Renown hair dealer Mizwanneka has in a new post showered praises on her husband Willy for supporting her business. She also bought him a brand new Range Rover Evoque as an early Valentines present.

When I started hairbywanneka in 2013, as a new bride and pregnant wife , my husband wanted me to put to bed first before I do anything

Before we left Festac , knowing I have failed him the first time, I started begging him again to pls get me a store in Lekki without shame , I even said "ok borrow me the money as begging , he aggreed again and paid for my first shop in Lekki, put some goods in it for me , again everything went down the drain , after 1 year I left the store with nothing to show for it ,

Now for the 3rd time , I was begging for a new shop , this time , hubby didn't even buy the idea , trust woman and Wahala, I fought him kept malice and almost said am not marrying u again to avoid Wahala , I was in sch one day and he called and said "madam we have gotten you the shop" I danced back home I told him the reason y I failed in the first Lekki store is because people in Lekki like fine shops with good interior he then put this one up in a Lekki way for me , even with that nothing 6 months into the new store , I saw another disaster , i felt for the man who had been investing and not getting anything back , at that point , I knew I had to do something

Then I put in my all into my small business and now see how far we have come . While my business was on standstill , I will demand for all the latest phones I'll ask for a change of car without shame

Former Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard says he has retired from football.
The Chelsea legend, who won every major club honour during his time at Stamford Bridge, has called time on his career after considering his options after leaving New York City at the end of the last MLS season.

Lampard, 38, announced his retirement on Instagram where he posted a lengthy message thanking those who had played a part in a career which also saw him win 106 caps for England.

He wrote:

"After 21 incredible years, I have decided that now is the right time to finish my career as a professional footballer. Whilst I have received a number of exciting offers to continue playing at home and abroad, at 38 I feel now is the time to begin the next chapter in my life. I’m immensely proud of the trophies I’ve won, of representing my country over 100 times and of scoring more than 300 career goals.

I have many people to thank. I thank my parents for instilling in me the values of hard work, dedication and professionalism, values which I have carried with me in everything that I do. The Lagos state Governor today signed into law three important bills namely:

Prohibition of the Act of Kidnapping;
the Sports Trust Fund Law, and
the Sport Commission Law.
These laws have been enacted to address key issues bordering on security and effectively harnessing the potentials in the sports sector.

The prohibition of the Act of kidnapping law imposes a penalty of life imprisonment on kidnapping for ransom.

The law also stipulates that where a victim dies in the course of kidnap, the suspect is liable on conviction to death.

The Prohibition of the Act of Kidnapping law will address the challenge of kidnapping and punish criminals. The Sports Commission Law will give legal backing to the formulation and implementation of sports policies in the State while the Sports Trust Fund will enable government to raise money for the development of sporting facilities and activities.

Early this morning, a designer on Instagram @phoonmy_afrika called out actress Mercy Aigbe for allegedly refusing to credit her for an outfit she made for her. Read what she wrote below:

"As someone who had worked behind the camera in the Nigerian Entertainment Industry popularly called Nollywood and now a Fashion Designer, I picked an interest in two Nollywood Stars @mercyaigbegentry and @jumokeodetola for two different reasons but as the Yoruba adage says: Isunmoni la nmo ise eni. On a closer look you get to know that these people are not what they portrayed. Jumoke Odetola in her case lived up to standard as we approached her to flaunt one of our designs on social media, she responsibly did as agreed an even advertised our company to a few friends while Mercy Aigbe on the other hand collected the sewn garment, wore it to occasions, flaunted it on IG and refused to tag our Company which was the gentleman agreement we had. The problem here is not the fact that Mercy did tag us but her mannerisms when we approached her. Mercy slyly responded well to our chat saying she would do a 'rerock' and tag us but immediately blocked our comments on our post then blocked us on instagram. We put a call through to Jumoke who acted as our link to Mercy tried to pacify the situation but another conversation with Jumoke's manager spurred our anger. According to Mr Abiodun Jimoh @abeyjomo, on telling Mercy Aigbe that she shouldn't have worn the clothes since she knew she wouldn't give the Company that gave her the garment the credit, Mercy had replied that she has worn it and there's nothing anyone can do about it. When we sent a message through Mr Jimoh that we would like to have our garment back. Mercy said it they can come and pick it, she later said No! She would not give it back. The big questions are? Did Mercy believe we gave her our clothe as Charity? Is she from a motherless baby's home? Does she feel so untouchable because she is a cheap star that she is? Does she by anyway know with whom she is dealing with? Things are about to get messy with Mercy and she should be ready for us because if we have to rip our clothes off her skin, we will... just to have it back.

Moji Delano Blog contacted the Mercy, who denied knowing the said designer. Speaking exclusively to MDB she said:

"I never had any agreement with her, I don't know her and the said shirt wasn't given to me by her. She just wants publicity and she is getting it, I am happy for her." She Said.

Contrary to information circulating online, Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, has not removed Mr. Fatai Owoseni as Lagos State Police Commissioner, MDB can confirm.

Several online platforms yesterday reported that the I.G had replaced CP Owoseni with Mr. Garuba Umar, the Officer in Charge of Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Monitoring Unit.

The CP it was said, would proceed to the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Jos, for a leadership course.

But MDB spoke to the Police Commissioner, who laughed it off and said it was false. He added that if a posting were to occur, he would not read about it in the media as there is standard procedure for such postings.

This past weekend, my friend and I had a girls-night-in to catch up on all the juicy gossip since we hadn’t seen for months.

That night, while I was finishing up some work she spent about half an hour trying to figure out how to send a glorious “belfie” (butt selfie) to her fiance…Chai…women



First of all, I consider her a fairly flexible person because she used to be a gymnast in secondary school for years. But the logistics of taking a butt picture are about as easy as diffusing a time bomb.

Watching her, First she bent her arm as far back as it would go to grab a side photo. Next, she tried an over-the-shoulder aerial shot. She even tried to balance the phone between her thighs, and all that resulted in was a spectacular vagina photo, not the butt selfie of her dreams.

By the time I walked in on her, she was out of breath and sore from bending over backward to get a decent snap of her booty. I found it hysterical. She did not.

See, getting a photo of that ass is hard. You need to either be double-jointed or have a 10-foot-long arm to get a photo that doesn’t make your butt look like a pancake.

After watching her spend a whole lot of time on trial-and-error, here’s what I learned.

1) Use mirrors to your advantage.

Take a cue from Kim Kardashian, the queen of all things booty, and use a full-length mirror to capture your backside. Either do an over-the-shoulder duckface shot, or keep your face out of it and just snap a close-up shot of that ikebe.

2)Undies are your friend.

A great pair of panties can do to your butt what an awesome bra does to your boobs. It lifts, creates the illusion of a more rotund bum and just looks extra sexy.

If you’re a little anxious about sending a snap of your totally naked ass, a pair of undies can minimize the fear. I think nothing is hotter than a pair of lace panties — trust me, they’re way more flattering than a thong.

3) Recruit a friend.

When my friend was by the mirror, she offered to help me take the photo, angling the phone so it seemed to be just me behind the camera. Nothing is a truer test of friendship than taking a sexy selfie together.

Seriously, ask a friend. They probably won’t mind and, if they do, they aren’t your true friend.

No friends like belfie friends, am I right?

4) Make your butt look massive.

In my experience, this pose usually makes you look like you’re about to take a giant sh*t on your phone. That’s fine, just make sure you don’t actually sh*t on your phone.

5) Get on all fours.

I personally love this trick because it not only shows off your booty, but also gets some cleavage in the shot. To create the illusion of a bodacious shape, make sure your upper body is lower than your booty and snap away.

And if all else fails, just get a selfie stick. It’s practically the official sponsor of the belfie.
