It was indeed a sad ceremony for the family of Okonkwo and Chukwuanu as they bury their mother and sister late Mrs Cord‎elia Chiwendu Chukwuanu, ‎ known from her formative years as Ada Papa Uwa‎.

The burial ceremony attracted the high and mighty in the corridors state influence‎ and power. From the funeral service and interment held in her home  to the final reception as Senator Annie Okonkwo residence in Ojoto. The former Governor of Anambra state, Dr. Peter Obi, Ide of Ojoto, noble dignitries, traditional rulers amongst others put up appearance to sympathise with the bereved family.

53 years Nne Okonkwo, who died after a brief illness was more like an iroko of morals to the family and a mother hen to the brothers and siblings. Chief Prince Donatus Okonkwo expressed pain and regrets over the sister death as he was seen dejectedly responding to brief interview with some reporters at grand burial ceremony. 

In truth, Ojoto town experienced an unprecedented convergence of church members, mother\'s, elders, youths and cross sections of Ojoto age grade association. It was better described as a grand burial ceremony to a worthy icon, no wonder she was referred as Ada Papa Uwa, from her growing up years. Adieu Mama, Rest in Peace. ‎

The city of Abuja converged for‎ the 16th edition of Most Beautiful Girl in Abuja Pageant which held over the weekend with about 20 contestants on stage to battle for the coveted title. 

The event which attracted several high profile personalities, showbiz entrepreneurs, pageant practitioners and beauty queens had so much side attractions of comedy, dances, award presentations and special performance from Dolce Entertainment LTD signed cripple artist who held the event with his arresting steps on stage.

22 years old Miss Yetunde Barnabas after a competitive performance of traditional presentations, catwalk and I.Q questions was crowned Most Beautiful Girl In Abuja in a colourful and glamorous atmosphere. The light skinned model turned beauty queen is expected to embark on several projects benefiting FCT residents like her predecessors. 

The hall packaged MBGA Finals held at Transcorp hilton honoured some distinguished personalities amongst which are ‎‎RT Hon. Friday Ossanebi,
Deputy Speaker Delta State House of Assembly as‎ Legend Youth Ambassador of the year, ‎Mrs Yinka Bala - Award of Excellence, Prince Eyo - Award of Excellence‎ and others. 

Speaking to the cross section of journalists at the end of the show, the project director Hon. Ejiro Okphiwo said he was impressed at the quality of the edition, he congratulated the awardees and also promised to ensure the winners execute their projects deligently while upholding the integrity of the brand.

One of Nigeria's Youngest Billionaires and international Business man Dr. Amb. Olakunle Churchill, CEO Big Church Group in Nigeria, UK, USA, CANADA and SWITZERLAND ‎visited the popular Numatville megacity recently to know the investment plans with the company behind the Tourism development estate. The Numatville is the Nigeria - Dubai concept which some nollywood stars were unveiled as ambassadors, with instant complimentary ownership of a plot Land.

Dr. Olakunle Churchill who is married to Nollywood diva Tonto Dikeh ‎was acquired 280 plots of land to start Mechanised farming project, geared to empowering 1000 youths in the Numatville. Several banks, Schools, embassies out are been set up there now. It would recalled Nigeria's famous sports Ambassador Amb. John Fashanu purchased some plots months ago for setting up of Massive sport complex. 

‎The wife, Tonto Dikeh and mother of one was one of the Numatville Megacity Ambassadors who was among celebrities allocated a plot at the Nollywood quarters of the Abuja- Dubai tourism community in Africa, located the the panda - Karu axis in the Capital City, Abuja. Hon. Jonathan Daniels the project manager of the Federal Ministry of Land, Housing and Urban partnered Numatville was with Dr. Churchill when he visited the land to begin executing the Mechanised Farming project.

‎The newly crowned winners of Miss Ambassador For Peace Queens over the weekend visited an Orphanage to celebrate Nigeria with the kids. The winners and the team led by Amb. Kingsley Amafibe had prayer sessions with the kids and matron of the home.

The need to commence the one year long reign with charity visit and prayers from the motherless children was necessary for a progressive and fruitful reign. ‎ They prayed for unity amongst themselves and for the peace and economic success of the nation.

Speaking to ‎cross section of press men at the office after the visit, the head queen, Miss Oluchi Madubuko said that spending time with the kids to celebrate Nigeria is not a media thing but from the very depth of their being. She further stressed on the need to embrace peace especially at this time the country is facing some economic turbulence.

Last year,  Nairaland was honoured at the Nigerian Customer Service Award ‎as Best Blog Company of the Year 2015. The logo of Naira sign was on the backdrop and red carpet, so I expected Mr Seun or one of the moderators to come out to receive it but no one did. The 2016 Nigerian Customer service Awards and customer experience management conference supported by Bank of Industry (BOI) and AFP Furniture(Julius Berger)held during the 2016 the international customer service week at the Civic Centre Lagos Nigeria.
