Good Morning.. I have 400 layers bird at 13 weeks..pls can you give me a guide on how to go about giving 3-1 vaccination for layers... I ask what it will cost to get it at where we got our feeds . The lady said it cost 15,500 . For the vaccination . Is she right? Thanks ... in total we have 1000Birds, 400 lays .. 550 broiler ... @13weeks. And 17weeks turkey.. they consume 1 bag of top feed daily .. is my feeding ok? Keep up the good work.. I notice some r small n not as big as other .

pls Dis your pullet did you buy them at 13 wks or you rear them to that pt, also your broilers

I got 90% output from my birds yesterday, something I never thought possible on deep litter. My birds completed their 26th week run yesterday. No light stimulation, just the 12hours natural lightning. All I maintained is good and hygienic environment. I wash their drinkers every morning. This is my first time in this business, maybe I was just lucky cause I have no experience at all and to God be the glory I don't lose just one.... but I keep reading books about poultry and applying the little knowledge derived thereafter.

Make sure they grind the combination as smooth as possible.
Then you put the qty of water you need for the pap on fire.
When the water boils,u add your pap and stir continously till the level of thickness you desire.
If its too thick you could add water to it.

For the pol, the seller should be able to give accurate answers and explanation to the followings :
breed of the birds
source of birds I.e hatchery
age in weeks
picture and video of birds
weight of bird
vaccination chart and video when vaccinating.
flock uniformity
cage or litter reared
disease treated.

if the seller is able to give accurate answers to these questions, you're good to go.

Go to the hatchery your self and buy what you want to buy there.

A day old broiler chick is between 150-180 depending on your location and hatchery.
Next month it's increasing.

Poultry makes sense but it's not a quick money venture. Firstly, get your business plan well and your market.
