I understand ur first sentence, yes its far better to abstain from it so as not to be led into sin but what if the people involved do and don't get drunk?? Probably occasionally?? And know their limit??

The verse u quoted up there clearly talks about people that are drunk already or addicted to drinking and getting drunk and also people who mix drinks and thats an easy way to getting drunk. Read this verse from NLT pls
