As gifted intellectuals,why can't we pick up our pen and send write-ups,just as we're doing here, to international magazines and tabloids especially in the US about the true identity and characterstic of a nigerian.

It is not in all cases that one bad apple spoils the bunch.

I think a peace rally is more relevant and result-oriented than an anti-war rally.

In my opinion,i recognise one thing:your intentions,desire,decisions in everything you do matter.

Everything man created (including religion) with an "appropriate" (emphasis is mine) intention will definitely produce an appropriate result.

But the greatest problem is not religion as widely acclaimed,BUT MAN INTENTIONS(which is known Only to him).

He created religion with an intention,so he knows the source.

Learning the culltures of other societies is part of education but i wonder why the story and culture is so important that most nigerians have forgotten their village and community history.

Based on historical facts supported by  biblical injunctions, jesus christ is a social critic and crusader against corruption in a  religious goverment.

Secondly,jesus christ had good knowledge of the customs and traditions of his society as enshrined in the constitution and that was why he was able to criticise constructively and he was always justified.

Jesus was a fearless voice,very intelligent,articulate,impartial,critical,etc .In a religious society and even in a normal society,these are qualities of an extraordinary human being who is fit to be given any special name like for example SON OF GOD.

The truth is that the imbalance  in the world economy made business smooth for them.

Here in europe where everything,electricity,water,gas,accomodation,food,clothes and job is a right it's a different mentality and few are interested in stories.

The israelites just like every other nation passed through turbulent period in their history and naturally human beings tend to look here and there because they want to live and that is what nigeria is going through.

It is simply  either the rejection of theism, or the position that deities do not exist. In the broadest sense, it is the absence of belief in the existence of deities.

I agree there was a flood which was not  a worldwide one but localised (within the middle-east,may be mesopotamia region).
Secondly,your analysis make sense but your 'evidences' are unbiblical and scientifically theoritical meaning that the bible is incomplete and rationally the handwork of men with 'intentions' and not of God as acclaimed.

My reasons are that only a very rich man could have ventured into that project and not because of moses story or what moses was made to believe. Futhermore, more than 2acres of forest trees would have been wasted and that is even environmental degradation.

You don't seem to have a good grasp of the techniques of numerology as far as the ancient jewish tradition is concerned.

You know from where you come from (i don't know) that no man can live up to 130 years naturally not to talk of 480years and above so i would advise you to do some research in that area.

Finally,no technology on earth can build a ship of that size(made of wood) without a shipyard because that is the only place where the shipkeel(for bouyancy) can be constructed.

And may be i have lost connection with history but i don't think noah's ark(if there was any of that size) remained the largest on earth untill 1858.

Historically speaking, with the technology and labour available to Noah ,Please explain how he managed   to complete the construction  in his life time a ship of that size and strenght that was able to survive a flood?Do you believe in a God that made all these "possible" for "mr holy" Noah and a situation where today it takes centuries for the numerous "mr devils" to achieve what noah presumably achieved .

Very few are in full control of their mind and are ready to develop it and also accept the consequence of their action.Majority rely on external influence or stimulus for them to think and utilise the resources in their mind.

Personally,every human being is in control of his or her mind but the degree of control varies.

Recognise and believe that you can speak without stammering.

Do you think mary could had concieved and bore other children through joseph after the belief that she is forever a virgin?

The word itself gives no certain indication of the exact nature of the kinship. James, as well as Jude and Simon who are sometimes advanced as direct kin to Jesus, were not the sons of Joseph and Mary. The New Testament cites Mary as the Mother of Jesus exclusively. Mary's annual pilgrimage to Jerusalem (Luke 2:41) would have been improbable if she had other offspring since she would be caring for a great many children if these are assumed to be all hers (Matthew 12:46; Mark 3:31; Luke 8:19; Acts 1:14). It is unlikely that she would have made this annual pilgrimage so often while pregnant and with an increasing number of small children to care for (at least four other sons and of several daughters, Matthew 13:56). At His death Jesus recommended His mother to St. John. The care of His mother would have fallen to his brothers, who, if apostles, were still alive. In fact, it would have been their duty to care for her. Yet, they make no claim and Christian Tradition speaks of her living in St. John's care until the end of her life.

Secondly,you need to understand the fact that the bible is a make-believe story that has gone through cultural and political influence before you finally have access to it.

Show me where it was recorded that mary(the mother of christ) was pregnant a second,third, fourth,etc and if joseph was responsible?

According to reported story in the bible,when joseph discovered that mary was with a child,he got a revelation that it was through the power of the holy spirit.

Subsequently,the bible was silent concerning the actions that joseph took later but events show that there was a secret legal separation between the two .

My reasons are as follows:

-Joseph was not present at the miraculous conversion of water into wine
-joseph was not present at the scene of the crucifixion
-joseph was not present on the pentecost day with other disciples
