It was a terrible election, last Saturday in Ebonyi state, governor Umahi paid all the 13 LGA EOs #10m each in cash. APC wouldn't have won Ebonyi on free and fair election.

it is 3 persons from the 774 local government in Nigeria that will vote in this APC primaries...delegates are voters that will actively vote in a party's primary election.. there are delegates for house of assembly, reps, senate, governorship and presidential primaries.

How come PDP presidential delegates were not up to this number.

The ruling of the Appeal Court in Enugu today on the reinstatement of former Gov. David Umahi of Ebonyi State was an appeal filed by the gubernatorial candidate of the APC in 2019 in Ebonyi, Sen. Sonni Ogbuoji against the former governor. It has nothing to do with the one of PDP which is in Abuja.

Senator Sonni Ogbuoji is saying that INEC should swear him in as governor since he's the flag bearer of the APC in the 2019 gubernatorial election in the state. The high court in Abakaliki ruled in favour of Umahi. It's on that ground that Ogbuoji appealed. So, the two of them are contesting who should be regarded as APC governor in Ebonyi State.

I hardly make a post or comment on nairaland. I can't come here and post frivolous news. I'm not also here to drag the issue with you, because I'm apolitical. You probably don't live in Ebonyi state or you are one of them. But nemesis will surely catch up with all of you.

When we say 'the inhumanity of man against his fellow man, is evil in the sight of God', we don't mince words.
This my friend in the picture below, was in the early hours of yesterday, whisked away by the operatives of the Ebonyi state command of Ebubeagu and tortured to near death.

What was his offense?
According to him, there's this girl from his village in Abakaliki area, whom he trained from primary school up to secondary school, where she sat for WAEC last year. Both him and the young girl have agreed to get married next year, but the elder brother to the girl said over his dead body would he allow that to happen.

The girl's brother then tortured her in order for her to leave the young man and also forget about the marriage, but the girl refused to adhere to his instructions.
When the humiliation became tensed, the girl ran away from home to Enugu (supposedly, her relative's house). She never informed her fiancé of her whereabouts.

After searching for his sister for some days to no avail, he (brother) then invited Ebubeagu, Abakaliki command, bribed them and alleged that my friend kidnapped his sister. He (my friend) was arrested yesterday morning by Ebubeagu and taken to Ebonyi State former government house, where their office is.

On getting there, he was hand-cuffed to a tree and flogged mercilessly to a point of comma. The girl in question called my friend while he was in detention and she told Ebubeagu that nobody kidnapped her.
He was later released after the torture without any charges for kidnapping as alleged.
This is the second time aside what others complain about Ebubeagu, that a friend of mine had been victim of the high handedness of Ebubeagu, in fact, the first person was shot dead in front of his house in October this year.

These people are supposed to be in the forests fighting Fulani herdsmen and kidnappers and not killing and maiming innocent Ebonyians.
The state govt released hardened criminals and well known cultists from correctional centers into Ebubeagu security outfit. These same people are also sent to torment opposition political party members. People fear Ebubeagu in Ebonyi state more than armed robbers, you can't walk freely on the streets of Abakaliki and environs, once it's 9pm.
Are they not supposed to arrest and hand over to the police?
