hubreality: The evil of tribalism and religion at work indeed. We also can read several mindsets onboard.Thank you my brother |
Olodostein: It is very possible Alhaji. Good urban planning and a civilized populace will do the magic.Good planning for were ![]() Nwannem, no matter how good the plan is. A plan is only as good as the envisage population used during the plan. As we all know, places like Hong kong etc were planned by even the colonial masters and the chinese themselves. Today Hong kong is still very much "none-serene". My brother, no matter the amount of planning A commercial centre can never be serene. Cairo is a none-serene place. Here is cairo Also Moscow (Russia) has a very low population density (Population in ratio to land mass) and still looks non-serene Here is a serene environment calabar here is another one |
@ Idddeiots calling Aboki Why not just castigate Buhari and leave tribalism out of it. |
standardchuks: Hmmmm Some people in Nigeria are instigators, they don't really want our unity yet we still claim to be 1 nigeria. Even a blind, deaf and dumb man in nigeria can tell our problem in this country are the HAUSAS. We IGBOS don't have any problem. So the rumour that we have hand in bokoharam is a word of Fools. GOD MUST SURELY PUNISH THE SOURCE OF THIS NEWS AND THOSE THAT SPOKE AGAINST WE THE IGBOS. Unu nile nwucha kwaa. Umu anu ohia na anaghi asapuli ahu. That is the problem, The newspaper did not speak against the Igbos as a people. Abeg were is your brain ? |
BlackPikiN: Amoosu Kanuri.Bia bia bia !. Ogini ? Shey no see the thread before you open another one after a month ? Eh Black pikin ![]() How was you day brother ? |
OAM4J: How many times do you want us to put the same story on home page?Thank you jare, some people need to grow up |
No it is not possible. reason being that commericial centres are usually of not all the time Over populated. No matter the amount of town planning one put it, a commercial centre would always be a commercial centre. Population is an important factor in serenity of any town or state. If there is a low population, then you get a serene environment (also planning comes to play) If there is an over population, YOU CANNOT GET A SERENE ENVIRONMENT. |
auwal87: 2015 is even too far. Let it happen now.So you support Buhari's statement ![]() If he is talking about a revolution, then Yes But Blood, ? ? ? Why blood ![]() |
To be honest, I am with GEJ on this. You can't be treating the Country abeg !. Present your candidate and let PDP present theirs, May the best candidate win chekena All this "baboon and dog socked in Blood" Would not help anyone. All you need to do Gen Buhari is to support Fashola, Sanusi/ Rochas or someone around that level and step back. |
I have to go to bed now Afam4eva go night brother ![]() |
jason123: You have been avoiding my questions today Alhaji!I am avoiding it cos my ethnicity got nothing to do with any discussion. I have said it here on nairaland before ![]() |
Abagworo: I have a feeling that most of the people on Nairaland are poor and uneducated. When are we going to stop being stuck in the 17th century? Nobody owns anywhere and nobody can own anywhere. You can only be said to be indigenous but not own a city. Like I am indigenous to Imo State, I don't own it. Anybody that buys land or invests there is a stake holder like myself but I can only pride myself as an indigene. I will not be jealous of him or see him as a threat. I will see him as a good person that has invested his hard earned money in Imo State.LOL, Ok sir. I had always supported this view until I got to Nairaland when people mouth off. |
jason123: Yes, we are. Now shut up!I am glad you are accepting the reality now, don't forget to add your other half Okija Juju ![]() |
Arctic: give the woman kudosShe is indeed a strong woman Much respect |
jmaine: https://i1233.photobucket.com/albums/ff390/ShaneDawg021/th_davidsternwaitamin.pngInnoson is the way forward . . . .I tell ya . . .you can say that again ![]() |
You have spoken like a true KING ![]() Onlytruth: In other words, Lagos state is a sort of serfdom with Tinubu as the Lord of the Manor, while Igbo are feudal lords. Yorubas are now the Serfs who work on the lands. I now understand why Lagos recently deported beggers from other Yoruba and Northern states. Oya make una clap for yourselves. |
Vergil: Out of curiosity. Can the same be said to an Igbo state? Any igbo state? That it doesn't belong to igbo pple? Just askingThey would not answer. Anyway, my brother make we siddon dey look ![]() Life is too good |
Mods can you please delete this ideeiotic thread by an ideeiotic poster https://www.nairaland.com/937005/igbos-beware-lagos-about-get Thanks |
manny4life: You are right in your theory, however, fuel subsidy is not the primary reason why prices skyrocketed. After all, prices of fuel subsidy increased by about 50%, yes, prices in goods and services increased, but not at the % at which SLS has determined to put Nigeria into chaos. There were other factors as well, besides, this is a fiscal responsibility AND NOT a monetary policy. Did you see them give a reason for this? Answer is NO, because his policies is backfiring; from FOREX, to devaluation to shrinking of capital market, to high interest rate etc. What do you think will happen? What do you think will happen to market price? Now you blame fuel subsidy? Biko, this one is not fuel subsidy.Biko biko, just cause you are good in economics does not mean "economic terms" to confuse me. 1. Whether primary reason or not, IT instigated it. Yes ! 2. Price of fuel increased by 50 % after increasing by 150 % at the first place. Nigeria economy, once a price goes UP it never comes DOWN. Nigeria is not a first world country where prices are regulated. You should know how things work here in Africa. I am sorry, the rest I don't understand, Again I am a layman |
Beaf: All parties are the same. That is why politicians can cross-carpet without blinking, in fact most parties have at least 40% of their members being ex-PDP. For parties like CPC, its closer to 90%.LOL pot call kettle black What makes you different from Gbawe One is working for ACN the other is working for PDP ![]() Mumu people would still believe you sha, well it is on the record that Nigerians average IQ is 67 almost a reta.rded country |
jason123: What is Igbo hating about my comment. Its being almost two days yet this thread is not dead. All you hear is "we are taking over etc". If you don't deem it fit to respect the Awori, Ijebus, Egbas and Eguns then, you don't deserve respect as well. How easy is it to give up your ancestral land to "stranger"?! Tell me?!Gbammmmmm !!!!!!!!!!!!! God bless you !!! |
Abagworo: So Innoson does manufacture mini trucks and saloon. I think I'll like to patronize them and I urge every patriot to patronize them even if their car is not up to Toyota or Mercedes standard.Nigerians that can't even patronise Globacom or Hitv would now patronise Innoson. I tell you we are our own enemies. FACT !!! God Bless Innoson, May Allah/God give him strength. Amin |
Ozonna: Well said my brother. Truth is there isn't much of a difference between ACN and PDPIf so, then what do we do ? Do we keep voting PDP and ACN in ? I mean we need to wake up !!! |
manny4life: Seriously, what is wrong with you? How does this relate to fuel subsidy? Besides, was subsidy creating revenue or even bigger expense for us?What do you think ? You are the economist here. I as a layman know that the reason why a sensible person would justify this for her money is because the value of the current denomination hold nothing again (Little or no value). Again why would Nigeria go for such ? Because we no longer control our prices (commodities). Ever since the fuel subsidy saga, prices of goods have risen and the so called promises that it would not affect the masses was betrayed. Thus inflation. Prove to me that I am wrong. |
solomon111: I wish GEJ would just abandon any ambition to run,and let the so-called 'PROGRESSIVES' and the 'OWNERS OF NIGERIA' rule, and let us see what they have to offer, even though from precedents, they have being an epic fail.stop talking like a mo.ron. We all are in the same shoes. Who are the progressives you are talking about ? We all should work together for the betterment of our descendents. If you have something against ACN speak out so we all can learn as well. |
