The Southern Nigeria's Peoples Assembly, SNPA, Afenifere, OPC, Ohaneaze Ndiigbo, Yoruba Council of Obas/ Traditional Rulers, SDP, UPN, NGOs, etc., etc., all advised Tinubu's SW APC on the plot of the North to seize political-power from former President Jonathan and the entire South, but what did Tinubu and his uninformed followers do? Betrayed the entire South. They even defied the Ooni of Ife, as being bought/paid off by Jonathan. Even the Soyinkas and Falanas of the SW knew, but they sold out for the sake of tribalism. Femi Aribisila warned this would happen and no one listened. The North is taking Tinubu apart before his own eyes. The only thing that will save Nigeria is when SW, SS and SE come together as one and move the country forward. We have seen North in power for over 38 years and nothing to show for it. These three regions needs each other for Nigeria to step out of poverty and reach its potential and dream. Bickering never solve any problem. This is a task and challenge that could be overcome, but very difficult. The earlier the leaders of these three regions come to this reality the better for all. I understand that Trust requires track record. The longer we delay to put our personal differences aside the longer the damage will take to be repaired. Have a great day. |

Mr President, with joy in my heart i want to say a big congratulation to you towards your victory in the just concluded presidential election were, indeed the significant of decmocracy was throuhly experienced. Mr president i understand the state of the nation and the work load on you based on the promises you made during your campaigns, which made many nigerians develop that trust in you and also casted thier votes for you. Indeed nigerians are expecting so much from you mr president because we have indeed suffered alot, but i believe you would make a positive difference before the end of your administration. My name is Justice Omu-Ezeorgu, and i hail from Ikwerre Local Govt Area of the Ikwerre Ethnic Nationality in Rivers state, I won't start by giving dates and facts of what has happened in several occasions in different part of the country today when it comes to handling of criminals. I so much believe in you Mr president, you are without doubt a man of the law, your a man who believes in human rights , so i want to plead with you to read and think on this letter with some prospective as a man of the law. Mr president jungle justice is not new to you, myself and many nigerians out there as many case of jungle justice have been experinced in different part of the country, were most times innocent people are been murdered. I urge you Mr President to please reconsider and ensure that a bill is signed to ban all activities of ''jungle justice'' in the country and anyone who kills someone in that reason for jungle justice should face death penalty. We have the police force and security agencies, i expect any criminal caught by anyone, or group shoud be handed over to the police force and face judgement. Even at the rate of civilization in the world today jungle justice is still experience in nigeria as in the case of ''Aluu-Four'' were four students were been burnt alive, it is really a shame on our dear country. We have laws to handle such cases. we are civilized, we are not leaving in a jungle, we are leaving in a society were the rule of law can bring justice to the least citizen in the community at large. Families are been thorn apart, people are been wrongly accused, died for nothing because the citizens know there is nothing anybody can do about it even if in some cases police presence was there and yet they were helpless, i know many nigerians out there are in support of my proposal but all thesame sir, i plead to you to please use this oppurtunity as the president to stop the act of jungle justice in our dear country nigeria. If i was the president this would be the first thing i will do while in my stay in office. But i'm just a student and this is the very first step i'm taking to ensure that jungle justice is eradicated from our dear country, i strongly condem this act, it is without doubt repugnant to me and most nigerians out there. I wish that the wind of change would find its way to this act of jungle justice for the betterment of everyone of us. Best regards Mr president as you run the affairs of this great nation, i pray that God continue to protect, strenghten and keep you healthy all through and beyond your administration, Amen. (respect to: Vanguard, punch, thisday and Tkreporters) :Justice .E. Omu-Ezeorgu.

The creeks of Calabar were yesterday bombed by the Nigerian Air Force for over an hour following orders of the Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshall Adesola Amosu, DailyTrust reports. Commander of the 207 Special Mobility Group based in Calabar, Air Commodore Charles Ohwo said the air force was able to bomb suspected targets in the entire creeks of Calabar waterways up to Bakassi and environs and that the raid would extend to creeks in Akwa Ibom State. He said the exercise was planned in conjunction with the Navy, Army and police, but led by the Air Force “because of reach and air advantage. Innocent lives were not affected.” Gunmen suspected to be pirates and militants on the Calabar waterways carry out frequent attacks on vessels, police stations and seafarers including market women on the Calabar waterways. while Coming back from Rumuokwuta in a public vehicle, we suddenly met go slow in chinda, mile 4 here in port harcourt to our suprise there were different sounds of gunshot, we all came down to protect our head, some of the resident of the area said some group of armed boys attacked about 2 to 3 army hilux packed at the junction, which led to the shooting.. More Details shortly..... |
Though i have not visited lagos state before, Lolz, they (mostly the igbos) normally say we the ikwerres hardly travel and that we can only leave port harcourt for academic reasons.. But listen most igbos i have met always say '' Lagos is a no mans lands''.. But from the 1) fashola deportation saga 2) Oba of lagos threat to the igbos 3) Igbos complaining of marginalisation in lagos 4) How igbos are not considered in lagos politics 5) Fans mocking desmond elliot over adding a yoruba name ''Olushola'' to his name Shortly after he declared his intention to run for a seat in the Lagos State House of Assembly 6) How fashola shuts down igbo dominated markets in lagos and lost more. My question is Is Lagos Really A No Mans Land ![]() No insults thanks.. |
fullish igbos tell ur greedy brodas to come bak.. We wil soon do worst dan dis in port harcot.. |

explorer250:Point of correction Mr. Jona, stop brian washing those elders. because: 1. South east is not the Support base of Pdp as Anambra and Imo are apga states... but rather south south.. even with the so called Amaechi the ikwerre man who decamped tp Apc has not even succeeded in turning rivers an apc state. 2. You Jona, you will not give south east any state... And to me the south east those not need an adittional state because: (a) there land mass is toooo small, smallest amongst othere zone to have an adittional sate. (b) Igbos dont stay in there state, they are wakawaka people so they need no more state. (c) they offer nothing to nigeria, why trying to create more borden for nigeria? (d) lastly there population.. |
that is the effect of waka waka, igbos been investing and residing in a strange land since 1914. why will i leave port harcourt{ikwerre land} and bye land and base in the south east, south west or north? i shop crase?.... Ma ana carry ana house too ooh ontop of ana head as ana dey cum bak.. If ur tinking of investing outside your region you better start having a rethinking. |
