Career / Re: What Business Should I Go Into? by Alert(f): 11:09pm On Mar 23, 2017
I like the passion in you, this shows your industrious. The truth is you can't work and successfully manage a business at the same time. It almost never work, you keep leaving it in the hands of people to run because of your work and most times this people are not accountable. I tested and tried it, it left me with a closed down dry cleaning business and a non functional salon.
But I didn't give up, have you considered Network Marketing, Donald trump and the likes of Robert Kiyosaki has said that it is the future business of the 21st century.
I am currently in one now, I get my passive residual income from them every week, you get the product worth the money registered for and you are also being paid for buying the product. You can decide also to sell it and make profit.....you earn both ways wink it's a win win situation smiley please run from ponzu schemes and virtual currencies as they have no products to show for the money you invested.

@ isaacbuchi thanks for the prayers, Amen. I can only give one like grin..

.
miqos02:
@op, since u are just starting, negotiate a profit sharing arrangement with them
that's like work share, the way is done in Abuja is 50:50. From my research I noticed that stylist are only willing to accept that in an already established salon with lots of clients....they are quite reluctant to work with a startup on a profit sharing basis, most prefer salary. Also the salon's location is in a market.
Business / Re: My Salon Is Ready For Business But No Stylist by Alert(f): 12:09pm On Aug 09, 2015
Yes it does. You have indirectly answered the question you didn't understand when you said I have to first develop confidence on the staff before leaving the salon to him to fully manage and we agree on a monthly remittance . So two things, look for desperate stylist or those that just finished their apprenticeship. Thanks

Business / Re: My Salon Is Ready For Business But No Stylist by Alert(f): 8:50am On Aug 09, 2015
Thanks @ Isaacbuchi, i almost became discouraged after I have exhausted the list of stylist I have plus those who would connect me to those stylist...I never realize how important those stylist were until I finished building my salon.

Right now I am talking to someone who is in owerri, who said he is a professional stylist and wants 50k as salary? He would be coming from owerri to Abuja.

Abuja stylist want an already made 'big' salon so I noticed...or do I just get someone to manage it and how much will the person pay per month? Besides I have already bought lots of hair products and accessories I displayed for sale, how do I go about that?
Also I want to sometimes come in and maybe do some minor works like helping wash a customer hair etc. or would I just stay off when I hand it over to someone to mange? Help pls
Business / My Salon Is Ready For Business But No Stylist by Alert(f): 11:17am On Aug 08, 2015
I have worked months, invested money and time to get my salon ready to be opened for business but stylist seemed to be difficult finding......I have been given several contacts as stylist but they don't always turn up even after agreeing to pay them on salary based instead of work and share. Even the one that came around, never came back again and they don't pick up their numbers to say why.

Somehow I think it's because it's a new salon and it's location is in the market but then again there several salons in that market

Please I need experienced salon owners to advice about the best way go about getting a stylists and also committed to do the job.

Please the location of the salon s n Abuja.

ujoatu: 15 Then Naaman and all his
attendants went back to the man
of God. He stood before him and
said, “Now I know that there is no
God in all the world except in
Israel. So please accept a gift from
your servant.”
16 The prophet answered, “As
surely as the LORD lives, whom I
serve, I will not accept a thing.”
And even though Naaman urged
him, he refused.
thieves now called "men of God" do the opposite
That was part of the reading during mass, and i wondered why nobody has ever made reference to that part of the bible

Religion / Why Dont I Fall Under 'anointing' by Alert(f): 11:33am On Jan 20, 2013
I have been to some power packed christians programmes where i have people falling around me even to the extent of almost knocking me down but i am always smart to carefully dodge them. The last programme i went for at MFM, got me really worried and thinking, i went with my sister to the church, lo and behold my sis was falling all over the place while i was unmoved, it shocked me cos we are siblings. I later asked her how she felt, she told me she didnt know what she was doing that her body moved on its own accord and she felt hot inside undecided before then i used to think most of it were fake or people just feel like falling but with my sis experience, it got me really thinking deeply, why dont i fall under anointing?

Car Talk / What Extra Things Do You Always Carry In Your Car? by Alert(f): 2:08pm On Jan 10, 2013
What are those things you must always carry in your car, items u can't do without on a daily basis, apart from those things that VIO or FRSC require you to carry in your car.

For me my car booth is an extension of my shoe rack, i carry all kinds of shoes, work shoes to casual shoes. sometimes i may throw in one or two cloths even a ribbon(hairpiece). grin there are times i pity security guys at checkpoints who have to open my car booth. lol smiley
