiting for your urgent response and please kindly delete if you are not interested.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Work Force Entry Level Recruitment! by akumbu: 10:20am On Aug 31, 2007
Why dont they differentiate between training and recruitment.
They want to play tricks on us.
Thay said entry level recruitment, they when u get da, they will tell you to pay to be trained before the assessment for recruitment.
please fello lansders, use your brain and run for your dear lives.
let them tell us the nature of the tarining, duration and how much, we will then individually decide if its worth applying for.
if they want o recruit, which i doubt, then there should not be any fee for a job u dont even have yet.
act wisely please.

I know a man that the wife is the bread winner of their family and he still beats the wife always given the reason as frustration even when the woman was pregnant,
such a man should never be respected.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Where Is The Experience? by akumbu: 12:23pm On Aug 28, 2007
You are suppose to gain experience from the small companies, where you will learn and earn little salary.
The problem is that a lot of graduate will want to earn millions and that's why they look at big companies and multinationals where they will earn fat salary with the assumption that 'by the virtue of being graduate's.
Let me ask you one question, if I tell you to come and work for me so that I will teach you, i.e, you gain experience you require for your career and pay you just your transport fare, will you agree? that's the problem, we always look at the wrong direction.
where to earn big money without addind a single value to the organisation.
experience has taught the companies the best way to shortlist huge application from qualified and unqualified applicants to any position advertised.

what can you offer to a company? have you taught of that? apart from just doing what u will be asked to do, which everyother person can do.
Let me save other peoples' time and stop.
