Nigerian babies in Nigeria will grow up to face a life of hopelessness, poverty and suffering as americans plan to take over our country and resources using AFRICOM. Read article below: On a recent trip to West Africa, the newly appointed managing director of the International Monetary Fund, Christine Lagarde ordered the governments of Nigeria, Guinea, Cameroon, Ghana and Chad to relinquish vital fuel subsidies. Much to the dismay of the population of these nations, the prices of fuel and transport have near tripled over night without notice, causing widespread violence on the streets of the Nigerian capital of Abuja and its economic center, Lagos. Much like the IMF induced riots in Indonesia during the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis, public discontent in Nigeria is channelled towards an incompetent and self-serving domestic elite, compliant to the interests of fraudulent foreign institutions. Although Nigeria holds the most proven oil reserves in Africa behind Libya, it’s people are now expected to pay a fee closer to what the average American pays for the cost of fuel, an exorbitant sum in contrast to its regional neighbours. Alternatively, other oil producing nations such as Venezuela, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia offer their populations fuel for as little as $0.12 USD per gallon. While Lagos has one of Africa’s highest concentration of billionaires, the vast majority of the population struggle daily on less than $2.00 USD. Amid a staggering 47% youth unemployment rate and thousands of annual deaths related to preventable diseases, the IMF has pulled the rug out from under a nation where safe drinking water is a luxury to around 80% of it’s populace. Although Nigeria produces 2.4 million barrels of crude oil a day intended for export use, the country struggles with generating sufficient electrical power and maintaining its infrastructure. Ironically enough, less than 6% of bank depositors own 88% of all bank deposits in Nigeria. Goldman Sachs employees line its domestic government, in addition to the former Vice President of the World Bank, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, who is widely considered by many to be the de facto Prime Minister. Even after decades of producing lucrative oil exports, Nigeria has failed to maintain it’s own refineries, forcing it to illogically purchase oil imports from other nations. Society at large has not benefited from Nigeria’s natural riches, so it comes as no surprise that a severe level of distrust is held towards the government, who claims the fuel subsidy needs to be lifted in order to divert funds towards improving the quality of life within the country Article continues, As the United States African Command (AFRICOM) begins to gain a foothold into the continent with its troops officially present in Eritrea and Uganda in an effort to maintain security and remove other theocratic religious groups such as the Lord’s Resistance Army, the sectarian violence in Nigeria provides a convenient pretext for military intervention in the continuing resource war. For further insight into this theory, it is interesting to note that United States Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania conducted a series of African war game scenarios in preparation for the Pentagon’s expansion of AFRICOM under the Obama Administration. In the presence of US State Department Officials, employees from The Rand Corporation and Israeli military personnel, a military exercise was undertaken which tested how AFRICOM would respond to a disintegrating Nigeria on the verge of collapse amidst civil war. The scenario envisioned rebel factions vying for control of the Niger Delta oil fields (the source of one of America’s top oil imports), which would potentially be secured by some 20,000 U.S. troops if a US-friendly coup failed to take place At a press conference at the House Armed Services Committee on March 13, 2008, AFRICOM Commander, General William Ward then went on to brazenly state the priority issue of America’s growing dependence on African oil would be furthered by AFRICOM operating under the principle theatre-goal of “combating terrorism”. At an AFRICOM Conference held at Fort McNair on February 18, 2008, Vice Admiral Robert T. Moeller openly declared the guiding principle of AFRICOM was to protect “the free flow of natural resources from Africa to the global market”, before citing China’s increasing presence in the region as challenging to American interests. After the unwarranted snatch-and-grab regime change conducted in Libya, nurturing economic destabilization, civil unrest and sectarian conflict in Nigeria is an ultimately tangible effort to secure Africa’s second largest oil reserves. During the pillage of Libya, its SFW accounts worth over 1.2 billion USD were frozen and essentially absorbed by Franco-Anglo-American powers; it would realistic to assume that much the same would occur if Nigeria failed to comply with Western interests. While agents of foreign capital have already infiltrated its government, there is little doubt that Nigeria will become a new front in the War on Terror. Mr. President Sir and Fellow Nigerians, it is yet another shame of insult in far away Vienna, Austria, Europe. According to a shocking bomb revelation by a free daily newspaper in Vienna, Austria called “Heute”, there is a secret mansion villa worth 20 million euro bought by the current oil minister Mrs Allison Madueke. The headline reads “ Ministerin aus Hungerland Kauft sich 20-Millonen-Villa in Wien” (Female Minister From Hungerland Buys Herself 20 Million Euro Villa In Vienna). As provoking and insulting as this headline yet I have been forced to swallow my pride to say that I am very grateful to “Heute” for the exposure of this unpatriotic display of the oil minister because her behavior is more provoking and insulting than the headline. Here is the full translated version of the above text as reported by the newspaper: “Big turbulence about the Nigerian Oil Minister Diezani Allison-Madueke (50)! According to Nigerian media the politician is said to have bought a villa in Vienna for just under 20 Million Euro – even though a major part of the population in her home country is living below the poverty line and children are dying daily of starvation. The exact location of her luxury lodging is secret, but Allison-Madueke is enthusiastic about the big garden and the estate referring to it in the internet as “architectonic masterpiece”. One of her neighbors is said to be former OPEC boss Rilwanu Lukman who is also from Nigeria.” The “Heute” newspaper said that their news was taken from Nigerian media and I have tried to google such news without success. However, I trust them because they are civilized and cannot publish such damaging news like this one without being sure. Consequently oil minister, we are expecting you to challenge the newspaper in court and restore your dignity if you say it is not true or bow out from that position peacefully. Dear Nigerians, we all know how impossible it is for a civil servant to save 20 million euro cash in buying a house. In a developed country like Austria where I am living you cannot live above your income without being questioned by the authority. Therefore, how did the minister get this huge amount of money in buying such a mansion? When did she buy the “Villa”? Could it be before she became a minister or after? Could this be her only mansion outside Nigeria? Is she the only minister or government official involved in this wickedness? If this money should be in Nigeria it will definitely help our economy. With this money factories could be comfortably opened and jobless graduates rooming around the streets gainfully employed and crime reduced. How did this get exposed you might ask? Nigerians are very curious and furious. Rumor moving round Vienna, Austria has it that the person that helped her in buying the house was not properly settled, therefore “Yawa must gas”. Those that are praying for Nigeria should please never stop praying because God is in control. Remember our president appealed to us Nigerians to keep on praying for him because he is seeing terrible Goliaths all over Nigeria. Goliaths he said that are ready to kill their father and mother, even their children just to stop his government. Today we can shout hallalujah because one of those Goliaths has been miraculously exposed through our prayers. Another interesting open secret was the saying that her luxury mansion was close to that of the former oil minister Rilwanu Lukman. What it could mean is that the former ex oil minister’s house cannot be at anything less than Allison Madueke’s mansion in terms of value and luxury if not more. If this should be a true statement, when did Rilwanu Lukman buy his own mansion? How did he get such money? As a former public office holder he must equally be investigated. Will EFCC do their job very well? Or are we going to see another probe committee that will never see the light of the day as usual? I weep for my country! On this note Mr. President Sir, I as a concerned angry Nigerian humbly request for the immediate suspension of this minister, because she will not honorably resign due to the uncivilized way of most Nigerian politicians with regard to past events. I also appeal to Nigerians in Austria through this medium to come together and support a planned peaceful protest by a group of concerned Nigerians. Furthermore, I equally appeal to other Nigerians all over the world to get in touch so that we may have a one day worldwide protest against this shame if possible, because we are all involved. Mr. President Sir, Nigerians are watching. Uzoma Ahamefule a concerned Nigerian |

Friday, 6 January 2012 NLC STATEMENT ON THE INVASION OF LABOUR HOUSE, ABUJA BY GOVT AGENTS AND THUGS The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) condemns the invasion of its Secretariat, Labour House, Abuja by thugs right under the noses of the police. The thugs numbering about seventy who were hired by government agents, later apologized for their action claiming that they were not told they were being brought to the NLC. They revealed that they were promised One Thousand Naira (N1,000) each to carry out the invasion. Subsequently, they forced the agents that brought them to pay the N1,000 fee right in the presence of the cameras. The aim of the invasion was to cause a fracas and claim that workers are divided over the issue of fuel price increase. It is instructive that while the invasion was on, the FCT Police Command ignored calls by NLC officers to come and escort the thugs out of the Labour premises. Also, the heavily armed security men who had condoned off parst of the NTA Link Road where Labour Hosue is situated,, did nothing to stop the invaders. The NLC views this incident as another desperate attempt by the increasingly isolated and unpopular Jonathan administration to stop the mass movement against its insensitive and ridiculous fuel price increases of between 120-220 per cent. The Militarization of Abuja As part of its desperate moves to abort the peoples mass protests and intimidate Nigerians, the Presidency this morning turned out heavily armed units of the Presidential guards. The troops blocked roads, condoned off parts of the city, harrassed and frisked passersby. We condemn this “show of force” designed to intimidate peace loving Nigerians. The NLC also condemns this misuse of the army and warn that the police and armed forces are citizens like the rest of us who are equally affected by the negative impacts of the fuel price hike, and should therefore not be taken for granted. The Labour Movement specifically ask Abuja residents to hold demonstrations in various parts of the city and its surburbs, and march to the city centre by 8am from Monday 9th January, 2012 Ignore Propaganda on Fuel Price Reversal Fraudulent text messages were sent around this morning claiming that Government had reverted PMS (Petrol) price back to N65 and that on the strength of this, Labour had called off the general strike, rallies and mass protests which commence on Monday 9thJanuary, 2012. Another text message claims thatt he strike and commencement dates have been shifted. There is no truth in these claims. The NLC informs Nigerians that on this issue of strikes and protests, only statements or messages from the Labour Movement should be taken as authentic. We reiterate that the right of Nigerians to peaceful assembly and protest is a fundamental one which no government can abridge. The NLC will work with the patriotic Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) to bring those who brutalize Nigerians, and their bosses who issue the orders, to justice. |

Thanks. Though I have not opened up a router to see d components before. I will try to figure out the flash card and follow your procedure. Thanks! |
Hey guys! I have used starcomms, visafone, IPNX, Mobitel, MTN Hynet etc. This will make me come out with this conclusion. When you want to buy from all these providers, have a deal that if it doesn't work, you will return it. I have done that several times with IPNX. The best service depends on your area. Once again, ask, I want to use this in XYZ area, check your map, will it work? Take a step further to ask your friends using it in the same area. All providers work well in VI, Ikoyi because they know those areas are hot cakes. Moving away from there, there will be problems. Visa may be working well in Maryland and crappy in Iyana Ipaja. Cobranet may be d best in Iyana Ipaja but rubbish in Maryland. As I am typing this, I am thinking which one could be the best in Maya (ikorodu surbub, ikorodu-epe road). Mobitel has assured me to get their outdoor unit. Mtn told me point blank that they can't vouch for their service in that area. Pls be wise and happy surfing. |
I gnashed my teeth while doing that yesterday. I spent 4hrs on that to no avail. |
How do I do that. I tried something similar but it won't cold boot after pressing break button. Could you please show me the way to that. Thanks |
hi all, i just got a cisco roter 1900 series. i enabled the secret on it. After i saved the configuration, the router asked me for username. All attempts have proved abortive as i only configured password not username. PLS HELP |
Go to park and shop or mega plaza. U will bite you fingers and gnash your teeth if you go the computer village or anywhere else until you detect little space where the originals are sold. |

The House of Representative Committee on Sports has attributed the problem of Nigerian sports on the inability of the Presidency to appoint a competent professional as the minister of sports, insisting that as long as incompetent persons continue to occupy the position, our sports would continue to be in the doldrums. A member of the Committee from Kano, Hon. Engr. Muhammed AG Wudil, who made the assertion while fielding questions from Daily Sunsports at the National Assembly during the recent interaction with sports stakeholders, lamented that President Goodluck Jonathan, who is an apostle of continuity, had failed to appoint professionals to handle the Sports Ministry. Enumerating the factors that contributed to the problems Nigerian sports, especially football is facing currently, the honourable member said: “We have to look into the inconsistency in the appointment of sports ministers in the country. “It’s too bad that we change the sports minister almost every six months. A minister will come with new ideas, only for another person to come and change those ideas within months. “It’s disturbing that a country like a relatively unknown football-playing country like Gabon should be ahead of us in football development. The constant change of ministers has made it impossible for us to institutionalise continuity in the system. “President Goodluck Jonathan is an apostle of continuity, yet we keep changing sports ministers quite often. Sports is a key issue in our national life that we really need a thorough professional to it. You cannot be a minister of justice without being a lawyer. “We need a professional, who knows the terrain and the intricacies in sports to take charge of the Sports Ministry as the minister. We must not continue to appoint persons, who depend on information from other people before they could take decisions for our sports. As far as we keep appointing such people as sports ministers, our sports will remain in the doldrums,” he warned. The Engineer turned lawmaker, also blamed Nigerian sports’ woes on the administrators, lamenting that litigations, crisis, petitions and complaints had contributed in destabilising the game. “We also have to look into football administration in the country because there’re a lot of problems in that area. It’s becoming a matter of great concern that court cases, petitions, complaints and crisis are engulfing our football and other sports. “We have to overhaul our football,” he noted. , SUNNEWS |
