‎The city of Abuja was practically held spell bound recently as the Abuja all white Pool Party took centre stage at Pauliham Hotel, in Gwarimpa.

The first major pool party organised by Peace Ambassador Agency attracted the high and mighty in the corridors of power in the entertainment circle of the capital city including arrays of former and reigning beauty queens.

In truth, it was a rare gatheri‎ng of Abuja residents in their celestial adornments as they danced and celebrated the May day in a very unique style with headline showbiz entrepreneurs, pageant producers, comedians and representatives of corporate brands.

Speaking to cross sections of press men who besieged the venue, the Project Director  Amb. Kingsley Amafibe said that ‎he was amazed by the impressive turnout of fun lovers as the Gwarimpa estate which is regarded as the biggest in west Africa was practically occupied by white pool party lovers.

The celebration continued with an after party at The Runway Bar, where the blend of excitement and pool party success joy ignited another round of passion for drink and dance which continued till mama's call.

Indeed, it was a great pullout from the CEO of Miss Ambassador For Peace who over the years in Abuja has been staging crowd pulling events. Even as at writing this, the 2016 Edition of Miss Ambassador For Peace pageant exercise has started with forms already selling.

Nollywood Actress Oge Okoye earlier today in Lagos joined the list of Top Nigerian Celebrities who become a National unity ambassador courtesy Numatville Megacity.

The project manager, Hon. Jonathan who has been in Lagos to seal some mega deals shared the photo after confirming star actress Oge Okoye as one of the Ambassadors who will own a land at the Numatville Megacity.

It is worthy to note that high profile celebrities and artists have gotten landed properties courtesy of the Abuja-Dubai project which is designed to set up architectural masterpiece at the megacity and also attract investors

Singer, Jaywon who recently released his new album, ‘Oba Orin‘ is was in Abuja over the weekend for a tour.

"This Year" crooner visited  the Heritage motherless home in Gwarinpa, Abuja with gifts few days ago to give back to the society his first two weeks revenue from the new album sales that is already hitting headlines and airwaves.

Though, he earlier paid a courtesy visit to CEO of Big Church Group, Churchill Olakunle when he arrived the capital city in company of some beauty queens who came around to support the charity visitation with their presence.

During the visit, he had his new album listening party in Crave Cubana Abuja with Praiz, Timaya, Runtown, Black Solo and other in the venue as he thrilled his fans.

The supposed most anticipated pageant ‎eventually held last night at the prestigious Sharaton Hotels and towers but the sight of the event leaves much to be desired.

The second edition of Face of Fashion Africa and African Icon awards took centre stage last with high profile names in attendance but with a handfull of fans to cheer up their role models like former MBGN Ambassador Jennifer Igwegbe, reigning Face of Exquisite Universe - Collete Nwadike, former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria - Isabella Ayuk, former Miss Ambassador for peace - Queen Irene Onwuka, former Queen of Aso Nigeria - Flourence Esu and other notable pageant organisers.‎

It was expected that with the number of headline guests to be honoured, much publicity that goes beyond blackberry and watsapp hype should have been more effective considering the fact that Abuja residents are usually indifferent about events they are not aware off or the brand is not out there in the news.

The pageant which was won by Miss Uganda, Nnena Akpera amidst empty chairs and ‎epileptic sound presentations saw some of the guests leave the event after receiving their awards. 

Though, with reference to the present hardship in the country, occasioned b‎y the lack of fuel and power supply, it is perceived that Abuja entertainment market or fun lovers decided to remain at home to save their limited income in this change era.

Kudos must be given to the organisers for staging this event with big dreams as the concept is not only impressive but indeed commendable. The disappointment virtually written on the face of the project director as shown in the pictures ‎does not depict a bad show but guess it explains that it's a self funded project that is perhaps not warmly received by the market or caused by limited fund in circulation in Buhari's government

The city of Owerri was brought to a standstill over the weekend as the 2016 Edition of Mr and Miss Imo State Pageant took centre stage at a very colourful even‎t.

Several high profile Imolites and students put up appearance at the coronation and award night that recorded impressive turnout.

Amgbaobi Jahdi who represent Mr Mbaitoli emerged Mr Imo State Nigeria 2016 while Okonkwo Jecinta who represented Miss Oru West was crowned Miss Imo State Nigeria 2016.

Popular pageant producer and CEO Most Beautiful Girl in Abuja, Hon. Ejiro Okphiwo ‎ and United Nation youth Ambassador and Manager Miss United Nation pageant, Amb Utchay Odims were part of the high profile judges.

Other winners of the night ‎for female category were; Miss Nwangele - Chris Events Model of the year 2016 , Miss Orlu - Miss Imo State Queen Nigeria Culture, Miss Owerri Municipal - Outstanding Imo State Queen 2016, Miss Onuimo - Miss Imo State Queen Nigeria Top Model and Miss Ikeduru - Miss Imo State Queen Nigeria Tourism.

A former governorship candidate of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) in Abia State, Chief Ako Atulomah, has declared his intention to run for the State Chairmanship position of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abia State in the party’s upcoming State Congress.

Atulomah, who made the declaration yesterday in Umuahia, said his aspiration would be guided by the party manifesto on the strengthening on the party structure in the state and the South East region.

He highlighted his experience as grassroots politician, and professional accountant, with decades of experience both in party politics and in hands-on professional project delivery, as evidence that he would deliver if elected by his party to run its affairs in Abia State.

“I am determined to work towards the goal of providing quality leadership that will bring about the required development in our great party and give every party member a sense of belonging and the party a new lease of life, as we reorganize to get back to our former glory,” he said.

Atulomah was once a local government party chairman in the old Umuahia LGA in the old Abia State under the defunct National Republican Convention (NRC). He was also a financial consultant to Abia State Government from 2002 to 2007.

The event held at Lobic Meridian hotel witnessed an  unprecedented massive turnout of people to witness the crowning of the first ever Queen of all Imo Models. 

Vivian Nnebedum who defeated the other fourteen contestants said to have been so outstanding during the camping period. 

According to her, she lost the hope of winning the event during dinner outing; seeing how wonderful her most outstanding contender look.
But she said ' I gained my courage back when she and almost all of the remaining contestants could not answer the the top5 question correctly'
