OK am back again after a few months and some of use know my story if you have been on this tread for a while, madam used MMC just like ewa2014. and baby was born sept.18. 2015. madam tried hospital to accept VACS.but it was a no no. at last baby was big so we had to result to CS. when baby came out wihout our consents baby was taken to NICU. explanation was that baby crp abi wetin dem call am was fluctuating so his body was fighting bacteria infection. rather than give him oral so mother and baby can go home after 4days. dey placed him on I.V and insisted that baby must complete his 8days dose b4 his discharged. so many ugly incident happen like hospital asking for $350 b4 baby can be given the circumsit. we refused and so will have to do it naija style on their return. now baby now home with mother and well.

now the challenge- MMC is asking me to pay $13600. for cost of baby being in NICU. since I don't want Medicaid. and saying I have to pay it complete payment within 6month if not it will attract charges. us this true about Medicaid? and what payment plan can you advise as I will be speaking with them by Monday 5th. Oct. when I will be depositing some money as down payment for the NICU. please help advise am really disturbed with this development. (we have payed all other outstanding hospital charges. $(8k + 1.2k +1.1k). mamas and papas I didn't see NICU coming. very sad. but life is most. shld I insists on 1 or 2 year plan? what's my right on this please help.

She did cab on her first apointment at cost her $150 that was not funny , so next appointment we agreed on she using bus, no be too easy ride but she spent about just less that $20 (hope am correct) yes but way lower that that big money , just that its a longer hour. Olokings my family and i had same POE stamp last year at houston POE. We no get restricted date of 6months and i know it was not a mistake. Some just see you and know you will go back when you feel like. Mine was B1. While my baby and Madam was B2 stamps with biro on them. So enjoy your stay jaree and safe for madam.

@algfred, if u can get a mail from mercy with their self paying quote that Shud do... The hospital bill for 2 days stay for Vagina delivery is 6k minus prenatal tests, sonogram and delivery. Bearing this in mind, you might want to get cash in excess of 6k. U don't need a quote for anethesia till u get here but if u using mercy, the one they recommend charges 1k for VD and 1200 for CS.
Try and speak to the hospital, tell them to direct you to the family care cente or the person in charge of self Pay.. book an appointment and get her to send u an email summarising ur conversation. She would attach the self pay Bill and ur appointment confirmation.

I was also advised to contact the aneast. Dept. Seperatly for cost. So i go just do so and also find a doc. With cotact mail. some wey i call and write say dem no dey give cost estimate for delivery unless you walk in to them hospital. So i go try harder and do as you talk.
