But why keep an application for over 6 months and still reject it. This people are so crazy tho.. It can be painful.. Its well bro, just order for GCMS note, re-strategize and re-apply.You will get it in ur next application. meanwhile how many times have u applied?

Already ordered the case notes; and it's my first application, but have exhausted my deferrals. So it's a fresh application back to the same Uni. if I want to do this again

Your application is very good. I think the VO just refused your application on purpose maybe coz your application was held for longtime. I believe if u apply again they will approve your application this time. Defer your admission and apply again. Don't give up yet and I wish you the best. Just be prayerful.

Thanks man! Used my deferral up and I got a last deferral for this January. When I have my case notes I'm gonna decide if I want to go through this again or not. School already told me I might have to re-apply if I dnt confirm my seat come November ending. Sure we all know how CIC failed at delivering so the later might be the way to go.

Unfortunately guys my study permit was rejected after 24weeks and 4days. This message dropped yesterday but just saw it now, plus I had totally lost hope before now cus of the long silence. So not feeling bad as I am planning the year for another pasture. Well attached to this is my rejection letter. Any opinion, suggestion or advise would be appreciated is Canada worth trying again or just face somewhere else.

July 14th applicant.

Can I just travel to Singapore and Malta for vacay, find a cheaper school in Canada then reapply against fall.

Hanhan! You just disappeared bro, NO BE SO OOH. There was a shared experience a few months back about flying via Air Maroc, affordable bt probably not the best one out there. Search the name of this thread+Air Maroc, you should find that writeup.

Compliments of the season my people.

So this is my story.....

Applied in April
Refused in June

Re-applied in June
Refused in November

I was so heartbroken and devastated.....
But I just held on to God's promise.

I didn't want to try again.

But the Spirit of God gave me the courage to try again.

So I applied again in November.

God finally came through for me and I got my approval this December.

Lesson : If God has said it, that settles it because He will surely do it. Don't give up. It's not over till you win!

By the way I'm a matured student o, in my forties. I left university over 20 years ago. If God can do it for me, He will also do yours!

To God be the glory! All I can say is THANK YOU JESUS CHRIST MY LORD!

Congrats

Habaaa call on the gurus in Canada now. And some other time, if you on a budget you should be looking at a motel and not hotels. Your 1month normal house rent could take you through some for about 21days. If you can't get someone fast, tryout kijiji.ca, craigslists, and other apartment classifieds. You gonna browse through 100's of available spaces for rent and get one based on affordability. Or better still try Facebook search your area and house for rent!

Silent reader although I have asked one or two questions here. I stumbled here after I submitted my application online.

My application was approved today or PPR came in today.

Applied July 8th.
Biometric July 10th.
Decided to do medicals on my own in August.
Medical passed 2 days after I uploaded my result.
My eligibility review started today 23rd November.
My passport request came in today 23rd November.

I wrote to them twice in September and I got the generic "processing" and "active processing" the first and second time respectively.

I graduated (B.Sc,Nigeria) in 2006, (MBA,USA) 2012.
Was refused permanent residence visa in 2014.
was refused visiting visa in 2017.

I applied for another Masters BTW.

Thanks to you all.

Sholenta aka Lenta

See work of God. Congrats dear! Never say Never

The Gurus in the house should please advice me on what to do. I received this mail yesterday.

I am refusing your application on the following grounds:

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your travel history.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your current employment situation.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status.

You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be accompanied by a new processing fee.

These are the documents submitted:

My Application is self sponsor and spouse non accompanying, funds available worth cad 95,000

Documents submitted:

· All CIC Study Permit forms uploaded
· Professional and Academics Credentials
· (MBA) Letter of Acceptance (UCW)
· Scholarship Awarded Letter (UCW)
· Initial Tuition Fee Deposit Receipt (UCW)
· 2 Bank Statement of Accounts Personal (Domiciliary & Naira)

Please how can I track a parcel that was sent to WES in October through NIPOST speed post?
WES is yet to receive it.
Kindly suggest.

Stop using them again if you re seriously in a rush, use the private courier coys, the differentials isn't more than 4K max, bt you ll have peace of mind. Bt NIPOST use delay tactics and you gonna think your package has left Nigeria whereas it's still here after a week even when you track it. Moreover the slip you were given ought have the tracking number.

If not for the money involved, I think I should opt for Judicial Review.

Sorry about your delay bro! Don't waste time trying to pass through a judicial review. Moreover a win isn't feasible if this is your first application. Based on recent development, apply for your gcms notes and try paper route if your last was online. You might just get an approval within 10wks.

Well you can't facilitate anything, that's just a logical advise to those whose application has long exceeded normal processing time plenty plenty. We don't need to start abusing a trick again cus it worked. Probably the day your application is 15wks, but you might even have your visa before then. Just keep being optimistic.

Ok. You will need to wait for the processing time for Nigeria which is 15 weeks, if you dont get any response 15 weeks from the time you applied, then you can send them a message through the Webform or through mails. So as a matter of fact, its not safe disturbing them now, cos if you do they will see u as a desperado which can actually facilitate ur refusal. So take a chill pee and Wait for the next 15 weeks(Processing Time) and if u dont get any response, then do what I have mentioned earlier. Peace

You also trying hard to control your annoyance with CIC at the same time proffer solutions to pple problems here but make the later no JUST VEX YOU SHA with Nursery 4 ?s. We May, June and July family don suffer small ohh. By the way, you asked the OP to take a "chilled pee". What does it tastes like if chilled? If I may ask. Then go wait another 13weeks befr writing them or request for anything. @blet it's not advisable to write till your processing time lapses, learn and relax. You might get lucky and even have your TRV befr 10wks sef.

*LONG POST***

First Application
Submitted: 4th April
Biometrics: 5th April
Delayed: 29th May
Reason: Purpose of visit, insufficient fund to pay fees without working in Canada.

Second Application: 13th June
Biometrics: 22nd June
Medical mail: 22nd October
Medicals done: 5th Nov (IOM Abuja)
Uploaded: 7th Nov
Approval/PPR: 8th Nov

Submitted Docs:
SOP
School admission letter (Carleton University, MEng Mechanical Engineering)
Financial Documents: Bank Statement (First Application had just a balance of 1 million, this second application had a balance of 11 million).
Treasury Bills, Shares, Properties were also submitted.
Graduated 2017. Just completed NYSC last month
During this second application, I ordered gcms for my first app, saw the reason stated by the VO (go through my timeline to see this), but I had already submitted my application so there was nothing I could do. I wanted to resume this Fall.
Towards the middle of August I sent out a lot of CSE containing my school fees receipt and also seeking for an expeditious review of my app. I didn’t get any responses immediately apart from the regular generic responses which came after like a week. I ordered gcms again and it came after 20 days. I found out my app was stuck because of an error in collecting data from New Zealand. Shortly after this I started receiving mails that my tuition receipt has been received.
My review of eligibility didn’t change throughout.
I sent a new admission letter from fall to Winter. Reception was confirmed. I stopped worrying. I looked at goingforward and admired her for being pious. I remembered my God.
I started doing early morning special prayers concerning this visa. This was in October. I partook of a 3 days dry fast in my church. 2 weeks later I received my medical mail. IOM was fully booked but God’s favour located me once more. I did the medicals and got my PPR yesterday.
What I did differently in this second application was I involved God.
Prayers do work and never ever relent. God will deliver unto those expectant of their visas in Jesus name.
I want to also thank Jeremy and Frank for taking their time out to reply my questions and advise me. God bless you both. See you all in Maple Land.

Ps. If you’re interested in the prayer points I used to pray send me a pm and I’ll send them to you. God bless

Congrats Lotusboi

Good Day,
I am a silent read without a Nairaland account, recently created one today.
After waiting since 23/05/2018, I sent an email to CIC London on Friday, it come to my surprise that my application was update today with a correspondence letter stating PURPOSE OF VISIT ALONE.
My question is that since they knew my application will be refused after 5 months and 7 days why take forever to make such decision.
Its so sad that i missed the September 2018 intake for my plan B program in Ireland.
My colleagues are in school already (Dublin).
Where do I start from again.
I confused if to reapply or consider Ireland.
Its unfair oooo.
Am just sad because they wasted my precious time.

Sorry about your delay @Paul4Canada. You can reapply again after getting your gcms notes. It doesn't stop you from applying to Ireland schools cus they run recursive admissions. A good choice though but you must start early. I doubt if the process too is faster than Canadas'. Theirs take 1-3months. But make sure you apply online to Canada so they don't hold you back for any reason. God is your strength, we also here waiting for ours. God's Willn it shall end in praise.

Abeg you do not insult me OK, how are my misleading people? That all you can comment is order for gcms only? If you may know I have help ten's of persons in this thread in their application. Even when I will recommend applicant for gcms I will deal with the refusal ground first and thereafter recommend for the order for gcms.
I don't just see an applicant who got refusal and all I will comment is " order for gcms " Very bad

Bro! Hummmm, I understand your point about this gcms thing. This is simply overemphasized and it seems like conformity to you but truth be told, a month is a long time but it is a logical path if you choose to pay the $5, it's optional like the gurus have advised on this thread. Just like everything is based on God, hardwork and luck anyone denied should decide if they need it or not but don't speak with so much confidence that it's unnecessary. My own advise if you know you re interested in reapplying after a delay, order yours immediately while you in the process of packaging a second application(which could actually lag the same period you await your gcms notes), at the snap of your fingers 30 days is over.

GCMS is an opportunity for anyone ohh my brother, take advantage of it. At US embassy we get vexed

"Bro I was the denied today ohh, that small girl, that black American girl, haaa the one on counter 4, that guy and blah blah was just typing, asked me another question and kept typing, typing, typing then he or she said sorry we can not grant you a US visa at the moment kindly reapply at some other time when your situation has changed". Then one get the blue paper with vague reasons that can't even point one in the right direction. Abi na because i no greet him or her well, or cus I stammered and didn't align my tie well. So brothers and sisters that blue paper is the same white note of refusal people get via email or with returned passport, it's so generic, but the gcms is what the American VOs type, type and you will never see and they use that against you the next time one re-apply with the truth and lies that lies there-in.

Be knowledgeable, take advantage, learn and get better. It's not about who is right or wrong.

God bless this TRV FAMILY
