A40: If having better players didn't matter how does Erik Spoelstra go from 4 straight finals to not making playoffs at all?
That is down to a lot of factors including opposition strength. Not just the mythical 'system' you keep repeating ad nauseum. In the event his numbers drop against teams like the Spurs and Golden State I would like to see your explanation
By your logic we can call Tim Duncan, Shaq, heck even Kareem Abdul Jabbar American McGee's since bigs have to drive to the rim a la Iverson before you acknowledge their post game. Go and ask Adams who frequently got torched by sharp footwork whether Nenê is McGee 2.0
In that series which game was Oladipo in 'rhythm' you can't even present any stat to backup your claim that Oladipo always got the ball late in the shot clock. What is worse where is the sense in passing to someone who is 1/12 when you are chasing the game. That is as smart as giving a running back the ball after 3 fumbles when you are down 4 Touchdowns I learnt so much from this our first round loss....To win the playoffs, even if you just have two superstars or at most three superstars, your bench is very critical.....Yes, the Rockets had a better team but i also believed we could match up with them better than losing in five games.... We should get more players that can shoot the ball so when all the attention is on Russ, they could be making shots.... |

A40: Nene outscored and outrebounded the entire OKC bench. On the road! This must be Westbrook's fault. Its also Westbrook's fault that a wingman like Roberson shoots free throws like Ben Wallace. Anybody who questioned K.D leaving that useless team is just an E.P - enemy of progress
That game had the funniest end sequence I have ever seen since I started watching basketball K.D was my best player in okc..he was the reason i loved okc and became a fan...talking from a fan's perspective, the series is not over yet but in reality,we should look at where we went wrong and put things in order next season... #THUNDERUP |

Donlittle: This loss is on Donovan. You leave Norris cole in the game, and then leave Andre Roberson to miss free throws. The loss is on him. Norris cole played like houston paid him to make us lose...roberson was for defense tho..... |

Decale: That guy is sarcastic.
Lemme help you here, if you see Smooshchn or Eruditor or any Warriors fan on Westbrook's case, they're going savage Yh...i am aware they are not fans but when things are glaring..even if you a fan or not,you just have to see it that way... |

SmooshCHN1: 17-43 FG plus 18FTS, 4-18FG in 4th Quarter but Triple Doubles right?
Your teammates would definitely be shît if you balled alone throughout 82 games.
Lemme guess, Steven Adams was trash in last year's playoffs, Oladipo was trash in Orlando or Taj Gibson was trash at Chicago.. The whole team is to blame including the coaches for not finding solutions apart from Westbrook in dire situations or didn't they know Hero basketball don't work in playoffs? And that sub he made giving Houston 7-0 run. BTW, they traded Ibaka for Oladipo and gave Russ more money.
They should go after Paul George and move Oladipo to the bench and work hard during the summer. Westbrook is one star away from getting Warriors attention Couldnt agree more...Russ needs help |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 5:31am On Apr 20, 2017 |
SmooshCHN1: All season long these guys didn't feel the game basically one man playing the game.. What were you expecting? To just start hitting shots on and on?
I said it before OKC wasted their regular season not learning how to play together. Houston on the other hand. If OKC is swept, I think Westbrook is out of MVP race. I beg to disagree that westbrook will be out of mvp race.....Do you know how many times westbrook had to bail out our team??the tough shots he had to make cos no one was ready to make them?Westbrook of all people was "king of clutch" last season......Even if westbrook has always known to be selfish,he registered more assists this season...sometimes i dont blame him when he takes those last shots and they dont go in.....what can he do when his team mates fail him??he is the leader of them shouldered with responsibilities..... |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 3:45am On Apr 20, 2017 |
Donlittle: By the way, that capela dude, out playing Adams with his blocks. The dude they fear me. It's almost as if OKC does not have rim protection while capela is ready to swat anything away. He changed the dynamics of the first game.
Btw what is wrong with Adams? He was also outplayed in the first game. OKC fans told me has been terrible this year. Adams has been below par this season....... |

Cam someone please tell me.why oladipo is getting more minutes than mcdermott |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 3:37am On Apr 20, 2017 |
Eruditor: 3 ball killing OKC. They were better with 2nd chance points though. I know RW is the only person hot but there are a couple of his team mates hanging around unmarked that could attempt to make some uncontested 3s. His problem is, he is trying to force it. They just started doing what killed them.in the first game...dunno why they did not continue with the approach which they began with in the first two quarters |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 3:21am On Apr 20, 2017 |
Eruditor: RW is playing his heart out. Have to give it to him. 101-100 in Rocket's favor. He needs help..cant do it all by himself |

The rockets will come out strong |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 3:03am On Apr 20, 2017 |
Eruditor: At this point, I have to blame Donovan for making Westbrook the end-all be-all of OKC. He just stepped out for less than a minute and Houston go on a 7-0 run.
86-81 with a minute to spare. you just said my mind...our team solely depends on.westbrook.... |
