The fraud is not the only problem, but the resignation of people to the fact that its now the norm and will soon be swept under the carpet. If we come home now to speak up, them go say ''who this one dey form for, you no know say na 9ja you dey??''

PoliticsRe: Why Are Nigerians In Diaspora So Bitter? by alajor(m): 6:04pm On Oct 05, 2012
@op, I must let u know dat nigerians that live abroad r not bitter but angry at d way things r in nigeria. I live here in south africa and I am gainfully employed by d department of justice here in south africa as a foreign interpreter for nigerian languages and I run other businesses with my own employees. I must tell u that we only show our anger on 9ja forums, nobody brags about nigeria d way we do over here. South africans r always surprised when they c some slums in our 9ja movies, they say that d way we talk about 9ja one would think dat this kind of slums can not be found in 9ja. U guys at home give us news about home, when there was an improvement on power supplies I told every nigerian that I know and u could see how happy they really were about dat singular good news from home. Nigerians that r here r always happy to hear of positives from home but we get very angry at the way things r done at home. Sometimes when I'm driving I would ask myserlf why can't my country b like this, where everything works, power, water, good roads, and other basic amenities. Since I've been here I've never seen a soak-away,I still don't know where my shyt goes to after flushing. Nigerians at home.pls we r not bitter but angry at our rulers

Venchy: Can someone tell me the importance of this guy picture on the cost of living in the country.

Umm...Nigerians worship money and it's unbelievable, poverty.

My people getting big is not money but ignorant on healthy living and self negligent but most nigerians believes that once you are big means you have money but it's all FAT and that leads to many sickness which nigerian government has no facilities for when it comes to treatment as our leaders couldn't be treated in the country but FLY OUT TO ABROAD.

Keep fit,eat well and stop all this MONEY SYNDROME.

PhonesRe: Nigeria's Active Mobile Telephone Lines Now 105.2 Million by alajor(m): 9:08am On Oct 05, 2012
luluosas: With this GSM growth as published by NCC, which is not commensurate with the quality of service being offered by these GSM providers, it shows we the subscribers have a long way to go.
But come oh, is NCC taking these new connected lines to mean one line per one new GSM subscriber? I laugh in Edo language!
Nigerians, don't be deceived. These new connected lines are just recycling among the existing users, who are buying more network Sim cards, to avoid being trapped in a tight corner, by reason of the POOR services these rapers of our 'collective wealth' are providing.
Number portability will address these nonsense by the time it will come into effect.
Although I have not traveled out of Nigeria before but, I just want to ask: Does the American people uses more than one network at a time? Do they do have SPRINT, AT&T, T-Mobile, Verison and other network providers Sim cards as we Nigerians do?
Imagine me having 4 Glo, 1 MTN, 1 Etisalat and 1 Airtel lines at the same time. Reasons - BAD POOR SERVICE.
Not really, I live here in south africa and there r people that's use two lines but most of them r nigerians,me included. Most households in south africa have land lines and there r very cheap call centres almost in every street here in the cities. I must say that the promotions here by mtn, vodacom, cellc r always good, they give u discounts always, they r trying to beat competition with cheaper rates. And the only reason why I have a second line is because its very cheap when u use it to call 9ja not because I dey form big boy as is the case wit most nigerians at home.
PoliticsRe: No Reliable Statistics On Nigeria's Poverty Rate- World Bank by alajor(m): 8:50am On Oct 05, 2012
BlackBaron: A great percentage of Nigerians remain poor.

I certainly don't believe most live on less than a $1 a day tag. It's so corny.
U no believe am abi...$1 is about #150, olboy most people dey go for one month dem no go see dat kain money for a single day. Some dey make #20,50,100,120 a day. That's still living under 1dollars a day
PoliticsRe: No Reliable Statistics On Nigeria's Poverty Rate- World Bank by alajor(m): 8:45am On Oct 05, 2012
chucky234: Poverty has become synonymous with the name "Nigeria",whenever the outside world thinks of poverty Nigeria comes to mind and our fraudulent government is doing absolutely nothing to address the issue.
You don't need technology to know Nigeria's poverty rate,go to Ajegunle,Makoko,Ikorodu,Mushin,Okoko,Ajagbandi,Ijora, and few other slums in other states to see their living condition.
U forgot to say*to mention a few* cus almost every part in nigeria is a slum. Travel and see
