Jobs/VacanciesRe: People Prime Flop? by akumbu: 3:07pm On Jul 30, 2007
They did not plan well on how to manage the crowd.
it was a total waste of time and resources.
Those of us that came in at last hour to drop our CV's inside cartorns, 80% of the last CVs collected will go to trash cos they never had time to look at us.
some companies like see drill had already gone before it got to my turn and so many others turn to enter the hall.
I thinks the fair was a total flop.
I agree with those that said, pple prime is not a charity organisation, the fair was sponsored and supported by so many companies, moreso, it was an opportunity for them to increase their clientele.
I suggest they keep our database with them for their clients and they should find a way of compensating for their lapses.

Christianity EtcRe: Chris Oyakhilome, Is He A Man From Satan? by akumbu: 10:05am On Jul 19, 2007
are you worshipping God or Pastor?
if a pastor should perm his hair , what will he teach the congregation? some of us are so myopic that we pretend to be believers of God, but actaully believe in their Pastors.
pastors will not lead u to hell. they are after their business(the money thay are making from pple that fall victims). be careful of who you listen and follow, watch out, there so many devils that use the name of God, dont be deceived by trying to protect them by saying dont judge, the outward appearance shld be a sign of the unknowns.
There will be surprises on that day, cos a lot of pple u expect in heaven, may not be there.
the KOKO be say 'where will you end up?'

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Which Is Your Bank Of Choice And Why? by akumbu: 11:49am On Jul 17, 2007
Nigerian Banks are only interested in opening account, Banks now do all sorts of promo, open account and win, save money and win, win win win win all the time.
The main things they are suppose to do like SME funding, schorlaships, community development, assisting in project financing as a join venture capitalist, they will require all the land and property belonging to your kindred and ancestors as cllateral, its all crap.
The only bank i can give kudos is Intercontinental Bank for their community development services, the rest are all fraudsters, duping pple and luuting funds. the worst banks for these reasons are bankPHB, ecobank, Skye bank, Fidelity and the rest that i have not approached for SME funding for my project or even a joint venture capital.
In terms of service provision, the worst is UBA, the best is GTB and Diamond bank.
i dont know aboy staff welfare, but i do share experiences with pple that work in d/f Banks,
i can give it to Intercobtinental and Oceanic, then Zenith bank.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Who Pays More Afri Bank Or Wema Bank ? by akumbu: 11:19am On Jul 17, 2007
Na wa ohhhhhhhhh, this issue of always asking for how much to be paid is really sickning. I sjob all about pay? even when you cant tackle the responsibilities? I thinkwe shld put more effor on achievemnets, making ourselves indispensable at our work place and then use that as our negosiating tool.
A lot of pple dont get employed cos of this attitude of pay package.
na wa ohhhhhhh, it is getting too much.
that's why every fresh graduate will want to go to bank and hide under the good one and receive fat salaries without adding any value to themselves.
this is really disheartning.

Naira landers, Is work all about pay?
It is highly embarrassing that the only thing a lot of job beekers are interested in is how much they will be paid. even when the person has nothing to offer, somebody with empty brain that doesn't even know the scope of job, will first ask for pay before he/she knows the responsibilities.

It is a very bad attitude, a lot of pple have been bounced by intended employer b/c of that, yet we will never learn.
Use your indispansability as you negotiating tool in the company, accept any offer first and proove your worth, then you can negotiate, when they stock with your performance and services.
That is why everybody is fighting to get a job in the bank where your brain is not needed for anything and you earn fat salary. ot they go to big organisations and hide under the cover of few brilliant ones and collect salary without any positive input, how will such an employer keep you for long? you will be laid off soon and you come back to hunt for job.

Go to small organisation and get traine, gatter your experiences and move to bigger ones, acquire skills while you are still searching 4 a job and add value to that paper certificate u have , that gives you an edge over other job seekers.
dont look out for money as a beginner, look out for exposure and knowledge.
