First and most importantly, I want to thank God for this success of my application and for giving me my PPR!! He alone is worthy to be praised. I also wanna thank everyone who helped me one way or the other by answering all my questions.
Here’s my story, timeline and documents:

My Visa application journey started February last year.
After 4 months of waiting, My first application was refused in June for “personal assets and financial status” reasons. I Ordered for my gcms notes, the VO stated that my funds were too modest (small) & doesn’t seem available & sufficient.

So, I deferred my admission from September to January 2022 . My friend advised I changed my course from a three-year course to one that lasted for two years since both will get you a 3year work permit at the end of the day.. so I changed my course, but still within the same field (IT/Computing)

I began another application journey, but this time, I decided to include my bank statements too. So I told my sponsor who is also my step-father to start sending my remaining tuition fees and living expenses into my account so I can apply when it’s complete.

So he sent 7 million in July, 8million in September, and 3 million in October. He also liquidated one of his fixed accounts and sent 10 million into his savings account

I Reapplied on November 11, 2021 with the initial documents I submitted in my first application with a letter of explanation explaining how I have addressed the visa officer’s concerns.

I deferred my application again to May 2022, then the long wait started till I got my PPR yesterday night.

Application: Old portal (November 11 2021)
Upfront medicals- December 6, 2021
Medical passed- December 17, 2021
Eligibility review started - February 2022
PPR & BVL - March 24, 2022

Letter of sponsorship

Sponsor’s Bank statements (12 million)
My own bank statements ( 20 million ) - I had 2 million in my account before, so he sent 18million
Valuation of his landed properties (3buildings - 90million in total )
Letter from Sponsor’s UK employer

Payslips for 4months

They just supported that woman blindly, she asked for 2 tabs and I went to her with 3 tabs, she was pushing and bouncing me around all through the transaction not knowing she had mission , she never mentioned YouTube but I went there with 3 tabs that can do YouTube unknowingly, she was busy blackmailing me on here because she’s a social media marketer for a company, it’s her job , she claimed the tabs couldn’t do YouTube but we later realized at the police station that the 3 tabs are YouTube compatible , 2 Android version 4.4.2 and 1 Android version 5.0 , I also got to know that she reset the tabs making her to lose about 20 educational apps I installed on them, she claimed i changed the tab but when they checked all her pics are on the tab, even the one she returned is android version 4.4.2 with her pics on it, all YouTube enabled, I won’t touch any of them, if not that she returned the tabs I wouldn’t have known she was just lying.
I don’t sell with YouTube and I have never mentioned that in my adverts here.
But the tabs can run YouTube, they police plug the one she said was not charging and they were just looking at her because it was also a fat lie, she still took same tabs she rejected happily saying she’s now enjoying her YouTube enabled Tabs, but why the trouble in the first place? Imagine this woman made a video of me from the day oneonbefore

too bad, but you should settle amicably...you can't use force or threats to thwart what has been done, I pray the other parties involved should unquote and delete whatever derogatory post they did on your person....this is quite disheartening to be frank

Those tabs would be use for giveaway in this same nairaland because they are now a source of anger and their papa no trust tech guru again but my lawyer advices against till this case is finish.i am waiting.

I was at Ikoyi yesterday for renewal of passport. The agent I wanted to use was telling me that the capturing date will be around May 17 if apply. She charged me 45K. I now asked him that after capturing when will I collect my passport. he said that if I need it urgent I will drop 10k so that I will collect it same day or within the week. I asked her if i didn't pay the 10k when will it come out he said that it will be within 6 weeks. I had already filled the form he gave me and about to pay. I wasn't comfortable with the response. The essence of paying 45k is to fasten it. I noticed that they don't have control of dates of capturing. It is computer generated. Why should I pay you such amount. I told her that the date is too far. She suggested Festac that they have a closer date of April.

I have decided to DIY.

I want to renew my passport. I'm filling the form now. Please which date is closer for capturing (Ikeja, Festac, Ikoyi).
At what stage do we submit documents? Is it the day of appointment for capturing or before.
Which of the 3 centers are friendly for DIY
