my ex b.f. who is now married with a kid still calls me sometimes i get disturbed over such calls. most times we just talk about everything but nothing in particular and each time i always ask about his wife and baby as a reminder to him that he is married. he actually proposed to me 2009 but I couldn't pull through with him because i felt he wont make me happy eventually, i remembered last year when he called me and started refreshing my memory on how i broke his heart and all. I am trying to forget him but each of his calls makes me wonder how it would have been between us, i am really ashamed of such thoughts i mean , what does he want? why does he still call? how do i handle him? do i still receive his calls? please help me out.

As the year 2012 is finally wounding down, I would like to bring to your notice some common comments made on nairaland:

1. Much ado abt what makes the front page.....
Comments like 'so this poo made the front page? Well I am gonna do this or that....'I don't think is compulsory to open all topics on the front page, I love the frontpage a lot cos is like a shortcut for me and I have so many options/topics to select ranging from entertainment to politics.

2. Price of garri.......
That's the most senseless comments ever....'.how does this affect the price of garri?' Or the league of I will just add gnuts or sipping zobo etc I don't think is mandatory for one to comment on every post,you can just view and move on. I miss nairalands of those days when only reasonable people respond to questions and even help you solve a problem without making jest of the OP.

3. First to comment.....
This is the most childish of all comment, someone in desperate need for help or suggestions posts on nairaland and some 'children let loose on rampage on nairaland page' ignore it and instead struggle to be the first to comment.

And finally those that quote a very long topic, most times they are articles that the OP copied somewhere and pasted on nairaland, only to put a smiley or 'an hmmm,ok' at the end of the long quote, I wouldn't group it as a comment.

That's kind of harsh. Nails are very natural and God given just like the hair, to grow it long or not varies on individual. I am not mentioning here guys that paint their nails that so out of it, that's when you could talk of adornment. I am only pointing out an unusual and wierd habit by 'some' men who prefer growing one or more particular finger nails. no vex abeg.

I don't seem to get it, some men grow nails on a preferred finger like the thumb or the little finger, it could be any of the fingers, the only eye catching thing is that the particular nail is abnormally longer than the others, some grow the whole 5 or 10 finger nails long. So NL guys what's your reason, especially you reading this now, with a long nail, why do you keep long nails?
