STAKEHOLDERS MEETING: APC Chieftain Prince Don Calls For United Force Ahead Anambra 2021 Governorship Election


The CEO of Tetrazzini Group and former APC Governorship Aspirant Prince Don Okonkwo has called for a united force ahead of the forthcoming 2021 Governorship elections in Anambra state. He made the statement during the enlarged caucus meeting of the South East zonal chapter of the party held in Owerri, Imo state few days ago.

The end of year meeting of stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress Party (APC) was hosted by the Governor of Imo State, HE Gov. Hope Uzodinma, who reiterated the party’s resolve and readiness to win the forthcoming 2021 governorship elections in Anambra State. According to reports, Gov. Uzodinma told members the party to shun petty animosities and antagonism, but instead work towards winning elections for the party.

The stakeholders meeting recorded the presence of Senator Ken Nnamani, Dr. Ogbonna Onu, Hon. Emeka Nwajiuba, Prince Eze Madumere, Dist. Senator Osita Izunaso, Mr. George Moghalu, Hon. Emma Ibediro, Chief Marcom Nlemigbo, Rt. Hon. Pharmacist Donatus Ozoemenam, Prince Don Okonkwo, Prince Dr. Henry Okafor, Hon. Gideon Meffor, Hon. Kenneth Okonkwo, Chief Ford Ozumba, Hon. Felix Uba, High Chief Johnbosco Onunkwo among others.

During the meeting, stakeholders of the party brainstormed the way forward for the South East zone, especially in the All Progressive Congress, believing that winning the Anambra Gubernatorial election coming up in 2021 will make the party stronger in the zone.

2020 edition of The Entrepreneur Africa Awards which held recently at Oriental Hotel, VI, Lagos, has been described as one of the best gifts of 2020 to the entrepreneurship community in Africa.

It was the climax of glamour, pomp and pageantry as Dr Kevin Chukwumobi, MD APAMS funeral LTD celebrated his birthday on the 26th December, 2020.

The carnival like event was massively attended by the crème of the Igbo land. It was a roll call of the biggest, the brightest and the best in diverse fields from not just the East, but other parts of Nigeria. The event started with a pontifical high mass officiated by the Catholic Bishop of Nnewi Diocese, with several other members of the clergy and the religious from different congregations. In his homily, the bishop commended Dr Kevin Chukwumobi for his steadfastness, humility and sincerity of purpose. He described Dr Kevin as one of the pride of Ndi Igbo , who has not only contributed to massive job creation leading to reduction in crime, but has been a huge pillar of support to the growth of the local church. The top catholic cleric also advised other well to do Anambrarians to emulate APAMS in his philanthropic gestures and more especially his quiet demeanour and unassuming nature. In the words of the highly revered Cleric, Dr Kevin lives out the Biblical admonition that we should not allow our right hand know what our left hand is doing and his footsteps should be followed.

The lavish and historical event was actually a multiple celebration. It encompasses his 50th birthday, conferment of doctor of Science in business management and corporate governance (Honoris Causa) by European American University, the Igbo Heroes Award conferred on him by the youth wing of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo. Part of the event also was Ozo and chieftaincy title taking as Ume Ike and Ike Ukpor respectively. This traditional function was carried out by no less a person than the royal father of Ukpor.

Dignitaries who graced the occasion include the former governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi, Senator representing Anambra South senatorial district, Sen. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, former APGA national chairman, Sen. Victor Umeh, member board of trustees PDP, Chief Chris Uba (Eselu) and former aviation minister, Chief Osita Chidoka (Ike Obosi). There were also captains of industry, top government functionaries, community and highly placed religious leaders at the event.

In his remark, Mr. Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra state who was at the event to celebrate his friend, described Dr Kevin as a man who is imbued with the right spirit of entrepreneurship and has promoted the ideals of doing business right. According to Dr. Obiora Okonkwo, he described Dr Kevin as an illustrious son of Anambra state and Igbo land who is very hard working, full of creativity and innovation. To Johnbosco Onunkwo, APAMS has paid his dues in business and he urged Ndi Igbo to emulate his humanitarian act.

In his brief remark at the event, Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah who was accompanied by his amiable wife Mrs. Uche Ubah described the celebrant as an industrious citizen who has contributed a lot to the development of the nation’s economy. He further prayed God to nourish him with more wisdom and divine protection and urged him never to relent in putting in more efforts towards the development of the Igbo economy and the nation at large.

According to one of the PDP governorship hopefuls and the immediate past president of Transcorp, Mr. Val Ozigbo, APAMS Boss is a pacesetting businessman and friend who revolutionized funeral undertaking in Nigeria.

Celebration From Ndi Anambra As Dr. Maduka Storms Chief Johnbosco's Music Academy Building Launch To Support Goodwill

NSCDC Boss, Abdullahi Reassures Nigerians Of Adequate Security During Celebration Season

As Nigeria joins the rest of the world in the celebration season of Christmas and an anticipated delightful New Year, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp-NSCDC has assured Nigerians of its Commitment to provide security for lives and properties. The Commandant General Abdullahi Muhammadu Gana made the assertions during his season greetings message to Nigerians, few days ago.

The NSCDC Boss stated that the Agency is already deploying a comprehensive personal protective plan-CPPP to ensure adequate and strategic operations in areas of protecting lives, properties and curbing criminal activities especially in the season of celebration, when civilians are more vulnerable to attacks, abductions and other vicious activities.

CG Abdullahi Muhammadu Gana also emphasized on the need for Farmers and Agro investors to remain calm, as the Agro Rangers are fully committed to securing farmlands against attacks by bandits and hoodlums. He stressed that with Agro Rangers, a specially trained department of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp-NSCDC, farmlands across communities in Nigeria remains secured and safe for Farmers.

He however reassured Nigerians of a smooth celebration season, void of any bizarre attack, as it will be exploring it's capacity and resources at all levels to provide the required basic security. JUST IN: Arrested Civil Defence Officer, Adakole Wasn't Among Ochacho Carnival Security Team - Inside Source


Following reports making rounds in the media and online platforms that
Jennifer Robert and an unadentifed person were killed at the well attended Ochacho Carnival, held in Otukpo, Benue state ,the Food Basket of the Nation, it has been gathered that the incident reportedly happened two streets away from the venue of the carnival.

Reports earlier suggest that the event which suggested that the carnival turned bloody has been refuted by an inside source who alleged that all the security men attached to the carnival were all tagged and giving the mandate to secure the corporate event to ensure that everyone abide by all COVID-19 protocols.

The said malicious Reports were said to discredit the successful carnival that went viral

An online platforms had reported that gun shots were heard around 11:00pm when policemen believed to be on duty at the event tried to molest fans to the venue.

But an inside source alleged that a drunk gun-wielding Civil Defense officer identified as Adakole Kapon, opened fire on the female victim, Jennifer Robert, over a yet to be established dispute between them which left her dead.

The source stated:
" Let me iinform the general public that the said incident did not occur at the venue of the Ochacho Carnival. The incident reportedly happened at some two streets away from the venue of the carnival.

"An allegedly drunk gun-wielding Civil Defense officer simply identified as Adakole Kapon opened fire on the female victim, Jennifer Robert, over a yet to be established dispute between the both of them and left her dead. It was also reported that a stray bullet hit the male victim who also died on the spot," he said.

After the shooting, report says attempts by Mr. Adakole Kapon to escape the area met a brick wall as passersby rushed to the venue of the incident and apprehended the gun-wielding Civil Defense officer who has been taken to the Otukpo Divisional Headquarters of the Nigerian Police for further actions.


At the venue , large quantities of nose masks and hand sanitizers were made available to all participants in other to prevent person-to-person transmission of the dreaded Covid-19 virus.


"Let me advise rumour mongers and hired propagandists who are out to tarnish the enviable image of King Muhammed Adah, also known as Ochacho, to desist from such forthwith, otherwise legitimate actions would be taken against anyone found wanting in this regard."

"While we appeal to the public, especially supporters and fans of King Muhammed Ochacho, to exercise calmness and remain law-abiding in the face of this ignoble act since the Nigerian Police, Otukpo command has launched full investigation into this wanton killing, we pray for the soul of the victims to rest in the Lord," the source concluded.
