A man left government a year ago, his image still loom larger than life. Another came a year ago, everything he touched turned to dust!
In the realm of hypothesis, many said we would have been worse! I ask, what can be worse than this? A government run by NEOPHYTES and APPRENTICES? No economic policies in place.
Today, I am not convinced on devaluation. Next day, we will devalue to reflect present reality. Just before you think there is hope, you hear deregulation where government fixes prices of a commodity they can't provide. In another breath, oh, thank God we have removed subsidy on petroleum products. Just before you Erupt hope, the Vice president said we have not removed subsidy.
They banned the operation of domiciliary accounts and just as you say mama, they reversed themselves with unpardonable collateral damage to commerce. Their broomstick must have swept their brains into the 'odo ogun'!
Nigeria is no doubt an animal farm!

Rayhutar: Yoruba as a race dont take things of this world into their head like the SE,SS and the North, that is why they can have one family with different religion without any problem, the Yoruba problem with Igbos is the fear of domination, but Igbos are not like that, Igbos can never dominate people and start taking their land like northerners. True Igbos are not like that but the only problem some yorubas (not all) have with Igbos is how they view lagos etc. Apart from that I think Yorubas and Igbos are doing very well together. We do not kill people because of cows We do not kill people because of religion Those are what senseless people do and Yorubas, SS and Igbos are not like that !!! |

medpren: There is nothing emotional here, if the east is not compensated adequately for their faith in one nigeria, there will be voter apathy in the Eastern region opening the door for only Kano to trounce SW with or without Eastern vote. If you can not reciprocate the 1999 gesture where Ekwueme (who was even prefered by shagari to Obj) had to step down for OBJ. Then the Eastern bloc cannot help you. I know Igbos to be sentimental but reasonable when you give them good reasons. Yorubas will not beg igbos (God forbid it) but I will urge you and any Igbo out there to think critically and see Yorubas as their ally not enemies. |

Almajiri1: The Nigerian masses shouldn't do the grave mistake of allowing the compromised NLC or TUC to control the occupation.
The Tinubu I know off is a shrewd businessman who understands times and seasons and won't hesitate to overtly/covertly support the masses against Buhari at the right moment.
PDP can try and redeem their image in the eyes of patriotic Nigerians by using and making all their structures available for the masses during the occupation to boot out this rogue government.
PDP should also understand that they are just a different side of same coin as APC so shouldn't salivate at the prospects of taking power once APC is gone. Well I not necessarily PDP but a party with wisdom because clearly APC lacks a lot of that right now but yeah I agree with everything you said !!! |
Politics › Re: Electing Buhari President Was A Big Mistake – Yoruba Group by aljharem(m): 9:19pm On May 15, 2016 |
medpren: But yorubas have the testicular fortitude to say 'We will never vote an Easterner". A dey laugh. Anyway, the East is now wiser. I will advise you to stick with APC and take all the shi1t the north has to throw at you, also pray that No northerner contest after Buhari. Because I dey seriously laugh this your yoruba presidency mirage of life. Looool, well i want you to go and think about it !!! |

Rayhutar: How did GEJ sideline yorubas, Yorubas are more sideline under Buhari because all important political appointment is in the hand of the Northerners, Vice president have no much say in state of things in Nigeria. No in fairness, Buhari government is treating yorubas better in terms of portfolio allocation. GEJ guffed big time I as a yorubaman would actually prefer a Nigerian were every region is treated equally with respect or better still regionalism. The truth is that Yorubas love Igbos more than Northerners but Igbos don't like us so we fight back. We feel igbo people's pain, trust me we do ! Even more than Niger deltans |

YourMrBoo: Yoruba's didn't goof, they were used like a tissue and discarded inTO a swine.
let them keep thinking... yet they will rush to Igbos to REMIND them how sophisticated sufferisticated they are Typical of easterners, very sentimental and emotional. Why not sit back and think !!!!! A yoruba president is the most neutral Nigerian, He love social welfare for his people (Nigerians) He loves development because he is educated He does not care about religion He does not care about region He just wants a MORE COMFORTABLE NIGERIA !!!! |

Politics › Re: Electing Buhari President Was A Big Mistake – Yoruba Group by aljharem(m): 9:06pm On May 15, 2016 |
Almajiri1: Let's all first unite and boot out this rogue government and then see if one Nigeria is re-negotiable and if not each can respectfully go their separate ways. To boot out this rogue government before 2019 is a task that must be done considering present circumstances. I totally do agree, the deed has been done so we need to provide a solution Number 1 is to join NLC in this strike so has to hold the ace card (Yoruba and lagos) Number 2 is to sensitize other Yorubas in our neighbourhood and around why Buhari and indeed Tinubu lead apc is wrong for us Number 3 try and use Fayose to have the leading role in PDP as a party given that APC is still controlled by Yorubas to a reasonable extent |

Pejah: What are ur reasons for saying that the next president must be a yoruban? Yorubas have show balance in ruler-ship right for history. No partisan politics and good economic direction. !!! Just look at GEJ and his mistakes, even worse Buhari I repeat GEJ worst decision was to sideline yorubas. |

Almajiri1: The REAL omoluabi's have the support of patriotic Nigerians. Yes oh, We want a proper yoruba man to rule Nigeria after this mistake goes out 2019. It is clear the North don't have the emotional intelligence to rule and the east don't have the forgiving spirit to rule. We need an edo, Itsekiri or Yoruba man (Ekiti, Kwara or ondo) to rule Nigeria |
