A total of 696,000 invention patents were authorized in China in 2021, China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) said on Thursday. Shen Changyu, head of CNIPA, shared at a national conference a work report detailing advances in the field of intellectual property rights (IPR), an issue of great value and importance in boosting innovation and high-quality development. In 2021, 73,000 international patent applications were filed in China via the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), said Shen. The PCT is a widely used metric for measuring innovative activity. China also received 5,928 international trademark applications using the Madrid System and registered 13,000 integrated circuit layout designs last year. The examination time of high-value invention patents and the average examination cycle of invention patents have both been shortened, said Shen. In terms of IPR protection, the number of administrative rulings on patent infringement disputes saw a year-on-year increase of 17.4 percent in 2021. The establishment of 25 new protection centers and rapid rights protection centers was approved, and the public's satisfaction with IPR protection grew to 80.61 points, according to the report. The added value of China's patent-intensive industries hit 12.13 trillion yuan (about 1.9 trillion U.S. dollars) in 2020, accounting for 11.97 percent of GDP, an increase of 0.35 percentage points above the previous year. According to a 15-year plan (2021-2035) on IPR development, China has set a clear target of the added value of patent-intensive industries accounting for 13 percent of GDP by 2025. The development of patent-intensive industries demonstrates the close integration of intellectual property, scientific and technological innovation and industrial economic development. Shen also noted that China has carried out 37 high-level bilateral and multilateral cloud conferences, with 244 China-EU geographical indications being mutually recognized and protected. https://news.cgtn.com/news/2022-01-08/China-authorizes-nearly-700-000-invention-patents-in-2021-report-16E9qc0hYBy/index.html |
I work as IT administrator with a reputable firm in Lagos. I have worked with an ISP in Lagos and as network admin with a hotel that used to be one of the best in Lagos in the in the 90s till 201* before new hotels began to spring up around Ikoyi. One fine morning, a hotel manager called me and requested a meeting. We agreed on a day and time. The hotel is somewhere on VI, Lagos. I called my colleague who works with an ISP to be in my company. I worked as a consultant for this hotel for few years until COVID struck and the hotel decided to have an in-house network engineer. I believe their experience with series of IT guys wasn't favourable as things went bad with time. Mr A, I requested to see you. We have got a very serious challenge when it comes to IT in our hotel. Our internet is nothing to write home about. We have increased our bandwidth severally and our ISP continues to charge us exorbitantly but we don't get value for our money. Our guests complain all the time. Our systems give us issues. The wireless are so bad and so on. My MD personally requested to call you to help resolve this. He so much believe you can get it done. We are even scared of hackers' activities as our MD continues to receive some strange mails and system malfunction. I carefully listened to all the issues and I responded. Mr B, all these you are talking about are no issues. But it will require some systematic approach to get all resolved. You will give me some time to go round, check the system, do my general IT audit and give my recommendation. I need access to all systems of interest. I need all the contacts to the ISPs and I need to physically see things myself. To be continued |
2special:Exactly the the problem I faced for a long time. MOSBUS solved it. Tested and endorsed. |

He tested if everything was ok with the AC. It was okay only that he needed to change the filter. Despite his tight schedule which I saw with many cars he was attending to at the same time, he took the car to a carwash to flush the radiator. He was doing the video, sending it to me. He called me severally with his money to give me updates. A very wonderful man. Very calm and soft-spoken. A very truthful guy with great attitude. When he finished the flushing. He only drove for few mins and the overheating started again. He called and said we needed to change the radiator. I was so convinced about his competence to handle it. I never asked him why. He made me to understand that 1. We needed to change the radiator 2. We needed to return the temp regulator. I was happy he suggested that. 3. Change the cabin filter of the AC. That was all. I asked him to let me send the money for the radiator which he agreed. The following day, he told me the car was ok that I should come for it. I got there in the afternoon and checked. I could not ascertain if what he did was okay and rewire ABS solution too until I hit the road and met traffic. He assured I could go. I told him I needed coolant for the car. He recommended one which he poured into the radiator himself. I hit the road around 6:30pm and got home around 8:00pm. The overheating had disappeared. The AC was too cold to bear on the first fan speed. Till I got home, not even a little headache. The car moved like when I just got it as toks. I was happy engaged this wonderful guy. I don't mind going back to the workshop if I have anything to do with my car again. I hope he has more hands to help him and bigger space to operate. His charges were reasonable. He made me very comfortable. Mind you, he didn't know I was going to write this. He is the type of people that we need to handle our cars not some pompous and overhyped engineers. He always has a lot of job all the time. But be rest assured that he is a good guy to try. Thanks so much Mr Amuletutu. You are a wonderful man. |
I have been online for a while now and I frequent cars and autos sections where people like Gazzuzz have helped with remote solutions to issues that could have made me free bank to our traditional mechanics (Kazeems). I have an Avalon 2002 which developed an overheating issue on my way to work one morning. I quickly parked, topped the water ( I had no coolant) and moved. This became recurrent. I took the car to a carwash to clean the radiator. The issue appeared stopped. One afternoon, I embarked on a 4hr journey around June this year. As I was helpless on the road, I met a mechanic who recommended me to visit a rewire who could bypass temp regulator. I first disagreed with the solution as I have read a lot on Nairaland about the disadvantages of doing such but due to me being on a journey, I had no choice. Eventually it was bypassed and everything looked fine. My journey went well and I came back 5 days after. This problem became recurrent. I began to consider selling off the car. I parked it at home for months except for some occasional outing in the neighborhood. I got really sad because the issue had resulted to AC not getting cold any longer and the overheating would start after few mins of driving with AC on. if I turned off the AC, the temp would come down. I have been a follower of MOSBUS on Nairaland and some other engineers that appeared competent. I decided to engage him. I called him on phone, we had an arrangement to meet him in his workshop. I got there very early in the morning. Though he came a bit late but this guy was full of apologies whenever I called him to come quickly. Eventually, he came. He didn't even ask how I got his contact. He was after was getting solution to the issue. I had to tell him myself how I got him. The first thing I noticed when he came was that he came with 2 cars following him (maybe they all got there by coincidence). He quickly came to me to apologize for his lateness and explained the reason for that. He jumped into work with other two cars while he was listening to my explanation and recommending what he needed to do. Another thing I noticed was that the aura of the environment changed upon his arrival. Everyone was greeting him with his nickname (Amuletutu). He was always smiling. I told him I couldn't wait any longer but I would drop the car with him and we would talk. He agreed. I asked about advance payment. He said I shouldn't worry about that until he finished his job. Wow. I was happy to let him handle everything. I met a rewire there too who I engaged with my ABS issue (spongy brake on motion). |
Messed up police officer Can this one recognize armed robbers like this |
She has lost her headcovering |
Those that will come last to the ATM queue and will be murmuring at the person withdrawing to do quickly. Why didn't you leave your house early? |
It if was bubu that slept off..WHOZAAA!!! Some disgruntled Nigerians would be fuming and crying. But Biden can bed-wet and get applause by Nigerians because he is not a Nigerian. Nigerians kill Nigeria. Poor Nigeria |
If our Nigerian pastors had predicted this Facebook shutdown. Wow! |
HellVictorinho:Kangaroo! Did I inform you about my support for the politicians? Get it now, I care less about any politician. They are all the same. But your Falz and Ayisha are craps of the community. |

slawormiir:At least, they understand the basics of governance. Who supports the old men by the way? |
Rubbish Sometimes you wonder how some people think. You mean these ones even understand basics of governance? Let them recite national pledge first |
udemzyudex:Lazy youth foaming and forming. |
ezewealth:I agree with you completely. Who messed up the system? Nigerians. Who denied who the basic amenities? Nigerians. Who made Nigerians not to see food chop self? Nigerians. What do Nigerians need to do to help Nigeria and Nigerians? Nigeria itself is a good guy. A blessed one at that, with a lot of resources to be a global power but Nigerians are Nigeria's problems. Watching bbnaija will solve all these? We will get serious someday. |
Crap. The world is talking about AI, Autonomous vehicles, edge computing, genetic engineering, SDN, body sweat powered wristwatches... these ones are fighting on Wednesday morning whilst some lazy youths glue to their TVs, wasting their lives, oxygen and global space. Not even a toothpick they can produce. Nothing in their heads. You see, you introduce nonsense to engage yourselves while others think for you, do marvelous stuff and you will go there, begging and buying. Neocolonialism in its finest form. |

Great man. Nigerians naturally hate those with good intentions and prefer questionable characters so far he is corrupt, allows his subordinates to be corrupt and allow corruption to fester among people. People will prefer to call him JAMB Taliban, man that stiffens admission process because he is a Muslim. If Oyedepo or Adeboye had been in this position, you would hear praises to heaven from these same people. Nigerians are the ones giving Nigeria problems. Nigeria herself is a good lady. |
femijay8271:If you demand for same day card, they will especially if you are on emergency. They may also ask you to come a day or two days after. Depends on your negotiation with them. |

Lagos to the world. God bless Ambode. |
You are right |
He never heard about Nigerians who ruled and coordinated gangsters in the US. I know one that left Nigeria for US and became their boss. |
