A merry heart doeth good like medicine. He that is of a merry heart hath continual feast.meanwhile here i proceed I got the inspiration to write on this topic because i know that there are so many people who had been deeply hurt and they dont want to bury the hatchet but take a revenge. I believe that after reading these articles,you will realise that revenge only belongs to thou "CREATOR" and you allow Him to fight "ur" battles for you. There is no human being who has never been offended in life. some have been hurt by their parents, children, close relations,employers,employees, bosses, pastors and even the society. The only difference might be the gravity of the offence. Some offences are so insignificant that you can over look and still maintain that relationship. Some hurts are weighty, yet you have forgiven but wisdom tells you to move away from that relationship. However, some people have been so badly hurt that they have suffer severly. Some have even lost lost some things that are precious to them by reason of the hurt. The hurt is so deep that it will take God to help them to put the pains behind them. Some have lost money,health,lives,property,relationships, etc due to the deliberate act of people or their sheer negligence of others the most painful aspect of the hurt is that the people who have caused others to suffer, are the people who are close to the victims. Take for instance so many ladies have suffered a great deal in the handds of men in relationships. Women,most times are always at the receiving ends in any relationship. This is becos of our nature. Women are faster than the men. A man of 60yrs can comfortably marry a woman of 20yrs and still reproduce, whereas how feasible will it be if the reverse were to the case? So then what is Revenge? The oxford advanced learner's dictionary defines; Revenge as "To punish or hurt somebody because they have made you suffer." the question that i want to ask is when you hurt or punish the person who has made you suffer, will it make up for the loss that you have suffered or will it deepen the hurt? This is a food for thought. Revenge(also vengeance, retribution, or vendetta amongst others) consists primarily of retaliation against a person or group in response to a real or perceived wrongdoing. For some, it might nor be conjugal relationship. It might be work place relationship. You have worked so hard, so faithfully in that organisation and yet your boss will not promote you, if you dont sleep with him. Consequently, you have lost your job in that organisation and your finding it difficult toget another one. Your finances have dwindled, that you are almost begging to survive. The question you ask your self is what have i done to deserve this? Perhaps, your lecturer woudnot allow you to graduate from that school, if you dont open legs for him. As a result, you have to stay an extra year in that school. Your mates have graduated and already doing their youth service. Your friends have humiliated you and even your parents think that you are not serious with your academics. But deep inside of you, you know that you are not to blame for the extra one year. You might have been sexually abused by that close relation -stepfather,stepbrother,uncle,cousin, etc for this reason, you sworn not to have anythin todo with any man. If you tell your parents, they might not believe your story. Psychologically, you are traumatised. You have even thought of commiting suicide. The worst aspect of it is that the person who inflicted this pain on you still comes around to see your parents and he pretends as if he never did anything. He might have been 'happily' married and look at you, you have rejected yourself. Your own case might be a business transaction. You invested your money into a friend's business or you agreed to jointly execute some contracts. At the end of the day, your patner collects the proceeds of the contract and disappears with your money.what can you say about that? Perhaps you invested all your life savings and you feel like killing this person. Anyway to cut it short. If you can identify with any of the above situations, do you still think, it it worth it to actually hurt or harm the person who has made you to suffer? Is it really worth it?. 1 Like 1 Share |

Three uni. Students didnot write an exam because they didnot study. They came up with a plan, got themselves dirty using grease then went to see the Dean. "Sir, we are sorry we couldnot make it to the exam. We attended a wedding and our way back the car broke down thus we became so dirty as you can see." The Dean understood and gave them 3 days to prepare. After 3 days,they went to the Dean very ready for the exam because they had studied. The Dean put them in separate classes. There were only four questions in the exam paper; (1)Who and who got married?(25marks) (2)Where was the reception held?(25marks) (3)Where exactly did the car break down?(25marks) (4)what type of car broke down?(25marks) Note;You answers must be the same.
